"Should I keep this one?" Riley asked. I look up from my phone to see her walking out of her closet holding a yellow dress.
We were cleaning out her closet to give whatever she doesn't wear or fit into to donation, and so far she has only been able to let go of four pieces of clothing and a pair of shoes.
"Does it fit you?" I asked, seeing that it looked a little small.
She held it up to her body and frowned. "No." She removed the hanger and tossed the dress into the donation pile.
"Have you seen Louis around? I tried to talk to him yesterday but he wasn't home all day." I asked her. It's been nearly a week since I promised Riley I'd talk to Louis, but I haven't see him since I got back and that's was a while ago. She was right when she said he has been distant. Not just towards her, but to all of us.
I go back to looking at my phone, sending a text in response to my dad.
- I am doing okay. How is Faith doing?
- She is great. We are coming down to Toronto next week.
- Do you want me to pick up the paint colors you guys picked out for the basement?
- could you, please?
- I will go on Friday and drop them off at the house.
-Thank you. I have to drop Taylor off at her friends but I'll call you tomorrow. Love you
-love you too
"Do you want to come with me to Home Depot on Friday?" I asked Riley, putting my phone down on the bed next to me.
She pops her head out of the closet and looked at me curiously. "Is your dad coming to town?"
"Yeah. He is coming to work on the basement at the house again." I said, smoothing the blanket out with my hand.
"Yeah, I'll come with you." She said before getting lost in her closet again.
"Thanks."
"What about this one?"
I look up once again, not actually paying attention to what Riley was showing me. I had to do a double take once I realized what dress she was holding.

"Babe, I want to see it." Harry called from the other side of my bathroom door.
I stood in the mirror wearing a pink and white dress Riley had given to me last week. It was a little short around the legs and very revealing around the chest. It had spaghetti straps and it hugged my waist, flowing out lightly once it reached my hips and ended a few inches below my butt. It was supposed to be a summer dress, but I would never wear this out in public. It didn't even pass the bending over test.
"My skating dresses aren't even this revealing." I mutter, ready to take it off and put my shorts and shirt back on. "I'm changing."

"No! Let me see before you take it off." He whined. I couldn't even see him but I know he was smiling.
I sigh and put my shorts back on the counter, walking over to the door and opening it slowly. He was sitting on the edge of my bed, leaning back on the palms of his hands.
When he saw me, his jaw dropped and he eyed me dramatically. I start tugging the dress down to cover a little more of my legs. "See? It's too small." I say, turning around to go back into the bathroom.
"Wait, come here." He says. I open the door back up and drag myself towards him.
"You look very beautiful." He says sweetly. He separates his legs and pulls me in between them, wrapping his arms around my waist tightly and leaving a kiss on my collarbone. "Do you think Riley would mind if I ripped it off of you?"
I roll my eyes. "Keep it in your pants." I chuckled, smiling down at him and resting a hand on each side of his face. He lifted his chin up and kissed me lightly.
"For you? Never." He mumbled against my lips, pecking them again. "Will she mind?" He asked again.
I bite my lip and lean down, teasing my lips against his wide smile. "I guess we will have to find out." I whispered, fully pressing my lips against his. He responded quickly and pulled me onto his lap, running his hands up my thighs and under the dress.
My hands trail down his chest and start to lift up his white t-shirt until he pulls away. "Wait. Isn't Nick here?"
I continue to take his shirt off before pushing him down onto the mattress. "He's not home."

"Throw it out." I say without hesitation, a blank expression on my face to hide the fact that a small part of me wanted to keep that dress for the sentiment.
She looked taken back at how harshly I spoke, but tossed the dress anyways. "Okay, then."
My phone started to ring and I saw it was Nick wanting to FaceTime. I tap the green icon, waiting for some awkward body to show up on my screen like he always does.
"We don't have training tomorrow!" He sang once his face appears.
"I know." I chuckled, turning over so I was on my stomach.
"Come over. I'm bored and Natalie won't entertain me." He pouted slightly.
"I don't blame her." I mumbled. "I wish I could, but I'm helping Riley clean out the hoarded mess she calls her closet."
I feel a hanger hit my back and I screeched, looking at Riley who had a frown on her face. "First of all, it is not a hoarded mess. Second of all, you aren't even helping."
"That's not true. I'm telling you what you should and shouldn't throw away." I defended myself, throwing the hanger back at her before facing my phone again. "You can come over if you want to."

"Say less." He responds before hanging up. I stare at the blank screen of my phone and shake my head in disbelief before setting it back down.
My mind wandered to Harry, and realized we still hadn't went out for a coffee like we planned to. I gave him my new number a few days ago, but I forgot to ask about coffee, so I reminded myself to ask him later.
I was also still debating telling Harry about what happened after he left since Nick and Riley kept pestering me about it. Even Brandon told me I should tell him, but the thought made me feel sick.
As I tried to think of ways to approach Harry the next time I see him, another thing came to mind. "Riley," I paused as I lifted my head up so she could hear me. She drops the shirt she was studying and looks at me, giving me her attention. "How do tell Harry?"
She looked confused for a couple seconds, but caught on quickly. "I don't know, honestly." She shrugs, grabbing another shirt. "Don't just throw it right in his face, obviously. You said you were gonna grab coffee with him so while you're talking, ease into it."
I gave her a blank stare, her advice not all that helpful. "Thanks."
"Well I don't know, then. That's all I have at the moment." She says, holding a white Fleetwood Mac shirt up in front of me. "Do you want this?"
"Sure." I hold my hand out and grab it, placing it next to me as I rest my elbows at the edge of the bed to face her. She was right about telling Harry. He had to know about it and things couldn't get any worse right now so I might as well tell him while I can. If I hold it off for too long, he would think I was purposely hiding it from him when that's not the case. I want him to know, I was just afraid of his reaction.
"Oh my god. This was my high school graduation dress." Riley says in awe, holding up a white mini dress.
I gasp and point at it. "That's mine!"
"No it's n-" She stops herself and grabs a maroon dress from the same pile she grabbed the white one from. "Nevermind. This one was mine." She throws my old dress at me and I catch it, putting it next to me along with the shirt she gave me.
A knock on the front door caught both of our attention and I got up to go answer it.
"Hello, Mad Hatter." Nick greets with a wide smile as I swing the door open.
"Hello, Nicholas." I invite him in and lock the door behind him, walking back to Riley's room.
"Damn, woman. Who knew you had all these clothes when you wear the same outfit everyday." Nick snickers when he sees Riley on the floor surrounded by different articles of clothing.
"Nice to see you too." She mumbled and rolls her eyes, tossing a pair of shorts at his head only for him to toss it back and sit on the bed.
"Have you figured out the situation with Harry yet?" Nick asked me, copying my position by laying on his stomach next to me.
"No, I'm gonna stop by their place later." I exhale and rest my head on my right hand. "I don't know what to do anymore."
"Why don't you try calming things down again? You know, make things easier so you could be in the same room together, at least." Nick suggested proudly, like I haven't thought of that.
"What do you think I'm doing, inviting him for a tea party?" I say with obvious sarcasm dropping from my voice.
He put his hands up in defense. "I'm just saying. No need to bite my head off."
I close my eyes and run my hand down my face. "I know, I'm sorry. This is just stressful."
"Amen!" Nick shouted dramatically in my ear. My response was to flinch and put my hands to my ears after pushing him over the edge of the bed. "Ouch."
Riley huffed and flopped onto the pile of clothes. "I'm ordering a pizza. I haven't eaten since lunch." She said, reached over to her nightstand to grab her phone.
" since lunch? It's almost eight." I said in surprise.
"I know. I've been going at this damn closet since three and I'm not even close to finished." She sighed as she typed in a number and held her phone to her ear.
Nick climbed back onto the bed with a grumpy look on his face and ignored me staring at him with a smirk on my face.
His blank look disappeared when he reached over the edge and grabbed something off of the floor. "Why on earth do you have my hoodie?"
Riley shushed him and started to order her pizza. "She had my graduation dress too." I pointed out, holding it up as proof.
"That makes more sense than my hoodie. I never come over here." He says, unfolding his hoodie. I immediately recognized it and held a sheepish look.
"I may have taken it on accident and let her borrow it. My bad." I chuckled as he sent me a glare.
After Riley ordered her pizza, she became more determined to finish cleaning as fast as possible. Her and Nick held a conversation but all I could think about was Harry.
I need to figure out what to say to him or things will never get better from here.
