It was impossible to successfully suture the broken arms just in one attempt, so Song Qinghan had tried to suture and remove for so many rounds of attempt, at least he had attempt to manipulate it for three times before finally determining the targeted position and restored the commander’s broken arm to its original appearance.
Probably because there were waves of physical pain surging inside, the commander’s long numb nerves seemed to be stimulated. After the arm was finally connected, his eyelashes shivered slightly, and the next moment he opened his eyes slowly.
“Water, water…” the commander pleaded.
Naturally, eyes needed a buffer period when they had to adapt to the sudden brightness from the dark. What’s more, the commander had lost too much blood. It was already fortunate to be able to see a figure not far away from him.
Without waiting for Song Qinghan’s orders, Shuluo took the initiative to trot to get a pot of warm water. After pouring it into the cup, he carefully helped support the commander’s upper body and fed him half a bowl of water.
After the commander finally drank the water and regained his physical energy slowly, his pair of eyes eventually came to focus. When he saw the face of Song Qinghan who had his head lowered absorbing in the operation, a flash of surprise flashed across his eyes and he asked subconsciously, “It’s you? What, what are you doing here? Where is this place?”
Seeing that the commander started jerking his body subconsciously in a sober state, Song Qinghan came to worry that it would be no good to the operation effect, so he frowned tight shouting, “Don’t talk if you want to live! Talk after I finish the operation.”
The commander was completely stunned. After wholly comprehending Song Qinghan’s words, he delivered a bitter smile while complaining secretly in his mind that Song Qinghan did not change at all. He was obviously the unreasonable one but still with a serious face as if he was the true commander here. Yet, since he had once on the verge of death and visited death gate, viewing things in a serious way would never be one of his consideration right now. In that case, he finally sank into a silence without saying anything even though he hadn’t figure things out yet. With the assistance of Shuluo, he laid down again and let Song Qinghan show his ‘prowess’ on his body.

The situation at the leg part was a little more complicated, and because it was bigger, Song Qinghan needed to spend more time over it, but even so, he still failed four or five times.
Shuluo looked quite anxious as well for Song Qinghan while he was scratching himself on the head and butt even fiercely as if the next moment he was about to rob the needle in Song Qinghan’s hands over and operated himself.
Song Qinghan remained his calmness there. Failing on connecting the broken legs would be quite normal, and there would be nothing to blame even if Song Qinghan made the whole operation a total failure, after all, he wasn’t someone who was with superpower and made every single operation in his life successfully.
The pain when he woke up seemed even more painful, but the commander did not choose to complain at all, because he had suffered in such a great pain for so long, nothing but numbness was right now occupying his nerves. He knew that Song Qinghan was now helping him connect his legs. So in such a case, he did not speak, nor move violently, and even tried his best to breathe slower in case that Song Qinghan would be bothered and the operation would ultimately came to a bad end.
He and Shuluo both ignored one thing. No matter who tried to persuade them that the broken limbs could be connected by specific treatment, they would doubtlessly believed that it was just a bold yet brainless scenario. They currently they tacitly and subconsciously accepted this kind of matter without even a thought of doubt.
Probably this was Song Qinghan’s charm. Of course, it was also because of his concentration and seriousness during the operation that he exuded this convincing charm.
A gust of dreadfully scary silence was right now flowing within the tent, it could be seen that yellow-bean-like sweats were rolling down on Song Qinghan’s forehead mercilessly. Along with his cheek in slight redness, he looked like he had just finished a strength-consuming work.
“Alright, don’t move. I’ll handle it and talk with you right now.”
He raised his arm and wiped the sweat on his forehead with his clothes to prevent them from flowing into his eyes.
The commander nodded obediently and decided to wait for Song Qinghan to finish speaking before asking what he didn’t know.

Song Qinghan got his movement quick, and then he came to explain without wasting time, “Your arms and legs aren’t broken completely, so I tried to connect them again. As for whether it will be a success or not, it depends on your physical fitness and recovery situation. In short, you can ascribe it to the fate.”
Shu Luo seemed to think that it was very funny for Song Qinghan to say the words which were “mystery of mysteries”. He couldn’t help but cover his mouth and chuckling secretly.
Song Qinghan glanced at him and saw that he quickly restrained his expression. And then he continued, “In any situation, you are not allowed to move, at least before they are to successfully connect. No matter you are going to have your meal or to do a poo, you should process them right here for your own good. I believe that there will be someone who will be fully responsible for taking care of you based on your position.”
Hearing that, Shuluo couldn’t help but lament.
Who the heck would be the one to take that responsibility? Of course it would be him! Well, he should be so unconvinced right now being assigned to take care of this old guy.
Song Qinghan thought for a moment and added, “About what time you will be allowed to move, I will be the responsible one to make a decision. Anyway, as long as there will be no unexpected accident, I will visit here everyday, well, at least once a day. You should stay in bed obediently and don’t move without my permission, and even if the enemies are about to kick your ass, you have to stick your ass on the bed, they will never know whether you’re alive or dead anyway.”
The commander was rather speechless as Song Qinghan said so, and finally he couldn’t help but come to ask, “Are you a doctor?”
Song Qinghan raised his eyebrows, acting like he had just head something rather hilarious, and then calmly asked, “Isn’t it so late for you to figure the fact out? If it isn’t, how dare am I to make a fuss on your body with needle and thread? You’re not a cloth, right?”
After hearing Song Qinghan’s answer, the man realized that what he had just asked was indeed kind of foolish. He cleared his throat and hesitated for a moment before continuing to ask, “How long will it take for me to recover? A big war will break out in half a month. I hope I can catch up with it… ”
“Oh, then you definitely won’t be able to catch up with it. Give it up, you old COMMANDER!”
Song Qinghan still remained his calmness on face, as if he hadn’t seen the sullen expression of the commander at all.
And it was Shuluo who took the initiative to speak consoling, “Even if you can move, you can’t offer any help at all, so…”
He then took a sudden pause. Noticing that the commander’s face was becoming paler, he finally realized that what he said was something unpleasant, so he coughed awkwardly and then chose to remain his silence wisely.
After Song Qinghan informed the commander with all he had to mention, he turned to pack things up, and then clapped his hands, while standing up and nodding to Shuluo, “It’s getting late. I’ll go back and rest first. It will fall to you to take care of him, alright? If he once gets a fever, you should…”
“I’ll go find you!”
Shu Luo quickly answered. Seeing that Song Qinghan was looking at him with an inexplicable expression, he couldn’t help but straighten her chest and ask, “Am I wrong?”
Song Qinghan smiled and answered calmly, “You should take a jar of liquor, and repeatedly help him wipe on his body overall and overnight. He will be all fine till the next morning.”
Seeing that Shuluo was revealing an expression of embarrassment, Song Qinghan finally felt himself with a relief in mind. He turned his head back to the commander and nodded, “I will leave right now.”
After that, he decisively unveiled curtain of the tent and walked out. He also said to Shuluo who was about to send him off, “Stay well. Don’t let others in. If you have anything, let them talk outside, and inform them that your dogskin plaster can’t be affected by any wind.”
