My mom sat there a little dumbfounded as she examined the letter that I had handed her from dad, we were now in the kitchen the whole house almost as quiet as it was when we arrived except now Pennie was sitting with Axel at the Piano as he attempted to teach her chopsticks... which was kinda surprising to me because first of all I had no idea he could play the piano and two why that song?

"How do you know this is real?" Mom asks laying the letter down and brushing her fingers through her hair.

"Why would he bring me back here if he made it and just wanted to kidnap me?"

She went silent for a moment before letting out a heavy sigh and standing up moving to pour herslef some more coffee. Although her cup wasn't even halfway empty.

"Winter... Why would your father doing something like that?"

I look at her then back to the note. "I'm not exactly sure... but I've been thinking about it a lot too... I just... I don't know mom. I was hoping he would be here to give me answers but..."

"He's away on bussiness..." She mumbled moving to bring the cup up to her lips taking a small sip her eyes close as the sound of the missed notes suddenly are replaced with smooth savory ones. Axel must haven taken over. "I could call him... or have your brother call him... although... he is probably going to deny it..." she hums.

I glance around the kitchen and spot a magazine that has a popular television show on the cover. "Mom... I have an idea... but I'll need a lot of help... and I'm going to need to call a few friends."

Mom blinks and looks me over glancing to the same magazine I am. "I don't understand..." She mumbles turning back to me a look of confusion still on her face.

"Oh you will." I smile before moving to get up, "Can I borrow your phone?" I ask holding my hand out.

She slowly nods handing it over, I unlock it and look through the contacts texting the people I need before handing it back.

"Read the messages. You'll understand." I turn heading towards the door now. "Axel come on! We have to go pick up Issy."

Issy stood at her front door dumbfounded as she looked me quietly for a very long while.

"Winter? This isn't a joke. You're really here right?" She reached her hand out to touch my face.

I laughed a bit moving her hand away from my face. "Yes, Issy, it's me, and we don't have long to talk I need your help."

"We?" She asked moving her gaze to Axel. "Oh... Hello." She smiled slightly before her eyes moved back to me a look on her face asking 'Who is this?'.

I sigh looking to Axel then to her, "Issy this is Axel. Axel, Issy. Now can we please get going I have to hurry up before my dad gets home."

"Whoa whoa whoa. You can't just show up after being gone for like a month and expect me to go no questions asked."

I sigh heavily before beginning to explain as quickly as I can, "Okay. This is Axel. My dad is actually a complete tool. I wasn't missing really, since dad knew where I was. I was with Axel. He 'kidnapped' me, but it was all a set up by dad. I'm fine. No one hurt me. I'm still healthy. Now can we just go?"

She blinks a few times still confused before she sighs. "Fine but you're going to answer any questions I have along the way okay?"

"Yeah, Yeah whatever lets go." I breath before we all head back to Axel's car.

The plan is almost ready to be put in motion.

Over the next few hours Issy is helping my mom and Pennie with the plan. Everyone asking me questions all throughout. Which Is really distracting since I'm not exactly how the plan is even going to end up playing out.

Issy stopped what she was doing looking down to me holding one of her makeup brushes to the side. "Okay. Now that you answered most of my questions I have one more. What is your big plan anyway?"

"The plan," I breath not sure yet how I'm going to actually word this. "is to put me in a disguise anything will do, you just needed to change my appearance. Axel is going to set up a little meeting with my dad. He is going to wear some sort of recording device and convince my dad something happened to me. He sold me or I'm dead, either will probably do the trick. The wire thing is for you guys I want to be in the room when dad confesses his plans to Axel. I also really just want to know what was going through his mind, I need to confront him as soon as he says something. So The disguise should be some sort of help. Dad never thinks they have brains and says anything he wants in front of them."

Issy looked to mom then Pennie, "Are you sure your dad will confess?"

"He'll probably be afraid that if I'm found they can somehow trace it back to him. So yeah he is going to get upset with Axel... at least I hope so."

She sighed moving to open her big bag of powders, gels and other girly items. "Fine... Fine. I just hope you're right and this works."

"....Me too.. I'm pretty sure it'll work but... lets just... cross our fingers."

"Okay. Now stop talking so I can get to work." Issy says smiling slightly.

I should be afraid of what she is going to do to me... but at this point, I only care about confronting the man I once called my father.
