M: Hello Mr. Gupta (they shook hands) please take seat....This is Nandini...she’s mine(to which Nandini gave him death glare n the rest were confused) err….I mean my PA

N: Hello Sir...

Mr. Gupta: Hello Mr. Malhotra….hello Nandini this is my PA Luren….I must say you’ve got yourself a beautiful assistant….no wonder you work hard (winking at Manik)

M:(gritting his teeth) Shall we get down to business?

Then they started discussing….

Nandini was taking notes sitting beside Manik….suddenly something was caressing her leg….she looked down to see….it was Manik who was caressing her leg with his toes…..she looked at him….he seems to engrossed in the meeting…..so she pushed his toes away….but again it happened….

then Nandini sneaked her left hand under the table n pinched Manik’s feet...to which Manik looked at her with raising his eyebrow towards her….to which Nandini raised her eyebrows n pointed toward Maniks toes which were on her leg...Manik mouthed a sorry to her, to which she shrugged….n then they again continued with the meeting….the whole incident was unseen by Mr. Gupta n his PA as they were looking at some documents that Manan showed them…..Nandini escorted them out 1ce the meeting was done.... they continued rest meetings without any further occurrence which made Nandini believe that it was unintentional. As soon as Nandini entered her cabin there was a call….

M: Nandini see me in my cabin now….

Nandini knocked….

M: Come in….

N: You wanted to see me Mr. Malhotra?

M: Call me Mani….

N: Excuse me?

M: Excused….well Mr. Malhotra sounds too old n Manik is too big...so Mani is alright….so call me Mani

N: Mr. Malhotra I dont think your surname makes you older but your age does n it’s better to call your boss by his surname it keeps the professionalism on track….anyway sir we need to head for the restaurant for our lunch meeting or else we’ll get late….by the way it is Miss Murthy for you...

M: Yeah yeah Miss Murthy we'll settle this later... let's go for the meeting then.

When they reached the car Nandini was about to sit in the passenger seat at the front….

M: (gritting his teeth)Miss Murthy can you do the honor of gracing your presence at the backseat with me?

N: But Sir…

M: (sternly) Miss Murthy just get in here….

Nandini followed him without a word. The car started n after a few minutes Manik started to hum a song….

….n the lyrics of the song got her attention….she felt like he meant each n every word of it….she was lost in thoughts….By the time Manik finished the car halted to its destination….

Manik got down from the car….he noticed Nandini zoning out….

M: (clicking his fingers in front of her) Miss Murthy if you’re done writing your novel then can we proceed? We’ve got a meeting to attend….

N: Sure Mr. Malhotra…

Sighing she followed Manik….it really is going to be a long day….
