Charlotte didn't like this Hoh.
Hoh, the orange haired man with a pair of orange eyes and tan skin with a red horn on his head, greeted the two of them with a friendly smile.
A villain may smile and the smile hides knife, Charlotte thought. But compared to a certain roach, Hoh was better.
Speaking about that roach, Charlotte remembered that there was used to be a roach walking on her home. She shivered when she imagined about that roach in disgust.
"Oh no, I think you must be talented in -"
Bam's voice made her snap from her thoughts.
"Nope" His words were cut by someone else. The one who cut his words was the one who has been sleeping next to her, Laure.
"What? Mr. Laure, aren't you being too rude to someone else?" Bam asked.
He was trying to comfort Hoh who said that he has no talent in bring a wave controller but Laure stopped him.
Charlotte thought that Laure was right. Just because Bam sympathized Hoh doesn't mean that he could just lie, deceive and to give someone else a false hope.
Laure then asked Bam to open his palm to demonstrate something and then a small light appeared on his palm and floated on the air. And a moment later, it disappeared. Hoh and Bam were stunned.
Laure coolly walked away and left the class, "That's what you call 'talent', boy."
Charlotte stood up and tapped Bam's shoulder with a smile, "Of course. My brother is talented. You should teach me later, brother."
"But...... I don't even understand a single thing....."
"Anyway, we will be off to look for Brother Altaira" Charlotte told Hoh. "Do you want to come with us?"
Hoh smiled awkwardly and waved his palm, "Ah, no, no need."
"Then see you later" Charlotte immediately said and pulled Bam's wrist. The two of them left together.
Bam didn't like Altaira. He stole his sister away from him and pretended that he was her older brother.
"Can we just look for someone else?" Bam asked.
"Then other than him, who else do you want to look for?" Charlotte asked. "Do you want to look for Celeste?"

"No" Bam answered. He knew that wherever Celeste was, there will always be Altaira. He thought for awhile before he then asked, "What about we look for Mr. Khun instead?"
Charlotte froze on her spot.
"Charlotte?" Bam tilted his head and wondered why Charlotte suddenly stopped walking.
Khun Aguero Agnes was one of the main characters in the Manhwa. He was nice, no, nice didn't suit with him. He was actually ruthless but he was fiercely loyal to Bam that he would follow him to chase someone who he wishes to die. He wasn't any enemy for Charlotte as long as she didn't go against him like that roach and there was no grudge between the two of them. The only reason why she didn't want to see that person was because she liked him.
And since she liked that person, those feelings would make her nervous and she was unsure how she should react whenever he was around. Whenever they had conversation, Charlotte would always be the first to run away.
Charlotte wasn't someone who could openly pursue someone else. She was the type who will conceal their feelings as she didn't have any idea about how to pursue someone. She wasn't that confident in romance.
Not to mention that ever since she had became a cripple, she started to compare herself with someone else. Thinking how high that person was, Charlotte would always feel down and down. She hasn't gotten rid of this habit yet and this has been a problem for her.
So she thought that to stop herself from lowering herself or behaving weird and nervous, she decided to minimize her interaction with Khun. Sometimes she would laugh herself. She has been dreaming to meet Khun but when she had gotten the chance to talk with him, she didn't have that courage.
But 'unfortunately', she was Bam's younger sister and Bam had always seen Khun as his most trusted friend. So he would always find Charlotte and then bring her to Khun. The funny thing was that no matter where she hides, Bam would always find her that she wondered whether he had put some GPS on her pocket or not.

"What about.....we do something else?" Charlotte asked. Her brain was thinking about what she should do to avoid that man. "Ah, why don't we spend time together? Just the two of us, a pair of twins, alright?"
Bam was even happier to hear that. He agreed into it and Charlotte sighed in relieve.
"Anyway, you should be careful with Hoh, brother" Charlotte said.
"Why?"
"Because be isn't someone good" Charlotte said.
Bam didn't understand what she means. Hoh seemed to be a good person. Therefore, he asked Charlotte why would she thought like that.
'It's because I read the Manhwa and follow you for more than 200 chapters' she thought. 'I know whatever you experience.'
But she can't give that kind of answer so she pressed her lips and replied, "I....just know it......"
Bam sighed and patted Charlotte's head, "You shouldn't be like that. If he hears what you just said, he would be sad."
As if she cared whether he was sad or not.
Charlotte looked at him for a moment before she lowered her head and sighed. She should have remembered that Bam was courteous and nice to everyone. He was just a small child who didn't know about how cruel this tower could be.
"Alright, I will be careful when I talk to him" Charlotte said. "But you should be careful, brother."
"Alright" he said with a smile and she smiled back.
Charlotte felt guilty for deceiving someone as nice as him. So she thought that in exchange for deceiving him, she would help him with whatever she had. At least that was what she could do.
|Bam's Room|
At night, Charlotte didn't expect to see Khun there. The person who she didn't want to meet other than Hoh and that roach was here in her brother's room.
He was lying on his brother's bed as he complained, "I'm exhausted! Why there is so much to learn?"
"I agree, I couldn't understand at all" Bam said.
"I know right? Why do we have to come all the way up here to take this boring class?" Khun asked again.
Charlotte also didn't enjoy the class but she knew that it was for her own good so she remained silent.
"Oh, by the way, where is Mr. Rak?" Bam asked.
"Oh, that crocodile? I met him on my way and he was super furious."
Khun mimicked Rak when he was angry and that he insisted to go back to the wild and to leave that place. Knowing that it must have something to do with the spear bearer class, Charlotte couldn't help but to wonder whether Altaira played a part on it as well. But she had a strong feeling that he must have done it.
"I guess something must have happened during his class, haha" Khun said. "He is funny, isn't he?"
Bam laughed while Charlotte just smiled.
Knock knock
"Who is that?" Charlotte wondered.
"I will open it" Bam volunteered.
Charlotte just smiled when she saw Bam walking away. He was very adorable, no wonder that the Zahard Princesses will be following him in the future.
"You" Charlotte unconsciously looked at Khun when he began to speak again. "Have we meet somewhere before?"
He didn't meet her, but she knew about him well. Charlotte maintained her smile and replied, "Nope."
"Then why do you look like a frightened rabbit whenever I am around?" He asked straightforwardly. "I don't bite."
"......."
Rabbit? Was she a rabbit? Did she look like a rabbit? Which part of her looked like a rabbit?
For all these years, people have always called her as a small puppy, especially Altaira. She was indeed adorable, Altaira admitted that. And sometimes, after he praised that, he would always add: "But as a puppy, you keep asking to be kicked out."
And she would always laugh at his irritated smile.
"Maybe that's just your imagination" Charlotte lied. This man was indeed sharp. "When have I acted like a frightened rabbit?"
'All the time' Khun thought. He looked at the two guests, 'But maybe she was right. I was just thinking too much.'
