Bam was back on the fight with the red thorn showing its real form.
"Brother!" Charlotte shouted at him with a very happy smile while Reflejo was getting more irritated.
He swung his spear and asked, "Where are you looking, Nox?"
Charlotte clicked her tongue in annoyance as she jumped backwards to dodge Reflejo's spear, "Give a chance to talk with my brother, will you? If it wasn't for you FUG kept trying to kill him, then I won't suffer from heart attacks all the time!" While Khun face palmed himself after he listened to what she said, Charlotte smiled and looked at her brother again, "Brother, are you alright? That red thing must be the thorn right?"
Just who on earth asked his enemy to wait and to not fight him first until he had finished talking with his brother? Ah right, Charlotte did that.
"I'm fine!" Bam replied with a smile. "And it's indeed the thorn!"
Rak used the lighthouse to move towards Bam and tried to explain everything to him while Bam, he looked at his palm. The thorn that he had now felt similar with the container that he had received from FUG but there was the difference between the two of them.
He put that matter aside first and then jumped to fight with Reflejo.
Reflejo, when he was given this power from the FUG executive Poken believed that one should have the power that they deserve. It was what we all call by 'fair', he thought.
"I will share my shadow with you. You who have lost everything to the Ten Great Families deserve to have it. Powers are given to those who deserved to have them. Isn't that obvious?"
Bam and Reflejo exchanged some movements again and surprisingly for all of them, Bam had managed to stop Reflejo.
This made Reflejo shocked since he was a shadow who didn't have any shinsu flowing inside him, while [Reverse Flow Control] was supposed to work only for those who had shinsu flowing inside them. He was just a mere shadow, how could this happen?
It didn't take him long to figure out the answer that was consist of a word: thorn.
The thorn that had showed it true self was helping Bam and made it possible for him to use the [Reverse Flow Control] to him who was just a shadow.
Charlotte looked at Bam with admiration as she whistled and cheered for her brother, earned a smack from Khun as he asked whether she knew the situation where she was in now. But Charlotte didn't care as she kept praising and admiring her brother.
This made Noah rolled his eyes and shook his head.
"The time has finally come. Create a team with the ones who had been sent by the elders and enter the tournament to complete the real needle. Our people will bring Viole."
'Finally, I'll get the power to fulfill my long desired wish.' You are undeserving of that power. It must go to those who are qualified.'
"Even if that needle accepted you as its master, I cannot" Reflejo said towards Bam. "I know that you aren't the God to fulfill our wish. You are not our God...."
"That's right, I am not your God" Bam agreed with his words. "Your God...is the delusion born from your weakness!"
His respond didn't satisfy Reflejo and irritated him even more as he decided to fight with Bam again. Bam, he had the three others to help him along with the needle while Reflejo was alone as the situation started to change and the E- regulars gained the upper hand.

[Flash Forward]
"Khun, prepare the [quadruple barrier] again" Charlotte ordered.
"Alright" Khun said and did it right on time to prevent Reflejo from hurting Bam.
"Crocodile, it's your turn" Charlotte said and turned to Rak's direction.
"It's not crocodile" Rak said as he jumped. "It's RAK WRAITHRAISER!!"
"LIGHTHOUSE!!"
The lighthouse once again teleported the spear and made Reflejo lost his balance. At that moment, Charlotte threw her fan that hurt Reflejo and startled him. From the dusts, Bam appeared again.
"You called me your God....make wishes as you please...then reject me when you don't need me. I QUIT!" Bam shouted. "I AM NOT YOUR GOD ANYMORE!" He launched an attack towards Reflejo and finished his words,
"THIS IS THE END!"
The silver mask that covered Reflejo's face cracked and fell from his face.
The effect from the attack was serious as it even destroyed the arena. From the cracks on the walls and grounds, Charlotte was able to tell that the attack before was serious. It was something that she couldn't keep up with.
But she didn't care about the strength of the former attack. She was even more worried at her brother who was now huffing and huffing. The tremendous power was new for Bam and it must be hard for him to control him.
Seeing his sister's worried expression, Bam smiled and patted her head, "I'm fine. I will get better soon. What about you?"
Charlotte knew that Bam won't want her to be worried of him. She also didn't want Bam to be worried for her either.
"Likewise, I will also get better soon" she said with a smile.
"How playful."
But unfortunately, Reflejo hasn't died yet. He was still conscious. As expected from the shadow and ghost who still remained in this tower for thousands of years, it wasn't easy to get rid of him.
"How cruel....for the needle to choose such a rookie as its master" he said with hoarse voice. "God....sometimes create ridiculous fate. He gives power and beauty to the unqualified ones. But if God has made mistakes....I will correct it for him."
By the time that they saw his eyes, they were surprised.
When he wore that expressionless silver mask at the time, he appeared to be an ordinary man. But when the mask was shattered and destroyed, they saw his eyes being closed and there was something red drawn on his eyes.
Seeing it directly was different than seeing it in the Manhwa. It was more terrifying. But she quickly calmed down as she remembered the reason why he lost his eyes. She was still someone with conscience and felt bit sad for him as she recalled the pain that he experienced in the past.
"At the time...you met a lady from the Ten Great Families who was chosen as the Zahard Princess candidate... She is too beautiful to be ignored and forgotten, isn't she?"
Her tone was softer and gentler. She said every single word carefully. She had no intention to hurt his feelings with his past.
"And the price that you pay for that single glance of her beauty....was that your tribe was massacred....and they took your eyes out. Am I right, Reflejo?"
The trio looked at her as she started speaking. Just like Reflejo, they were bewildered on how they knew about his past.
Reflejo wanted to deny it. But since she had revealed about his past, for some unknown reasons, he wasn't able to deny it. He asked her, "So what? Are you sympathizing with me, Nox?"

Charlotte, "........"
Had Reflejo not said it to her, then maybe she would not notice that she had sympathized him earlier. She quickly suppressed that feeling and pretended that she felt nothing for his background. They themselves were no better and they were also enemies. She didn't have to feel bad for her enemies. It was their fault for messing with them first.
"Don't be" he said. "Because the solution will be poured soon and all of you will die with me here. For the fulfillment of my long-desired wish.....please go to sleep..."
Reflejo had prepared all of this for a long time. He lured them on purpose and at this moment, he shut down the exit so that they won't be able to escape. He would melt in the solution with them.
Khun was worried as he immediately contacted Shibisu to ask whether they had found the hostages or not just to find that he hasn't found them. The princess was also running inside along with Hatz to save them, but the problem was the Bong Bong that would be their key to run away didn't work.
Before, they summoned the princess on purpose to help them. Both Endorsi and Hatz would distract the Mad Dogs but ended up defeating them. In the One Shot One Opportunity, Endorsi won Bong Bong, an item that would help them teleport. That item was supposed to help them to escape this tough situation but it was not working right now.
Charlotte was exceptionally calm at this situation. Perhaps it was because after she sympathized with Reflejo that affected her emotions right now. With her right hand below her chest while holding her fan, she walked towards Khun. To be more specific, she was walking towards his pocket.
"Shibisu, ask Yeon whether she had found Xia Xia or not" Charlotte said to him.
"Xia Xia? Who is Xia Xia?"
Bam was surprised. He hasn't introduced Xia Xia or told Charlotte about her yet. How did she know it?
Xia Xia. If her memories served her correct, Charlotte knew that she was a girl dressed in sort of red or pink uniform with two rabbit ears. She had brown hair and brown eyes and she loved money. In short, she was a greedy brown rabbit.
"She would help us find the hostages" Charlotte said. "If she refuses, then tell her to choose whether she wants to leave this place and survive, or to be buried here with the one million points FUG had offered to her.
As for Bong Bong, princess, the bag that Hatz is carrying has some energy. You could use it to charge the Bong Bong.
For the solution, you don't have to worry. Mr. Ro and Mr. Quant will notice that and confront the ranker who poured the solution inside."
Khun, "............"
Bam, "............"
Rak, "..........."
The two of them remained silent at Charlotte's unusual behavior. She was using Khun's pocket to tell others what they should do calmly without trace of panicking. Before, she was quite emotional. Her sudden behavior made them wonder whether she has been possessed or not.
Surprisingly, the others listened to her words and then found the hostages, began to charge the Bong Bong. The solution was soon pour inside and because of its concentration, the island where they were standing started to shake and tremble. If they weren't careful to maintain their balance and fell, then they would be dissolved in the solution. No one wouldn't want that to happen on them.
But suddenly, the solution stopped pouring. Like what Charlotte said, Lero- Ro and Quant came here to help them and managed to stop the solution from pouring for some time. They sighed in relieve.
But Reflejo wasn't going to let that happen.
"I resent God" he said to them. "if God had given me the power to change the tower........"
[Eight Shadow]
"THEN I WOULD NOT THOUGHT TWICE ABOUT MY PETTY LIFE!!"
He was waited for this moment for numerous of years. Years passed and his long desired wish was going to come true. When he was so close to get what he desired, after losing so many things and became a shadow that remained in this tower because of his obsession, why would he hesitate to reach out his hand and fulfill that wish?
He destroyed the place where they were standing as they all fell down together.
"AHHH!!"
"THAT CRAZY BASTARD!!"
'Even at my last moment.....that glimpse of you still remains. If I die like this....then you would be forgotten.'
Charlotte didn't want to be buried here. Her journey was still long. She wished that she could use the Blue Oar again. But she was too tired for it. Her body has reached its limit.
"Damn it!" Noah cursed. He had just found this girl, the only one who could see him. He wasn't going to let her die again. But as a spirit, his power and strength was limited. He hated the moments where he can't do anything but to watch.
Reflejo made a small smile. Right here and right now, his wish would be fulfilled.
But life has always filled with twists and unexpected events. When he nearly gets what he desired, someone else had destroyed that wish.
"Weird googly eyes is finally here!" Rak happily said. But he was then kicked by the brown haired female who came with the swordsman.
"Let's go boy!" Endorsi said towards Bam and held his hand, preparing to use Bong Bong to leave. "Let's go outside!"
When Reflejo knew that he was going to be buried and dissolved alone, he didn't expect that it would turn out like this. Endorsi Zahard appeared and then used Bong Bong in order to bring all her friends to leave the place, leaving him falling down.
"........."
He was too surprised to say something for a moment. When he was so close to death, he asked to the sky seven last words.
What was his obsession? His obsession was to find the God who would help him to seek revenge on the Ten Great Families. When they had found the suitable God for it, the God who was supposed to take that task refused to take it. He refused to achieve their dreams.
It was fine. Since he didn't want to, then they would just turn him as a weapon. After all, a silent and emotionless weapon was better than a God who naively thought that he could do whatever he wants.
But since he was a God, he wasn't someone who will die easily. At this moment, the Zahard Princess saved him and brought him out from the darkness right before him. He watched how they disappeared, leaving him alone.
"God......"
The thousands of years that he spent waiting in darkness as a shadow of someone else were futile, his long desired wish would never be achieved. He had waited for this day-
"Why would you....be so unfair?"
- just to be faced with great lost and disappointment.
This obsession would never be completed.
