Third person's point of view
"Game start!" The referee shouted.
"Ah!"
Rukawa and Akagi will be the one to do the jump ball so the game can officially begin.
The two players jumped at the same time. Rukawa tapped the ball to his teammate.
"Wow, the game is still a tie, even with the great height differences."
"Yeah, Rukawa is amazing."
"So, in reality, Rukawa is the real winner." Ayako said.
Sakuragi starting to imagine in how he defeated Akagi and Rukawa and Haruko will like him and saying he is the best.
Sakuragi got out of his train of thoughts when Ayako slams a paper fan in Sakuragi's head.
"He stole the ball!" Y/n exclaimed. "Kaede-kun steal the ball from Akagi-senpai!"
"Rukawa-kun!" Haruko exclaimed.
"Damn it!" Sakuragi said.
"Personal foul: illegal body contact by player 5." The referee said.
"Oh no"
"Freshman basketball team."
"Rukawa certainly improved on his defense." Ayako said.
"It's just a coincidence, coincidence for sure." Sakuragi said nervously.
"However, there's no chance that Rukawa and the freshman could win." Ayako said.
"Really?!" Sakuragi exclaimed happily.
"Even though Rukawa is very good, he's still only at the freshman level. He just got into high school, and it's impossible for him to defeat these guys." Ayako explained.
"Yeah, he's still lacking skills compare to them." Y/n agreed.
"That's not always true Ayako-san, Y/n-chan." Haruko suddenly exclaimed. "The average freshman has improved a lot now a days. Even though I don't know by how much."
"Haruko?" Ayako questioned her.
"Don't you know the story about Kareem Abdul-Jabbar?" Haruko started. "He was a freshman who defeated a bunch of upperclassmen."
"Oh? So, you know a lot about basketball too, Haruko-chan." Y/n said.

"I read it in the book last time." Haruko said. "How do you know about it, Y/n-chan?"
"I used to play basketball with my brother." Y/n answered. "I stopped because there has been an accident."
"Oh, sorry Y/n-chan." Haruko apologized.
"It's fine." Y/n said and smiled at her.
"Okay, back to the topic." Ayako started. "Haruko you're right, but Rukawa is no Jabber."
"Yeah, but this aren't UCLA either!" Haruko said.
Y/n and Ayako facepalmed in what Haruko said.
"But we got Akagi-senpai here." Y/n said just to break the awkward atmosphere.
"Yeah, even though this is aren't UCLA, we have Akagi-senpai!" Ayako said. "How could a nobody Rukawa, defeat Akagi-senpai?"
"Nobody!?" Haruko exclaimed.
"Eh!?" Y/n shocked and look at Ayako surprised. "Ayako-senpai, Kaede-kun is not a nobody. He's a great basketball player."
"Oh? Why can't Rukawa defeat nobody onii-chan?" Haruko asked Ayako.
"HAHA, are you joking Haruko?" Ayako asked.
"What's so good about onii-chan? Nobody Sakuragi-kun defeated him!" Haruko explained.
"Poor Akagi-senpai." Y/n said while looking down.
"Why are you being the sister, look so low upon your own brother?" Ayako asked.
"Aren't you the same Ayako-san, Rukawa-kun was one of your lower-classmen in middle school." Haruko argued. "Saying such cold words to a freshman, who just got into high school with fear and anxiety. Aren't that a little bit too much."
"Fear and anxiety!?" Y/n exclaimed. "I don't think Kaede-kun has any of those."
"Yeah." Ayako agreed "And besides, he's the kind of kid who would be late for a game just because he overslept."
"Yeah, he is really hard to wake up." Y/n added. "He got nearly no interest in anything and got an awfully slow reaction speed."

"HAHAHAHA! How would an idiot like him feel fear and anxiety?" Ayako said.
"Yeah, Yeah." Sakuragi agreed while laughing.
"I'm getting mad!" Haruko exclaimed.
"Oi? Ha-Haruko-san?" Sakuragi called.
"I will not forgive anyone even if it's you Ayako-san and Y/n-chan!" Haruko said while charging at Ayako.
"Ah, HAHAHAHA. I think we over did it Haruko." Ayako said while holding Haruko back.
"Yeah, but they are facts." Y/n whispered to Ayako while her hand is at her mouth to muffle her laughter.
"You are such a naïve girl Haruko." Ayako said while patting her head. "We're just teasing you, but your reaction is so funny."
"Ayako-senpai's right, Haruko-chan." Y/n confirmed.
"Oh! You're so cute!" Ayako said while kissing Haruko's cheek.
"Ahh! Ayako-san!" Haruko said.
"Don't worry, they're already in the same team anyway. I'm sure Shohoku will get better." Ayako teased Haruko.
"Hmph! Stop teasing me." Haruko said while being flustered.
Y/n has her hand over her mouth to muffle her laughter while Sakuragi stand with a dumb look, he really didn't know what just happened.
"What is up with those three? The entire atmosphere has been ruined by them." Akagi said to Rukawa.
"Okay guys, get ready to start practice again!"
"Yeah!"
The game continued.
Rukawa got the ball.
"Go there!" Akagi said to Kogure.
"Ah! Once Rukawa gets the ball, the 2nd and 3rd years begin to focus on him!" Sakuragi exclaimed.
"Well, Kaede-kun is a good player." Y/n said.
The four players of the 2nd and 3rd years were defensing the basket.
Rukawa passed the ball and got away with the first player. The player who has the ball pass it back to Rukawa. Kogure is on defense, Rukawa got pass him and shoot the ball. Akagi blocks the ball.
"He blocked it!" Ayako exclaimed.
"Go!" Akagi yelled.
"Good job Akagi!" Kogure praised.
Akagi passed the ball to Kogure.
"Hurry up." Akagi said.
"Do it Akagi!" Kogure said and pass the ball to Akagi.
Akagi dunked the ball.
"It appeared gorilla dunk!" A player from 2nd and 3rd years team yelled. "Oh no!" He yelled because Akagi just punched his head.
Pro tip: You're allowed to say the term 'Gorilla Dunk' with anybody else but DEFINENTLY NOT in front of Akagi.
"That was awesome!" Y/n cheered.
Rukawa wasn't happy about it, the fact that Y/n cheered for Akagi not for him.
"You're the best Akagi-senpai!" Ayako cheered.
"Oooo... Hight quality, high quality." Anzai-sensei praised.
"That was awesome." Sakuragi whispered.
Unfortunately for Sakuragi, Ayako heard him. They made an eye contact.
"Look like he does have some skills." Sakuragi said while crossing his arms to his chest.
"Ahh... Onii-chan is being so serious even with the freshmen." Haruko complained. "Poor Rukawa-kun."
"Oh? Haruko, you don't seem to know a bit about Rukawa!" Ayako said.
"Huh?" Haruko asked.
"That kid, although he looks like he doesn't care, but in reality, he really does." Ayako explained. "After seeing such wonderful performance from Akagi, his heart can't be un-moved by it."

Re-Ordaining of the Chosen
Alea cheerfully hummed as she descended the steps, brimming in upbeat while her colleague, Quarren Leos, shot her a look of skepticism. “So… were you right about him?” he asked doubtfully. She came to a stop for a moment, her humming falling silent before she shook her head, waving her medium length light-blonde hair from side to side. “I was wrong about him.” Quarren raised an eyebrow in confusion at the convoluted response.“But you seem quite happy?” he asked again. “Because I am. But I was wrong about him. He was… so much more than I ever expected.” Alea looked at the sky overhead with a smile. “That boy… no, that man, is amazing. I firmly believe he will come to stand on top of any adversary he faces. He is destined. He is Chosen.” Quarren snorted as he stepped past, shaking his head. “Okay. Each to their own beliefs but you’re sounding like a nutjob. That skinny twig? Everyone calls him a cripple, you know,” he shook his head.“Rumours are always false, Leos,” Alea answered with a disapproving shake of her head. “You wouldn’t know. He is so, so much more.” “I saw him with my own two eyes. I didn’t see anything redeeming,” Quarren rebutted. “Well…” Alea chuckled. “You haven’t seen what I’ve seen.” In the year 917 of the Imperial Calendar, the Great War had just ended between dozens of nations.
