Y/n's point of view
Our class are having a pe class, we are going to were short-shorts.
'Why do we have to wear this? I looked like wearing only panties! I hate pe class.' I thought.
Our class is at the outside waiting for our teacher's instructions.
'How come they look so comfortable wearing this?' I thought and looked at Haruko-chan. 'Even Haruko-chan is comfortable with this.' I sighed.
"Y/n-chan, are you okay?" Haruko-chan asked. "You look nervous."
"I-I-I'm f-fine, Haruko-chan." I stuttered. "It's just what were wear makes me anxious."
"Oh, okay I understand." Haruko-chan said while patting my shoulder to comfort me.
Haruko-chan stopped patting my shoulder and looked at the bushes. I looked at where she's looking. I saw Sakuragi and his friends hiding at the bushes.
Sakuragi waved at Haruko-chan.
"Sakuragi-kun." She said and waved back.
"Don't take notice of them!" Our teacher said and slapped Haruko-chan's head with his rolled paper.
Sakuragi got mad.
"That bastard!" Sakuragi and another guy yelled while jumping out of the bush.
"Oh!" The other guy said. "You are that..."
He got cut because Sakuragi punch his head.
"Spying on girls during class time!" One of the pe teachers yelled. "You guys are so brave!"
"Come to the teachers' office right now!" the other one yelled.
Sakuragi and his friends were able to get out of the situation while the other guy did not.
"Do you know him Haruko?" One of our classmates asked and they started approaching her. "That person, is he a 3rd year."
"Yup, he's my brother's childhood friend Ta-chan." Haruko answered. "Aota Tasuhiko."
"First, Sakuragi now this Aota." Our other classmates said. "Haruko you only know all these weird guys!"
"Eh?" Haruko said getting anxious.
"Your brother is scary too!" The other said.
"That's not true!" Haruko-chan defended. "All of them are really nice people. Maybe my onii-chan is a little scary."
"Okay that's enough." I said and grabbed Haruko-chan's arm and dragged her out of the crowed.
"Thank you, Y/n-chan for saving me." Haruko-chan thanked.
"It's fine." I replied. "Come to think of it, a lot of guys are attracted to you."
"Y-Y-Y-/n-chan!" Haruko stuttered.
"I'm kidding!" I spoke.
Our class is over, it's lunch time. Me and Kaede-kun always meet at the rooftop for lunch. He really doesn't eat he just sleeps.
I make my way to the rooftop wearing a 'proper' uniform.
I opened the door and saw no one.
'I guess Kaede-kun is still at class.'
Minutes later, the door is opened by Kaede-kun.
"Hey." I greeted and looked up from the book I was reading.
"Umm." He replied and made his way to me.
He grabbed my arm that was in my lap, he placed his head into my lap and my hand into his hair.
He sighed and closed his eyes.

"What happened?" I asked him while I play with his hair.
"Hmm, my teacher just ruined my sleep." He answered.
"I hope you didn't do anything to your teacher."
"Yeah, I didn't because they stopped me." He said while yawning. "I'll be going to sleep now."
"Okay, I'll wake you up when I hear the bell." I spoke.
'I'm just glad that he didn't do anything to his teacher. If I remember correctly, Kaede-kun gets mad when someone disturb his sleep. No matter who they are.'
When he drifted to sleep, I play with his hair and continue reading my book.
I heard the bell ring. I closed my book and put it beside me and start shaking.
"K-K-Kaede-kun, l-lunch is o-over." I stutter, because Kaede-kun might get mad at me. "Wake up."
I continue to shake him; he won't wake up.
I lean down to his ear. "Kaede-kun, wake up!" I yelled at his ear.
He jolts up with a wide eye.
He looks at me confused.
I giggle.
"Come on lunch is over" I said while standing up and fixing my skirt. "Let's head back."
I extend my hand to him. He grabbed into my arm and stand up.
We headed to the door.
"Sorry Kaede-kun, for yelling at your ear." I apologized while making our way to my classroom. "You won't wake up no matter how many times I shake you."
"It's fine. Just don't do it again." He spoke. "I think you broke my eardrum."
I giggled. We stopped at the front of my classroom.
"I'll see you at practice." He said and made his way to his classroom.
After he left, I come inside of my classroom.
After class, I put my things in my bag and made my way out.
I saw Kaede-kun leaning by the window at my left.
"Kaede-kun, let's go." I spoke.
We walk together to the gym. I started to wonder about our date this coming weekend, it's Friday today and I'm getting curious.
"Umm... Kaede-kun, where are we going tomorrow?" I asked while looking at my feet.
"Secret." He spoke.
"Why?" I asked. "What should I wear?"
"Something comfortable I guess." He answered.
"Okay"
We made to our respective locker room.
I opened the door and saw Ayako-senpai.
"Hey Y/n-chan." She greeted while putting her shirt on. "Has Rukawa asked you out yet."
"Yes." I answered while putting my things into the locker and get change.
"Oh, that's gre-what!" Ayako-senpai exclaimed. "W-W-When did this happen!?"
"Uh, yesterday. When we were going home." I answered.
"Aww, Rukawa is growing up so fast." She said while whipping her nonexistent tear. "Does anyone know?"
"Nope, only you." I answered while putting my uniform to the locker neatly. "I did tell you that you will be the first to know."
"Aww, I thought you won't remember that." She said and hugged me. "Come on let's go, we don't want to be late."

I closed the locker and made our way to the gym.
"So, when is this date?" Ayako-senpai teased.
"Umm, tomorrow after practice I guess." I answered.
I opened the door and let us both in.
Everyone started to arrive.
"Sakuragi! You're late!" Akagi-senpai yelled and punched his head.
We turned our attention to them.
"Gori?" Sakuragi said while holding his head.
"Okay! Let's start practice!" Akagi-senpai said and drag Sakuragi to the court by his neck. "Let's gather!"
"Yes!"
"Shohoku! Go!"
"Yes!"
Practice started.
They started to jog.
"Sprint!" Akagi-senpai yelled and clapped his hand.
They started to sprint.
Akagi-sempai clapped to indicate to stop sprint just jog.
"Sprint!" Akagi-senpai yelled and clapped his hand.
They started to sprint again. After that sprint they stop already.
"Huh? Did something happen good to Akagi-senpai?" I asked.
"Well, the captain of the judo team wants to requite Sakuragi using Haruko's old pictures. Sakuragi-kun declined." Ayako-senpai said. "But then the judo captain said that the reason why Sakuragi joined the basketball team is because of Haruko, but Sakuragi said that 'I have to play basketball because I am a basketball player' how cool is that!"
"Yeah, he looks so cool." I commented.
"Oh! You guys have already started?" Anzai-sensei greeted when he entered the gym.
"Good afternoon!" Everyone greeted.
"Louder!" Akagi-senpai said and punched Sakuragi's head. "When talking to sensei you have to sound more awake!"
"Why do you always have to hit me?" Sakuragi asked.
"GOOD AFTERNOON!" Akagi-senpai greeted loudly.
"GOOD AFTERNOON!" The players greeted again but louder this time.
"Good afternoon!" Me and Ayako-senpai greeted.
"Hohoho." Anzai-sensei laugh. "Good afternoon everyone."
"Okay! Let's practice shooting!" Akagi-senpai said.
"Yes!"
"Shooting? Does that mean I have to be left out of the court?" Sakuragi asked while approaching Ayako-senpai. "I really want to ask when I can be officially accepted into the team."
"Don't complain so much!" Ayako-senpai said.
"Sensei." Akagi said while standing in front of Anzai-sensei. "I think it is almost the right time to teach Sakuragi how to shoot the ball."
"Huh?! What's up with Gori again?!" Sakuragi exclaimed while looking at Akagi-senpai's direction. "He's saying all this weird stuff!"
Sakuragi approached Akagi-senpai. He inspects Akagi-senpai.
Akagi-senpai punch Sakuragi's head. Akagi turned to Anzai-sensei.
"Sensei, what do you think?" Akagi-senpai asked Anzai-sensei like nothing happen.
"Sure." Anzai-sensei said.
"Okay." Akagi-senpai said and bow.
"This is great!" Sakuragi said happily and he started talking about him beating Kaede-kun and Haruko-chan will finally notice him instead of Kaede-kun.
"Yo, Rukawa!" Akagi-senpai called. Kaede-kun turned his head toward him. "Come up and demonstrate how to shoot the ball!"
Kaede-kun goes to the two-point shoot, Akagi-senpai pass him the ball.
"So noisy and annoying!" Sakuragi complained.
"Rukawa!" His fangirls scream.
Kaede-kun is in his shooting position.
"You have to pay attention Sakuragi!" Akagi-senpai said.
Sakuragi gets a ball and sit on the ground.
'What's he doing?' I asked myself.
He rolled the ball towards Kaede-kun's feet.
"Fall Rukawa, fall!" Sakuragi yelled.
"Shut up!" Akagi-senpai said and punched his head.
"Why would he do that!" I panicked. "Do he even realize that it can cause an accident or worse!"
"Calm down Y/n-chan." Ayako-senpai said while rubbing my back to calm me down. "Nothing happened to your Rukawa. And he'll be fine."
"Yeah, he'll be fine." I spoke.
Ayako-senpai smirked due to me not knowing about her 'your Rukawa' statement. Too bad for me, I was panicking to take notice.
Rukawa make his way to the ring and shoots the ball flawlessly.
"KYAAH!" His fangirls yelled with Haruko-chan.
'Wait, Haruko-chan? You like Kaede-kun?'
"See that Sakuragi?" Akagi-sempai asked. "Now it's your turn to try."
"Hmph! Why do I have to try?" Sakuragi complained. "I don't have to do these things! Dunking is the only thing that matches my talented self; Sakuragi!"
"This is bad." I spoke.
"Oh... He's trying to show off again." Kogure-senpai said.
"That kid..." Ayako-senpai said while putting her hand to her lips.
"Idiot!" Akagi-senpai said. "Shooting or drinking the ball are the same! You have to learn the basics first!"
"Basics again?" Sakuragi complained.
"When you shoot the ball, you just throw it however. You like it doesn't matter how." Akagi-senpai explained. "If you use the methods, we taught you, it would be much easier to succeed than your method. When you're playing a real match, there will be a lot of other players blocking you! There's no way you can win with your weak skills. I already told you earlier, if you can't even do the basics, there's no need for you to play in the match."
'That was a long speech, just to convince Sakuragi to do basics.' I thought.
"Fine! I understand." Sakuragi sighed in defeat. "Being a basketball player is harder than I thought."
"That's right!" Akagi-senpai said. "That most important things for being a basketball player is to do the basics well. Well, let's start now! Bring the ball to the basket."
Sakuragi run towards the basket. "But suddenly I want to change the idea!" Sakuragi yelled. "How can I play the old-fashioned way in front of Haruko-san?! I have to dunk the ball in!"
He jumped. Akagi-senpai got angry. He throws the ball to Sakuragi's head.
"You idiot!" Akagi-senpai yelled.
"It hurts!" Sakuragi said while rubbing his head, he landed on his butt. "What is that supposed to mean?!"
"Shut up! You idiot! You still don't understand yet!" Akagi-senpai lectured.
"What's wrong with you? Your mood always changes! It's hard to understand this Gorilla!" Sakuragi complained.
"Who is the Gorilla?! You idiot!" Akagi-senpai yelled.
"Why would Sakuragi do that?" I asked. "When will he learn?"
"Idiot." Kaede-kun whispered beside me.

Leftover Apocalypse
[Participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] This is a story about the newly-adult Calliope Smith having a terrible day that ends in her getting mysteriously teleported from Phoenix, Arizona to a fantasy world where her life is in constant danger. She considers this an upgrade. Someone evil is looking for her, and she doesn't know why. Someone who seems to know a lot about her has promised they'll help her, but she doesn't know who they are. All that matters to Callie is that magic is real and one way or another she's going to learn it. The end of the world is coming up, sure, but Callie won't need to worry about that. In fact, by the time she even finds out about it one of the doomsday devices will already be destroyed, and the authorities will be well on the way to dealing with the other one. It's fine. Everything will be smooth sailing. Almost certainly. Probably. Chapters are usually about 2500-3500 words, and the goal is to post 2-3 per week but I sometimes get busy or have some writers block. It's your standard portal fantasy / Isekai premise, but unlike some the main character's time on Earth and how she got pulled into another world will (eventually) be explored. Some slight GameLit-feeling stuff later, no menus or level-ups but there's something suspiciously like a skill tree when the magic system gets going. No number crunching, and while the main character will get to do some silly stuff she won't be a god like in some fics (and will in fact spend a lot of time being badly outclassed by her enemies). Some reader interaction, ranging from adding to the worldbuilding to occasionally making big important decisions about skill progression. Please note that the main character is flawed and impulsive, and will make some stupid decisions. That's part of the story, but I get that it's not for everyone. Trigger Warnings: Foster care system references, crappy parenting. Some mental health adjacent stuff, specifically the main character has some issues where she experiences varying levels of empathy and emotional vulnerability depending on the day (it's complicated and not meant to portray any real-world conditions). Occasional violence including mention of death and grievous bodily harm, but no detailed descriptions of gore.

Everyday Dungeon Master
[ ON BREAK! Doing major revisions to both chapters in buffer and already posted! Sorry for the wait, I hope to come back with something better! ] Waking up inside a cave without any memory of where she is or who she is, it's time for our protagonist to... save the world! No, that's not it. Let's just live a good clean life. Speaking to the goddess of the stars about her role as a hero, it's time for our other protagonist to... save the world! Or maybe meet up with cute characters and make friends. A not quite dungeon management story with cute skeletons, demon lords, and angst the protagonist is desperately trying to ignore. A typical not-so-typical isekai story. ------------------------------------------------------- For Ao3: This work is / has been cross-posted to Ao3 under the name ReignOfTheIceWitch. Link ( & proof of content ownership in chapter 1 summary ). Releases Sunday, Midnight PST ( or PDT ). Summary updated 4/22/20 to better reflect the nature of the story. Pacing varies dramatically based on perspective, and although the genre is not mystery, there are many mysteries to the world. Features two main perspectives and timelines of events.
