"3-point difference. They've caught up, having a 3-point difference!" The crowd shouted. "68 to 65! There's still seven minutes left!"

"At first Ryonan was leading 19 to 0!"

"Didn't know Shohoku was this hard to handle! Now we don't even know who's going to win this match!"

Sakuragi is happy on what he was doing for the team.

"Gramps!" Sakuragi called Anzai-sensei. "Getting this secret weapon on the court was a really smart decision. Great job! Although almost made a mistake, but I'll forgive you."

"Is that so?" Anzai-sensei said and waved at him.

"You were so tense before... You're being so cocky now!" Sakuragi's friend asked.

"Good! Last 6 minutes, come on!" Ayako-senpai yelled.

"Don't rush it everyone! We're still leading we just have to attack slow!" I heard Ryonan's captain shouted and his teammates agreed.

"As long as genius Sakuragi is here, we're going to be victorious!" Sakuragi shouted back. "Bring it on!"

Almost everyone in the gym is cheering for Ryonan.

"Rukawa Kaede!" I heard some girls cheering.

I found the source of the voices; it was the three girls that always cheer for Kaede-kun every practice. I feel kind of irritated, I don't know why.

"Up until now, Ryonan's ace has only 18 points, there's only 6 minutes left, Sendoh hasn't gotten enough points. Rukawa can actually match up to him, this is really surprising for me!"

"We're going to lose! But this year we can actually have a close game."

I heard the players talking and I decided to join their talk. I turned my head to them.

"Yeah, and there's more, last year onii-san got 47 points himself." I spoke.

"47 points?!" They exclaimed.

"Rukawa... he's the same as us a freshman... if I was there, I would've lost 82 points! He's good!"

"Go Rukawa!"

I look back to the court an I saw Kaede-kun getting tired. Onii-san has the ball, Kaede-kun is defending him. Onii-san got pass Kaede-kun and scored. I saw Kaede-kun fall backwards.

"Kaede-kun!" I yelled with worry.

"Rukawa!"

Ryonan cheered for onii-san successful shot and for Kaede-kun who is already tied and has a cramp. Yasuda-sempai assist Kaede-kun. The referee made his way to them.

"Need to make a substitute?" The referee asked.

"No, please wait..." Yasuda-senpai answered.

Sakuragi run toward them yelling. "Yasuda go away! What cramp! Useless! What cramp, this will do fine!" He kicked Yasuda-senpai away from Kaede-kun. "Weak!"

"Don't fool around Sakuragi! Rukawa's been defending Sendoh throughout the whole game, of course he'll be tired!" Kogure-senpai lectured while him and Yasuda-senpai stop him. "You just been on the court, of course you're full of energy!"

"Be quiet! I'm responsible for Shohoku's name, I can't tolerate having him disgracing our team!" Sakuragi argued.

"When did he became responsible for Shohoku?!" Ayako-senpai exclaimed.

"Who is he talking about? I definitely know that he is not talking about himself." I added to Ayako-senpai's statement.

"Don't mind him! He's just a bit cocky..." Noma said.

"Hey Gramps! Change people! Rukawa can't make it – " Sakuragi's statement was cut when someone kicked him in the back. "Huh?!"

"Who said I can't go on?" Kaede-kun said who is now standing with his hand in his hip.

"You, ah! It's you!" Sakuragi exclaimed while facing Kaede-kun.

"Shut up! I just fell that's all!" Kaede-kun stated.

Kogure-senpai and the others are starting to get worried the two might start to argue again. Kaede-kun made his way to the referee.

"No need to change, continue on with the game!" Kaede-kun said.

Ryonan players was shocked about Kaede-kun did. Game continued and Shohoku has the ball.

"If you drag me down, we're going to make a substitute!" Sakuragi yelled at Rukawa while running to the other side of the court.

"You should get off the court before they discover your weakness." Kaede-kun replied.

"Shut up! A genius like me doesn't have any!" He yelled back.

"Really?" Kaede-kun asked.

Sakuragi has the ball, Kaede-kun now face to face with him.

"I won't give it to you!" Sakuragi shouted and passes it to Yasuda-sempai.

"I don't want it!" Kaede-kun yelled back.

Yasuda-senpai shoots.

"I can get it myself?!" Kaede-kun said, unsure if the ball will go in.

The ball bounces out of the rim. Kaede-kun jumps and caught the ball.

And Kaede-kun shoots and scored.

"Off the boards... Great catch!"

"Nice shoot Kaede-kun!" I cheered.
