"Go! Don't let them get ahead of us!"

Shohoku players' cheer.

"Damn! Such perseverance!"

"That Rukawa was supposed to be tired! But, don't know where all that strength is coming from!"

"Did he really just graduate from junior high school?!"

"He's already got 19 points!"

"He's like Shohoku's top man!"

I heard Ryonan's players exclaimed.

I looked back at the court I saw Kaede-kun and onii-san facing and glaring each other.

'Uh-oh I think they hate each other.' I thought with worry expression.

Ryonan shoots the ball.

"Rebound!" Ayako-senpai and I yelled.

The ball bounces at the rim and onii-san got the rebound and scored.

Ryonan cheered. Current score is 72-67 in Ryonan's favor.

Shohoku has the ball, they shoot but it bounces to the board. Onii-san, Uozumi, and Koshino are trying to get the rebound. Uozumi succeeded.

"Defense!" Kogure-senpai yelled and run toward the other side of the court.

Last five minutes before the game is over.

"Y/n-chan have you taken notes about this match? Can I borrow your notebook for a sec.?" Ayako-senpai asked.

"Yeah, I did take notes, here you go." I answered and gave her my notebook.

She flipped through the pages.

"Ryonan number 4 Uozumi 202cm, number 7 Sendoh 192cm, number 6 Koshino 183cm... No matter what, it's very hard for Sakuragi Hanamichi to replace Akagi-senpai..." Ayako-senpai murmured while analyzing my notes. "Compared to our number 10 Sakuragi 183cm, number 11 Rukawa 187cm, number 5 Kogure 178cm! And Rukawa is getting really tired."

I put my attention back to the game, I saw Ryonan shoots the ball. Uozumi and onii-san jump to get the rebound.

"Rebound!" Ayako-senpai yelled.

And then we saw, Sakuragi jumps to get the rebound and he succeeded.

Sakuragi landed on his feet when Koshino is trying to steal the ball.

"I've got it." He proudly said and looked at Sakuragi.

Sakuragi got pissed and shoved the ball away from Koshino's grasp. Koshino landed on Uozumi's stomach.

Everyone is impressed on what Sakuragi just pulled off. The referee said that Koshino and Sakuragi should do a jump ball to decide who gets the ball.

"Good! Last 5 minutes! We've got to catch up!" Kogure-senpai said with the ball in his hand.

"HAHAHAHAHA! You don't have to wait any longer!" I heard Sakuragi shouted. "There's Sakuragi, the rebound king! We'll beat them soon enough!"

Yasuda-senpai passes the ball to Sakuragi, the ball hit his face, luckily Kogure-senpai was there to catch the ball.

"Sakuragi!" Kogure-senpai called. "We are having a game here! Don't get distracted!"

"Okay... I know." Sakuragi murmured.

Kogure-senpai shoots the ball.

"Sakuragi! Rebound!" Kogure-senpai called.

Uozumi gets in front of Sakuragi blocking him from getting a rebound. The ball bounces of the rim and Uozumi got the ball. Shohoku runs to the other side to defend. Ryonan shoots.

"There it is! Sakuragi Hanamichi!" Ayako-senpai yelled.

"Rebound!" I yelled.

Uozumi got in front of Sakuragi, Uozumi got the rebound and dunk the ball. Ryonan cheered, current score is 74-67 in favor of Ryonan.

"There's only 4 minutes left!"

"7-point difference!"

"At a time like this, with thus difference of score... It's already decided who's going to win!"

Shohoku has the ball, Yasuda-senpai shoots.

"Good! Rebound!" Kogure-senpai yelled. "Sakuragi, get it!"

"I got it!" Sakuragi yelled back.

Fortunately for Shohoku, the ball went in.

"It went in!" Yasuda-senpai cheered. "Yes!"

"Good! Good shit Shiozaki! Beautiful!" Kogure-senpai praised.

Current score, 74-70 to Ryonan.

"It was a three-pointer!"

"4-point difference! It's still hard to say who's going to win!"

"Calm down and attack again. Don't worry everybody." Onii-san speech. "Now... Shall we continue?"

Ryonan players agreed in onii-san's speech.

"Shohoku defense!"

"Defense!"

The players beside me shouted.

"Everybody, take their position!" Kogure-senpai instructed. "We have to stop them from scoring!"

Ryonan shoot the ball but hit the board.

"Rebound!" Senpai yelled.

Uozumi got in front of Sakuragi to get the rebound. Kogure-sempai notice.

"Screen out, Sakuragi!" Kogure-senpai shouted at him.

Sakuragi looked confused.

'What-wait! He doesn't know what screen out means?!' I panicked.

"This is one of the basics!" Takoa-sensei yelled in joy and stood up from hi sit. "Basketball isn't all that simple you know!"

"Shut up!" Sakuragi yelled at the coach.

Uozumi got the rebound and dunk it.

"You are wrong!" Someone shouted.

As gym door opened to revile Akagi-senpai with Haruko-chan.

"Stupid! You call that a rebound?" Akagi-sempai added.
