Every wall caves in. A full heart, never knowing that it existed until broken. Until missing the other half. Such pain, that felt beyond physical. An ache that you would wish only harmed your withering skin. Betrayed. When does the body become so disgusting to feel, see, and be? Touched by a lover, so deliciously wicked hands on a craving body, a needy heart.
Connected the blood sucker once said. Connected by mark. Lies! More chained than connected. Chained by mark. Chained to an everlasting pain from the heart breaker. The monster. The blood reaper. Preying on those who are weak. Feeding on the innocent. Leaving them to rot with the flowing blood surrounding their useless body.
"You can't keep laying in bed, Jungkook. You are still a king. The king." Jimin told him. His voice only fades in and out of Jungkooks mind. What did he say again? Things will get better? Like hell. When? Things sure as hell weren't better now. "Jungkook, please.."
Jungkook realised something. His mind spun in circles trying to figure out what exactly he was doing right now. Why had he slept all day? Why did he allow his heart to ache in such a way? "Just leave me alone for a while....okay?"
"Jun-"
"Please....." He weakly begs. The last months without Taehyung left a sore, gaping hole in his heart. A hole so deep, he felt as if no one could fill. But, time was passing. No longer could he wait it out, and hope that the vampire would just show up. No longer could he cry. People in the kingdom were beginning to get suspicious, his cold, and detached actions didn't help. Jungkook had to get over this, he had to move on. He had a kingdom to take care of. If he didn't do as required, it would have been so pointless to let Taehyung leave without him.
Jimin let out a soft sigh. Arguing with Jungkook wouldn't help, he'd give the king another lazy day. "Okay....okay..."
With that, Jungkook turned over in the cozy sheets, still somehow leaving a space for Taehyung, out of habit. The thought saddens the king deeply, lately his heart craves for almost anything.

"But, you have to promise to be down with me for dinner!" Jimin demands. He hears a groan in response and can already figure out what the king will say.
Jungkook groaned, turning round and round in bed. Damn that annoying bastard always trying to get him active. He wanted to wither away in his own sadness, why couldn't Jimin understand? He started to feel smothered by Jimins motherly pestering.
"The mai-"
"The maids aren't bringing your dinner."
"Why ca-"
"I won't bring your dinner either!"
Jungkook pouts and huffs. He throws the blanket off his feet, despite the sudden drop in temperature. It was winter already? He hadn't noticed. Months flew faster by without him noticing. Was this how it felt to hibernate? But, the reverse seasons. He supposed bears wouldn't wake during winter. Or at least he thought so. He only ever read so in books, never going outside really to understand the world beyond his kingdom.
"Well I-"
"I'm not letting you starve."
The king has a small temper tantrum, folding his arms in disagreement. For a small fraction of a second, Jimin could almost see the old Jungkook again. "Jiminnnn~" He whined.
"Jungkoooook~" Jimin mocked.
"Seriously?"
"Dead serious."
"Stop glaring at me and let me dress you."
The young king turns his head with a small huff, continuously pouting. Maybe, he was overreacting. Getting dressed up in beautiful silk after so long wasn't so bad. The king actually longed for it's soft touch against his skin, just as Taehyungs hands. The small details, that came together to make a wondrous pattern, just like Taehyungs eyes. Thin strings that wrapped snuggly around his hips, as Taehyungs arm would. Only thing he could ever think of was the vampires treacherous name. "Why are you making me wear this?"
"There are some guests today. They came to see you, from across the country." Jimin answers.
"Nooo~ Jimin!" Jungkook whines. Not more people! New guests?! Why hadn't Jimin have just sent them home? He wasn't ready for deals and such. Other royals were such a pain! He barely managed to slip by mate courtings, now more snobbish royals? He would faint. "I thought you said only us!"

"Sorry! It was the only way I would have gotten you to leave that rotting room..."
Jungkook gasps, seemingly offended. "Traitor!" He snatched the string away from Jimins fingers to tie the rope himself. Turing his back to his best friend just to look back at the other. "Also, My room is not rotting!"
"It is."
"Is not!"
"Is!"
"Not!" Jungkook watches closely to see if Jimin would retaliate. Squinting his eyes in suspicion. He held the pillow in his hands tightly, and ready to throw.
Jimin sighs and put his hands up in surrender.
"Yes!" Jungkook quietly cheers in victory. He dances around suddenly happy while tying the remaining string.
In some-many-ways, The young vampire was reminded of a small child when watching the king. It almost makes him sad, as Jungkook never really had a normal childhood. Not with such a demanding and neglectful father. He pictured Jungkook as a younger brother. "It is.." Jimin whispers.
A pillow goes flying across the room and smacked right into Jimins face.
"Hey! You do not want to pillow fight!" The young vampire threatens.
"Oh yes I do!"
"Are you forgetting my strength kookie? I will literally destroy you!"
"Pfff...That's nothing! I won against Tae-" Jungkook suddenly stops with the mention of Taehyung. His mood shifting immediately. "I-....your right im going to go..."
"Kook.."
"I'll see you for dinner.." He excuses himself and leaves the room in a hurry. Breathing heavily, he tries to calm himself. His heart beginning to ache again. Mind filled with Taehyungs name. The voices of the vampire driving him insane.
He leaves to get air outside, taking more deep breaths. The cold, chilling air surrounds him. It's been a long while since he had seen snow. The outside scenery was absolutely stunning. Dangerously quiet but, peaceful. He loved the rain as well but, there was something captivating about the silent falling of snow. The beautiful image of white.
"I can't hate you...and I want to..so bad. So much time has passed since I've seen you...felt you. Everything hurts so much. Does it hurt you as well?" He sobs clutching his chest once again. The mark stings. Sometimes he thought it was a sign from Taehyung. But, he knew it was impossible.
Nothing.
No sound.
No wind. It's too quiet. To many thoughts can consume him in the silence. The chill.
"JUNGKOOOK!!!"
His head snaps around. What could be happening now? At the scream of his bestfriesnd he sprints into action. Jimin hadn't screamed like that since that incident. The thought increases Jungkooks heartbeat.
When he reached Jimins horrified face covered in blood.
"What happened! Are you okay?!! JIMIN?!" Jungkook shakes Jimin, desperate for information. The young vampires hands shake, his eyes wide still in shock. "Please tell me!!"
"I-its...Lord Choi and his bitch!" Jimin snarls.
Jungkooks brows furrow and he looks down at the dead bodies. None of them were human. He could tell by the numbers. The numbers? The numbers?!! "Jimin, why are there dead vampires who have the prisoner code on them? What are they doing here?"
"That's what I'm trying to tell you Jungkook!" He shakes his head in panic. He looks up at another vampire that comes running around the hall, in time he rushes Jungkook back to his room. Shushing the king, he breathes heavily. This was bad.
"Jimin?"
"He let all of the vampires out of the prison. They've found their way here."
"Why aren't they running free?! Why are they still here?! Jimin?!!!" Jungkook whispers in a panic as well. No. This can't be happening. This was horrible. What could he do? What the hell can he do?
"They're staying here to kill us Jungkook."
