《I Demand It | TAEKOOK✔》Into The Abyss

Jungkook felt terrified. His legs shook and his heart raced. Vampires were everywhere. Tearing flesh and gulping down on any human in sight. Hungry vampires. Starving blood suckers.
"Jimin.." he whined. His voice small like a child. The king was horrified with the image in his head. He was useless. How could he allow this to happen? To his kingdom. His own kingdom. An awful king, he was. A coward king. His kingdom is falling and he cradled behind his best friend, who is also a vampire.
"I'll protect you Jungkook. We have to leave." Jimin whispers. His eyes not looking at Jungkook but, scanning the area. He had to make sure everything was clear. Jungkooks home was no longer a safe place.
"Wait. Leave? What do you mean leave?"
"Leave here, Jungkook. There's nothing left. I'm sorry." Jimin pulls the young king along with him. He felt his friends sorrow. The frightened thoughts that strangled its way through Jungkooks mind. A lost and afraid little boy. All the young king has grown to know, was purely the kingdom. Becoming a king, not living as a child.
He remembered Jungkooks big doe young eyes when he-as a child-came to play with the boy. The confused look on the boy's face, as he didn't even know what fun could be; the meaning of play, the boy would ask. Such a sad, lonely little face. He remembered the joy and excitement on the boy's face after playing all day. Jimin decided to show the boy how fun a pillow fight was.
The competition in his big eyes. The spark of courage and strength.
He didn't like the look that Jungkook wore now. The boy shouldn't cowar to fear. That was not the Jungkook he knew.
"Where would I go?" Jungkook sighed. He shook his head in denial. Where could he even go? He's a king. The king of his home. Of Goldernia. The golden kingdom. Now in flames of bright red. Burning the structured wood and turning to a dark brown. His home. It was gone. It can't be. All his parents have worked for. Gone, in the hands of himself. Such a failure, he was to his parents. A shame.
"Hey, kookie. Don't start thinking stupid things. Yeah?"
Jungkook sighs.
What more could he do? He wished he weren't so useless. Nothing? Absolutely nothing? Not one thing could be done. Vampires destroyed the one place that was so called "protected land from the blood suckers". His father would spit on him now if he saw what became of them. All his people, torn apart infront of his eyes. Drained dry. Screaming for their king. For their savior. What good was he as a king? Maybe he should have burned in the fire with all of his father's secret letters. Like ashes.
"Hey! What did I say kook? Huh? Stop it." Jimin warns. He drags Jungkook along to an empty room. They were no longer exposed as in the hallways. They could wait here a while until he figured out what to do, or how to get them out.

"You should just leave me here. Let them have their revenge,"
"Shut up."
"Let'em toss my body around like a damn rag doll. Going back and forth, doing what they please to me."
"HEY!" Jimin shouts. He immideatly checks around to see if someone heard. He angrily turns back to Jungkook. "Don't say shit like that so easily. You don't fucking understand what that's like! Don't say that shit in front of me." He makes his point and ends aggressively, nearly making himself tear up. Remembering the horrid things those vampires did and were going to do to him. Never again.
"I'm sorry." Jungkook whispers. He felt ashamed of himself and awfully bad about the situation. He couldn't help but feel as if he deserved some sort of punishment for being such a weak king. "I'm just tired of being so fucking useless."
"You're not useless kookie. You're father expected too much of you at a young age. It's okay to mess up. You're human. Humans can make mistakes."
Jungkook tries to justify it. He tries hard to take in what Jimin had said. Nothing works. He still felt horrible. The grumbling empty void in his stomach kept growing with the screams and the heat of the flames against the wood. Humans don't sit and listen to hundreds of people being ripped apart. Humans shouldn't cowar in fear in the middle of a battle. A battle that they caused. Humans fight to the death not run from it.
"Jungkook. You have to understand that this is okay. It's sad to leave all those people to die but, that's just how it has to be." Jimin notices the way the king flinched at his honesty and blunt explanation. "You're human. Hey, hear me out." He saw Jungkook turn away with a scowl at the mention of being human. As if the word "human" were the equivalent of "weak".
He takes both hands and holds Jungkooks shoulders steady to face him. He steps the kings nose with a small "boop" and a growing smile. "When you're human, it's okay to run. It's okay to cowar from death. It's okay to be afraid of dying. Who wouldn't be afraid of death when there are so many ways but, one outcome? You can fear death, Jungkook. Afterall, humans only have one life." He offers another gentle smile. One with a hidden sadness. Maybe it was because he missed being human. Maybe it was simply of understanding the fear.
"But-"
"You are one person. A king. But, one person. What can you do to help all those people as a human, besides getting yourself killed as well?"
"My father always-"
Jungkook stops suddenly. He pauses and thinks hard. His father. Why did that ring bells in his head? What was his brain pushing to remember? What did it have to do with his father?
"The letters." He mumbles.
"What?" Jimin asks. What the hell was Jungkook talking about? He had to get this boy out of here before it drives Jungkook insane. It may have started already.

"The letters!"
"Shhhh!"
Jungkook coughs with a small "sorry". He continues to speak in a soft excited whisper. "My father burned all the letters before he died. He said they were to important to keep around for anyone's grasp. He told me once to always have backup."
"What are you on about? We seriously have to find a way out. We don't have time to search for burnt letters, kook."
"No! Not burnt. Sealed! Fresh letters. My father had to have made a few copies of letters he sent to others. Secret letters that could help us! He even stored maps of the kingdom. They were always hidden."
Jimin sighed. He folds his arms in disagreement. No good could come of staying in this kingdom any longer than necessary. Even his frozen heart told him things were off. All his senses went off in flares with warning signs. All bad ideas.
"Even if we do find that. What good could it do? What does that have to do with us leaving and not dying?"
Jungkook smiles brightly. "That's what I'm trying to tell you! The maps were hidden and most likely are stored in the same place with the letters. Maps of this kingdom Jimin! Secret tunnels! Passages to get us out without anyone even noticing!" He hops up using both hands to push himself. Springing up in happiness he smiles again. "Father died before telling me where they all were. But, I'm absolutely positive they exist."
"Okay then, lead the way, your highness." Jimin snorts.
Jungkook turns the knob of the door ever so slowly. Twisting until he hears a small click of the door. It opened with a gentle eerie creek. His heart pounded in his chest. Hands shaking and almost feeling the nausea boiling up from his nervousness. He turned to look at Jimin one last time who nodded him on.
"You first."
Jimin bursts out laughing. Shaking his head. "Okay, kookie. You're so cute." He ruffles Jungkooks hair through his little fingers. Sweetly chuckling at the cute king.
He reaches the knob almost fully opening the door before it bursts open and sends his body flying across the room. He smacks his head right against the concrete and darkness enveloped his vision. Soon he lay unconscious.
"Jimin!"
Jungkook feels the frieghtning fear reach him again. His hands and body shake and tremble. Snapping out of his gaze he then runs to get his friends but is yanked back.
"Where'ya goin' boy?"
A vampire. Oh no. This is bad. What could he do? Why was he so weak? Why can't he help his friend?
"Let go!!" He screams. Thrashing his arms around at the person holding him. Until he saw the mans eyes. His breathing picked up and heart raced. Jungkooks legs turned to jelly. Maybe, his heart had stopped instead. He couldn't get the look out of his head. Terrifying. Awful. Horrid. Dark, matte black abyss looking eyes. Deep abyss. He might have pissed his pants.
"What's wrong love? Scared?" The scary, creepy guy chuckles eerily loud. He laughs in Jungkooks face increasing the young kings fear. The man smiles as if he could almost feel Jungkooks fear if he didn't already feel the other trembling. "Oh? You smell almost familiar. What's this? A mark?!" He pretends to gasp.
"Stop touching me you fucking blood sucker!!" Jungkook hisses. He rips his head away from the odd mans dirty hands. Trying to cover the mark, he ducks his head down at a weird angle.
The vampire was crazy. Hysterically laughing and creepily sniffing Jungkook. He looked dazed. Ragged clothes. A tag prominent. Another starved vamp. He growls and then chuckles. Shaking and eyes rolling at the smell of Jungkooks blood.
"You smell so good. But, that stinking mark covers up your wonderful scent! Whoever did this didn't want to share. Set a warning all over your pathetic human body." He runs his tongue over Jungkooks neck, groaning at the thump increasing from Jungkooks heart. The blood flowing in those beautiful veins. "Too bad, I'm way too hungry to care." His eyes swirl darker and cover the whites left over in his eyes. Now fully empty, dark matte black.
Jungkook snaps at the mans hand. He kicks his legs up simultaneously to reach the vampires precious area. He may be a vampire but, it will still hurt like a bitch.
"Arghh! You little bitch!" The vampire growls while throwing Jungkook off.
"A-ack! Ah.." Jungkook whimpers. He felt the blood rush to his head in a throbbing pain. Before he could get up the vampire's foot reached his stomach with a powerful kick. "AHHCK!!" He screamed in pain. Everything hurt so bad.
"Your scent fills the room. It smells delicious. But, you're too mouthy. So I'll feed from your dead flesh instead. Your blood will still be warm minutes after your death." The vampire snags Jungkooks hair aggressively. He wraps a hand around the human's throat and squeezes tightly.
Jungkook shakes and tries gasping for hair. He panics and thrashed around again. He couldn't breathe. This was how he'd die. This was how he would pay. He felt the life slipping from him and the world filling with darkness. Taehyung. I'm sorry.
He could breathe.
His eyes slowly opened to the vampire trembling. The walls crackled and the room dropped in temperature by several degrees. The floor began to shake and he could almost feel the evil filling the room. Cries and begs entered his ears but, he couldn't make out who it came from. Disgusting awful cracks and snaps were then heard and suddenly silence.
He looked up and a strange man reached his eye sight. He whispered something Jungkook couldn't understand. Everything went dark again but, seconds before his eyes closed he saw someone familiar. Someone who warmed his heart immideatly. He felt secure. Safe.
Taehyung.
