(Y/n)'s P.O.V.
The second floor was just as strange-looking as the first. I began to walk through the halls, finding myself in front of a room marked, "POOL." Assuming this was what it was labeled, I opened the doors.
Of course, I found none other than the Ultimate Swimming Pro herself, Aoi Asahina, bouncing around the room in excitement. She chanted, "there's a pool! Pool! Pool!" as she continued to prance around the room. I let out a small chuckle, looking past the others in the room and at the doors placed behind them.
There was a pink door and a blue door, each labeled either "boys" or "girls." Between the two of those doors was a machine gun placed on the ceiling. I shuddered before walking up to the girls' locker room door. I noticed a small scanner next to the door as well as the door being locked.
"You need your handbook to get in, silly!" someone chirped behind me. That someone was, of course, Monokuma himself. Hina let out a small squeal in either fear or surprise, perhaps both. Sakura and Chihiro, who were also in the room, also gave the same reaction. Monokuma simply giggled.
"In order to get into the locker rooms, you gotta scan your e-Handbook on the scanner by the door! Of course, to ensure security within each locker room, only a boy's handbook can open the boys' locker room and same for the girls! If anyone tries to sneak into the opposite locker room..." Monokuma paused, turning to the machine gun on the wall and pointing to it. "That gun right there will blow you to pieces!"
"What if someone borrows someone else's handbook and uses that to get in?" I questioned.
"Ah! I didn't think about that! I'll make a new rule then. It is now prohibited to loan your e-Handbook to someone else!" Monokuma announced as he typed down the new rule onto some sort of tablet he had. "Done; the new rule is official! That should stop any of you perverted weirdos from getting in!"
I rolled my eyes and turned my head to the side as Monokuma did a small dance in celebration. "Well! I should get going now! See ya!" Monokuma laughed as he left the room. He has a strange habit of appearing and leaving just as quick...maybe he's just busy, he's the headmaster afterall.

Hina let out a loud sigh and turned to Sakura and Chihiro, rambling about how Monokuma ruined her mood and how she was craving donuts. I walk past them and leave the room to explore the rest of the second floor.
As I was walking through the quiet halls, the sound of shoes clicking against the tile floor echoed. Just as I was about to turn my head, someone wrapped their arms around me and pulled me into an embrace from behind.
"Get off me!" I shouted as I attempted to shove the person off me. The person let out a giggle, resting their chin atop my head and replying, "come on, (Y/n). Don't be so harsh, you know you love me~"
Recognizing the voice, I pushed Monokuma off of me and glared at him. He already returned so soon after leaving from the other room?
He landed harshly on the ground, letting out a grunt of pain. "Ouch...you're so mean," he mumbled, pouting as he slowly stood up. "You're lucky that you're my favorite or else you would have been dead already for violating school rules!"
"Why am I even your favorite? I violated rules, you should just kill me; it's only fair," I stated. I crossed my arms and continued to stare at the annoying boy. Monokuma frowned and slowly leaned closer, staring directly into my (e/c) eyes.
"What would be the fun in letting you die, huh? I can tell you are interesting, (Y/n). I am not letting you die...yet at least."
I gulped as Monokuma's nose grazed mine. He glanced down and grabbed my hand tightly, pulling my hand to rest onto his cheek. He looked back at me with a smirk adorning his face. I could feel my face slowly grow warmer as more time passed in that position.
"Hey, (Y/n)?" Monokuma whispered. "Am I your favorite too?"
I didn't have an answer to his question. Favorite? How would he even be close to being my favorite? Of course, if I were to have a favorite, it would be Junko; but now that's she's passed...I'm not so sure.
After I didn't give him an answer, Monokuma sighed and backed away from me. A casual smile was plastered onto his face as he said, "anyways, you need to explore the rest of this floor, right?" I nodded in response. "Great! Then let me come with you, I'm bored."

Monokuma had brushed off everything that had just happened. I roll my eyes and start walking away, replying, "no. I want to stay far away from you."
"Please (Y/n)?"
"No."
"Please?"
"I already said no."
"Please?"
"No."
"Please, please, please, please, please, please, please-"
"I said no!"
"-Please, please, please, please, please, please, please-"
"Alright, alright! Just shut up!"
"Yay!" Monokuma shouted as he threw his hands up in cheer. I shook my head and let out a sigh. I really didn't want to be near him after all he has done, but he wouldn't leave me alone either way.
The rest of exploring the second floor was spent with wondering around with Monokuma following me. He was oddly quiet, though I didn't mind it, it was out of character for the boy. It was almost like he had something on his mind and I almost didn't want to ask what was wrong. I don't know exactly why, but I asked him anyways.
"You've been weirdly quiet; is there something the matter?" I questioned Monokuma. I turned my head and looked over my shoulder at him. At first he seemed a bit surprised, but a smirk soon replaced that expression.
"Aww, you care about my well-being? How adorable!" Monokuma squealed. I sighed. "That's not what I said. I was wondering why you are being so quiet. It's...weird."
Monokuma laughed a bit, hugging me tightly. I let out an irritated groan as he continued to squeeze me tightly. "Don't you worry about it, (Y/n)! I was just thinking about how cute you were~"
My face warmed up a bit as I shoved him off of me. "S-Stop saying stuff like that!"
"Aww, does it make you all embarrassed?~" Monokuma laughed and booped my nose. "Aren't you adorable?"
I swatted his hand away. Monokuma laughed a bit more before clearing his throat. "I gotta go! Got some business to attend to, ya know? See ya!" Monokuma spoke, turning away from me and scurrying down the hall.
Oh how I hated how he walked away like that. He leaves so suddenly, not even leaving you with enough time to say goodbye. Although I really do wonder what was bothering him...it's obvious it's something.
"Hey, (Y/n)!"
I turned around to see Hina sprinting towards me, waving. She stopped in front of me and smiled. "Hey! We're all going to meet in the dining hall to talk about the new floor! Everyone asked me to let you know since you're one of the only ones left exploring."
Oh...thank you for letting me know," I responded, also giving her a small smile. Hina grinned and suggested, "alright! Let's head over there together!" I nodded in agreement.
Trailing behind Hina, I made my way to the dining hall to meet with the others.
Walking into the room and closing the door behind me, I was greeted with the mastermind seated in front of me. They greeted me with a grin; the grin wasn't friendly.
The screens displaying the cameras illuminated the room, no other form of light nearby. I gulped as the mastermind's grin turned into a frown. I smiled as a way to hide my slight unease.
"Hey, Monokuma," the mastermind spoke, crossing their legs. "I see you've been trying to hang out around (Y/n)."
"Yeah, of course I have! You already know-"
"Make sure you don't mess up the entire plan."
The mastermind got up and stepped over to me, continuing to walk closer until I hit a wall. They seemed to tower over me as they stared into my soul. They muttered, "if you mess up the plan, you already know what will happen. Do you really want that to happen?"
"N-No! Of course not, haha..." I mumbled as a reply. The mastermind chuckled and backed away. "Good. Anyways, nothing interesting is going on! We need to provide a new motive, asap! It's getting boring already, even though a punishment just happened..."
The mastermind sat back down in their chair, turning to face the cameras. They watched the camera systems and continued to talk about ideas for new motives. I shivered in slight fear. Although I agreed to work with them, I never realized how truly frightening they were until the killing game started.
A frown slowly formed on my face. I forgot I have to be more careful when I spend time with (Y/n).
That's what's been bothering me...I don't want to ruin the plan.
