She sighed as she slipped her phone into her pocket. She had P.E. after lunch. How did the school figure that one out?
•••
(Y/n) drummed her fingers on the desk. She came early to her class after lunch, Literature. It had been two days since she told RM to make a move, and he hadn't called back ever since.
Her eyes sweeped around the nearly empty class, landing on Kim Namjoon, her crush since sophomore year.
They had done a project that year, and he was cute, shy and smart. And before she knew it, she was looking for him in classes, smiling randomly whenever he was around, feeling nervous when he came near, etc. She knew she had fallen when she realised all that.
Biting her lip, she remembered what she had told RM. To RM, she was somebody who had answers and advices to all his questions. In real life, she needed to take her own advice. She sighed.
If she couldn't do it herself, who was she to tell RM? She had to do what she told him to. So, she mustered up her courage and walked up to the dark-haired boy who was reading a book.
She cleared her throat and he looked up. She could see the shock in his eyes. She gave him a smile.
"Um, hey, Namjoon, right?" She asked, trying to show as if she didn't know much about him. He didn't reply, which got her even more nervous. "Um, are you okay?"
"O- Oh, uh, yeah," he blinked hard, as if she wasn't real. "I just, you, uh, you know my name?"
"Of course," she said as smoothly as she could. "We did a project together in sophomore year, yeah?"
"Y- Yeah, I remember," he replied quickly. "Uh, (y/n), right?"

Now she was surprised. She tried not to grin and forged it into a wide smile.
"Yeah!" She said, trying not to let him know how happy that made her.
"So, um, what is it?" He asked, trying to make sense why she was actually talking to him.
"Oh, I just wanted to ask you, uhm, which book you were reading," she said, trying to follow her own advice. "I wanted some book recommendations, and I have seen you read books, so yeah."
She rubbed the nape of her neck. Namjoon snapped shut the book in his hands.
"I'm reading Demian," he said to her, feeling at home with the talk of books. "It's a coming-of-age story, kinda confusing, but it's good."
Before she could reply, a hand tapped her on the shoulder. She turned to see her best friend standing there, arms crossed across her chest.
"Oh hey," she gave her a smile. "I'll, I'll introduce you two... Wait, I don't need to. You were with us in our project too!"
Namjoon nodded quickly. "Yeah, Ji-soo, right?"
"Yeah," she gave him a small smile. "And you're... Namjoon, I think?"
"Yeah," he nodded. (Y/n) bit her lip.
"What are you doing here?" Ji-soo asked her.
"Oh, we were discussing the book in his hand," she replied to her best friend. Namjoon just smiled at Ji-soo.
"Oh, okay," she said, looking down at the book. "Which one is it? I love books too."
That was one of the main reasons why they became best friends. Namjoon told her about Demian too.
"Hm, it sounds interesting," Ji-soo read the summary on the backside. (Y/n), who was reading over her shoulder, nodded.
"Yeah, but I don't think it's my type," (y/n) said. Ji-soo nodded.
"Yeah, me neither," she said, giving the book back. "It's a pity."
"Yeah, do you know any other book?" (Y/n) asked him. "Like, one with easy words and nothing too deep into religious stuff?"
Before Namjoon could reply, the bell rang and the two girls told him they would speak later and went back to their seats as class began.

They aren’t calling me the demon lord for no reason. I suppose I’ll just shoot the victim and be done with it. ——————————————————————————————— Reading Order of the Multiverse-Books ——————————————————————————————— Author's Comment: If you find mistakes, pls tell, thx. I don't like mistakes.[/window] Author's Comment: I was asked about reading my work on other sites. The answer is simple: Currently, I am not active in any other networks than royalroadl.com. Only here, I correct mistakes and errors. If you read it anywhere else and have to pay for it or have to deal with an annoying amount of advertisement, You Are Being Betrayed. You would do good if you make other people in that network aware of it. This is a free project of mine for the purpose of having fun. And if people try to make money with it you shouldn't bother visiting their website. I have no problem with translation and reposting of the story, as long as the person in question isn't doing it for money or stealing my identity. The only one whom I actually allowed to have my work on his website is Armaell who invested the time to compile them into pdf. (http://armaell-library.net/author/andur)
