"I swear, Kim Namjoon, if you don't come out now, I am leaving without you!" (Y/n) said loudly. Said boy rushed out of his bedroom, trying to tie his tie in time but failed to do so and nearly crashed into her.
"Sorry," he said, flustered. She shook her head and grabbed him by the collar, making him go still. She tied the tie around his neck.
"I must have shown you three times by now," she said humourously. "Why can't you remember?"
"I don't know," he said stiffly. She finished tying it and patted on it for extra measure. "Thanks."
"Now come on, we need to go," she said, turning around. "I must say, it's hard to believe that we are going to graduate next year."
"Yeah, me too," Namjoon said, as the two locked the house and started walking to their school. "When does the ceremony start?"
"In about fifteen minutes," she replied, looking at her watch. "Hurry. We don't want to miss Jin-oppa and Yoongi-oppa leaving."
"You don't call me oppa," Namjoon said pointedly as they jogged the rest of the way. She gave him a pointed look.
"Do you want me to?"
"I mean, I wouldn't mind.."
"Alright then, Namjoon-oppa," she said teasingly. He blushed heavily at that and looked away. "See? I can't afford it. Jin-oppa and Yoongi-oppa don't blush so adorably when I call them that."
"I'm not adorable," he mumbled as they reached the gate. They slowed down the pace and walked quickly to the stage set-up where graduating students were seated and were talking to each other. They found Yoongi and Jin talking to each other in the third row. Jin gave them a wave and Yoongi nodded in acknowledgement.

Namjoon and (y/n) walked to the seats behind them, where other students, friends and family were standing. Ji-soo waved excitedly to them and the two walked over to her.
"I'm so excited!!" She squealed. "Also, a bit worried. What if Jin-oppa finds better girls in college?"
"Ji-soo, Jin-hyung is a dedicated boyfriend," Namjoon reminded her. "He wouldn't. Don't worry. Just hold on for one year, then I am going to the same college. I'll keep an eye on him for you."
"That would be nice, but I should inform Yoongi-oppa," she said thoughtfully.
"Oh yeah, where's Jimin-ah?" (Y/n) asked, looking around.
"He's coming with Taekook," Ji-soo said. The two took their seats beside her. Five minutes later, the three boys appeared and took their seats too.
"Hey guys!" Hoseok appeared with his sunlit smile. He took a seat beside Ji-soo as well. He was still single, but he proudly called himself the 'wingman in proposal'... whatever that meant.
The ceremony started soon after and Jin and Yoongi got their certificates while their achievements were being told. The seven of their friends cheered loudly and the two couldn't help but smile widely.
"I don't want to leave you all," Jin said pouting, when the ceremony ended. "I'm going to miss you!"
"So are we, Jin-hyung/Jin-oppa!" The rest quickly replied in chorus. Yoongi grunted.
"I don't have even a year of silence," he mumbled. "Hyung will probably bite my head off all year. Good luck to me."
Some laughed while others told him he shouldn't be so insensitive to Jin right now. But they all knew Yoongi was going to miss them too. So without him asking for it, they all gave him a hug.
They gave a hug to Jin too, who happily hugged everyone back. The last one to hug was Ji-soo and they started talking with each other. Jimin and Yoongi were talking too. (Y/n) turned to Namjoon with a grin.
"Well, that's going to be us next year," she said, pulling out her phone from her pocket. "I am thinking of leaving the club, Joonie. It's senior year, I can't spend time in the club now."
"Well, it's your choice," he said, trapping her in his embrace, giving her a peck on her forehead. "But I am glad you were in the club. You will always be my hotline girl."

World Story: Biographies of Extraordinary People
Important note: I’d like to thank Dr. Buller for their advice on dialogue by their critical review. And I’m on a one-month break to post the first revised chapters on Scribble Hub. Please stay tuned! Even in faraway worlds, every folk had a story, and monsters came in numerous shapes and sizes. However, heroes never existed in this otherworld. Even the most idealistic understood this deep within. But as they abandoned their humanity at times, they quickly regained it. It was not that they became human again. They always were. So what happened when the monster devoid of humanity appeared? Well, the “heroes” sought to slay it at all costs either way, lest it would be the end of their stories. A portal/isekai fantasy that I wanted to deconstruct some elements within. Expect a whole ton of references and dialogue because I’ll deliberately write it more like a light novel. The last thing to consider is that Japanese names in my novel will come with kanji/hiragana characters within parentheses. The same goes for any other derived from non-Latin writing systems. It’s because none of the names I write will be accidental or random. They’ll all have meaning. New chapters Monday to Thursday at 11:00 PM (GMT+8), though sometimes I can’t. Credit for the cover art goes to HWPerfidy. She’s a freelance artist on this site, and I’d love anyone who shows her support.
