《Remember | Tokyo revengers》「22」- The dinner

Shiba residence.
"Out of all the days..." Yuzuha whispered so quietly to herself as the happy and peaceful atmosphere that was there in the beginning disappeared the moment a certain figure comes and ruins it.
"There's no left over..." Yuzuha states as a cold sweat runs down on her face. "I'll cook something real quick." She adds while standing up from her seat, clearly uneasy especially for the two guests; [Y/n] and Akio because of their safety.
The poor little kid felt like crying because of how scary the male looked, especially with his huge build that just added to his already intimidating feature.
"No, not you." Taiju tells her which caused for the girl to halt in her steps instantly and give a quizzical look just like Hakkai.
"You." He points at the [h/c] girl. Everyone stared at the female Taiju was pointing his finger and staring at. "Go cook something for me."
"Me?" [Y/n]'s expression almost grimaced due to his commanding tone. 'You don't tell your guest to cook for you, dumbass!'
Taiju scoffed. "Yeah, you." He remarked. "There's no one else sitting on that chair but you." The man glowered but his expression went specially dark and scary when he got a good look at [Y/n]'s state.
"You're damn weak." He blurted out as he suddenly felt his blood boil. "Pathetic even."
[Y/n] frowned and was speechless at what she heard. Though, even though she's angry, there's a part of her that can't help but agree.
"Whatever." Taiju huffs and turns around. "I'm sleeping."
"...I don't have to cook for you anymore?" The female asked while giving a skeptical look.
Taiju stops. "I know you're only stupid, so since when did you went deaf." He replied quite harshly.
"Thanks to your ugly face I lost my appetite." After his snarky remark, he resumed his walk towards his room. Since he has his back for everyone to see, no one noticed the little smirk that crept on his face after he saw [Y/n]'s irked expression.
"How dare he call me ugly and stupid!" The female exclaimed in anger when Taiju was completely out of everyone's sight.
"I almost shouted at him for being hideous!" She huffed out of complete exasperation. But no matter how angry [Y/n] is at the moment, she still knows that what she said was a lie.
Of course she won't admit it out loud, specially when she's been called ugly and dumb at the same time...

"C-Calm down." Yuzuha tells the fuming girl. "He might hear you."
Hakkai silently nods his head. "And it's not true anyways..." he mumbled then shyly looked at [Y/n] since she caught his attention. "You're beautiful 'n also smart."
Seconds of silence went by. The boy's face instantly went bright red as a tomato and Akio only looked at him with a smug face.
"Y-You girls go!" He shouted and almost let out a small squeak at first. "Me and Akio will take it from here."
Said boy nods his head with a confident and cute smile on his face. "Yep!"
Both girls nodded their heads after contemplating about it for a moment. "Woah, I think that's the first time Kai spoke to me." [Y/n] whispered to Yuzuha after they started to walk away.
"Well, yes but actually no.." the brown haired replied and sweat dropped.
Afternoon.
"Stay for dinner." Taiju told the [L/n] siblings when they were about to get ready to leave. "But you do the cooking."
"Huh?" In a slightly deep tone she let out with a dumbfounded look on her face.
"Cook whatever as long as it's edible." He adds and before the female could even say a remark, the tall man went back upstairs, straight to his room.
A vein pops up on [Y/n]'s face. "That! Why's he doing this to me? The frick his problem, huh?! He effin' does whatever the flipping..!" The female huffs.
She tried really hard not to curse in front of her little brother and luckily she did. That's why the teen stopped because if she utter another more word, she's afraid that she might really go for it...
"Should I put rat poison in his food?" She muttered to herself darkly then shook her head. "My patience's not usually this short or thin.." she heaved.
"Ah, whatever." [Y/n] groaned after ruffling her hair and running her hand through it.
"That's how he usually is when you're here." Yuzuha sighs then glanced at her. "I don't know why but he gets into a good mood and that means we won't...Hakkai and I are happy, too." she trailed and paused while looking somewhat melancholic.
"But I have to admit that I feel a little..." the expression that was on the girl's face disappeared quickly when she heard her friend's voice.
"Hm?" [Y/n] slightly tilted her head. "Were you saying something, Yuzuha??" She asked with curiosity written in her eyes.

Yuzuha flashed smiled. "I was just wondering on what kind of delicious food you'll make." She replied, not realizing that her brother was staring as he was the only one who heard what she's been muttering.
'Jealous...' Hakkai thought before glancing at the [h/c] teen. 'Yuzuha's jealous 'cuz big bro keeps taking [Y/n]'s attention.'
"Now I feel motivated to cook." [Y/n] instantly said making her friend to laugh softly. "If you have any suggestions be sure to tell me."
Hakkai averted eye contact when the [h/c] girl looked at him. He felt his cheeks heating up but still managed to keep a blank expression and played it cool.
"Tempura!" Akio enthusiastically said with a cheery smile making his older sister to do the same.
"Alright." She replied to the boy while patting his head. "You two don't have to help me with dinner, so please just play with Akio since he missed you both dearly."
[Y/n] smiled at her two friends. "Well, you guys know where to find me." She hummed. "Akio, don't cause trouble."
Said boy raised his hand and saluted. "Roger!" The female snorts then walked towards the kitchen and started to prepare the ingredients she needed.
It was a strange feeling. Her body just moved as it knew exactly where everything was...well, at least she won't have to bother one of the Shiba siblings with questions about where a certain thing is.
...
"Aaand, done." [Y/n] let out a sigh of relief as the food she's been cooking was finally done and ready to fill everyone's stomach.
"Turtle." A deep voice said from behind her while a hand reached out to grab a tempura. "You're damn slow. I'm fuckin' hungry." Taiju said while chomping the shrimp whole.
[Y/n] looked behind. "Woah." She let out. "You have nice pecs.." she blurted when her back was against the man's chest.
"What?" Taiju asked with narrowed eyes while the girl thinks about what she said which took about a few seconds of processing it.
She let out fake coughs after turning away from the food when she realized what her mouth just let out.
The tall male stared at first and when you look at him closely, there was a glint of amusement in his eyes.
"Yuzuha, Hakkai! Dinner." He shouted while [Y/n] regains her posture and scolds herself as the other two Shiba siblings arrived shortly with Akio next to them.
The dinner was quiet. The atmosphere felt suffocating and they felt like having an indigestion, except for two people.
Taiju's just been eating, clearly enjoying his meal just like Akio. Yuzuha and Hakkai tried their best not to let the man bother them, even their appetite since their friend cooked the delicious food all by herself.
It's a waste not to enjoy or savor them at the very least.
"I'll help..." [Y/n] stops when Hakkai took the stack of plates away from her hands so swiftly and she could only stare at him blankly.
Dinner was over in a flash and now they're cleaning the table, to be exact Yuzuha and Hakkai are both doing it while Taiju went somewhere in the house.
"You've already done the cooking so it's only right that we do this." Yuzuha told her whilst in the middle of washing the plates on the sink.
"Sorry, even though we made you come here for lunch to eat as guests...you ended up staying and making dinner for us." She apologized, obviously on her older brother's behalf despite knowing that she doesn't have to.
Hakkai even nodded his head as a sign of agreement with a sheepish look on his face just like his sister.
"It's alright." [Y/n] smiled to assure them. "And besides, I'm glad that you both enjoyed the food I cooked." She adds, her smiling widening when the blue haired boy was flustered.
"And, if we're blaming anyone, it's that jerk of a brother of yours." She whispered with narrowed eyes as a small huff came out of her next.
"Well, anyways. Is it alright if I walk around the place, only on this floor." [Y/n] asked the siblings.
"Yeah, should be fine." Yuzuha replied. "Do you want me to accompany you?"
"No, it's alright." The female beamed. "Surprisingly, I know my way around your home."
And that's how she came to remember what led her to this kind of situation.
[Y/n] was in the pool, struggling to put her head on the surface to breathe fresh air while she hears Akio shouting her name so desperately as he sobs.
But instead of wanting to be saved badly, all the young teen could think of was the sense of deja vu she felt when she stopped struggling under the water and stared at the bright light above it.

Surprisingly, in the fantasy LitRPG genre. A girls death forms the foundation for a plan centuries in the making. With only what she could take with her in her mind, and a new body with surprising depths, she begins her new life in a world unlike her own. This is my first writing project in almost a decade, so there is going to be a lot of improvements from me as I shake off the rust. And of course, as the world I'm creating comes to life! So if you like the concept, please bear with me, and hopefully I'll reach the high standards I know you have. Edit (04/04/2018): Witness the power of my complete lack of any artistic talent! There is now cover art for this fiction. Its just barely better than the default, but hey, minimalism is in, right?

It has been often described as an unusual place by a good deal of people on the mainland.
