Tommy engulfs Jordyn in a hug, he wipes the tears that were falling down her face and smile to her
"now we have to go back to school or else mother innit will kill me" he laughs making Jordyn snort
they get up and walk out of the room, leaving the apartment, and walk to the school. Walking through the doors, she sees Morgan leaning up against Tommys locker, Tommys eyes go wide and Jordyn slowly turns to him
"i think you forgot something" she smiles bitterly at him and he laughs nervously
"yeah about that" he switches between the two before speed walking to the stairs
"you have got to be kidding" Jordyn scoffs before looking towards Morgan pursing her lips
"yeah...this is gonna suuck" she mutters slowly walking towards Morgan
"Heyyyy Morgan" Jordyn smiles but Morgan just glares at her
"i thought you and Tommy hated each other?" she asks a grimace stuck on her face
"yeah about that, we made up! yaaay" she slowly does jazz hands but gulps and stands up straight
"Tommy admitted he had feelings for me, he said he only asked you out to make me jealous and wanted me to leave him alone, sorry it had to be said that way but it's the truth" Jordyn rambles and Morgan just sits there mouth agape.
Jordyn sucks air through her teeth "yeah... i'm gonna..i'm gonna go now" she points to the stairs and quickly makes her way up them. she walks through the class door and sees Tommy tapping his pencil on the desk with an open seat beside him, she makes her way to the seat and sits down

"it was so awkward, i felt like a mean girl!" she groans putting her head into her hands Tommy pats her back still trying to hold back his laughter, the teacher walks in and clears his throat
"books out, page 219" he passes around a worksheet and Jordyn slumps into her chair
after about 10 minutes of working she felt a jab at her shins
"motherfu-mm" she stops herself in a hushed tone she looks to her shin under the table but only sees a scratch on her shin and a piece of paper
"what the fuck Tommy you gave me a paper cut" she whisper yells to him but he just covers his mouth trying not to laugh
she grabs the paper and opens it

"why are you writing notes in my class?" he picks it up and Tommy gulps
"well you see sir this is just a big-" he reaches for the note but the teacher snatched it out of reach

"uh oh" Jordyn mumbles and they both look at each other
"Mr Simons and Miss Walker were passing notes, we all know what happens when you pass notes in my class" he glares at the sea of students making sure to last a couple seconds longer on the pair
Jordyn covers her mouth from trying not to laugh and so does Tommy
"L you got number 13 wrong moron" the teacher furrows his eyebrows and Jordyn and tommy look like their about to cry from laughter
"i copied off of joe, lemme tell him" the teacher sound audibly confused as there is no joe in the class
"who is joe?" he says before chuckling at the last note
"joe mama" he says and the class laughs, Tommy and Jordyn had tears in their eyes and the teacher shook his head
"very funny you two, get back to work please" she chuckles and everyone settles and goes back to their assignments
Tommy and jordan look at each other and smile before going back to what they were working on

I saw the advice about having foils for overpowered MCs, and I watched quite a few lectures on writing. I wanted to test things out for myself and see if I could carry a story through other ways than only relying on physical conflict like some thrillers do. Thus this might lean a bit towards slice of life with a romance subplot, but I don't want to give my story away so read it if u want to know more. This was basically never intended for anyone else's eyes but my own, and written to explore writing as a process. This wasn't my attempt at writing a good book, but it turned into something that I think might interest some people, so I decided to pop it up here. It is slightly old so my style and writing skills have advanced considerably since I first started this thing. Having said that, I think it's pretty readable, but I am very interested in how other people will receive this. Please feel free to criticize it and just in general shoot me some feedback on what you think. It contains light Litrpg elements, not heavy table spam, it's just the basis of the world. Although I like that sort of thing, this was written before I even knew of Royalroad and hadn't considered litrpg much. Some of you may recognize that it was slightly inspired by Overlord. Also, the Tags for sexual content and traumatizing content are there as a precaution on all of my stories pretty much, even if my story does not contain any of that at the moment. I can't really know what the future will bring, but in the case of this story I do know a little bit, since I wrote 100k words before posting it here. And I just posted it on a whim because I figured some readers on Royalroad might enjoy this story.
