I wish doubt wouldn't blind me of their love.

I wish I could feel comfort in the words of there affection,

Instead of discomfort in my own skin.

I wish I didn't feel guilty

when my heart tells me of their love

but my brain interrupts.

I wish i could accept something so precious

as easy as I give it.

that I wouldn't feel so alone in the love for myself,

than their love for me.

But I have come to believe that,

You can't find comfort in other people's love,

thinking they will tech you how to love yourself.

The only one who knows how to love you

is yourself.

sometimes it's best to find that in yourself

and not in someone else

I think it's important for people to know that

others can't to teach you how to love

and I think that trying to find solace in others before taking a step back

and knowing and you can find it in yourself,

is an amazing and relieving feeling
