we made it home with barely any talking. i was in the hot tub alone while he laid in bed. there was this awkward tension between us that i hated with all i had in me.

i sat on my phone talking about a release date with harris and katie. i wanted a few more music videos and we needed to do do a shoot for the cover as well

"what about my birthday? it's already early august, like today is the 5th. my birthday is september 23rd. that's a month and a half to do a shoot and work on another music video"

"i honestly love that idea" katie said and harris silently agreed. "i will talk to red hill later tonight to get it all figured out"

"do they still want a tour?" i asked

"yeah and honestly i think it would be good for you. just america and canada, then go to some places in the uk and asia" harris spoke

"you need to get out more often kayla" katie explained to me

"i like being home though" i said quietly

"we all do but you also need to go see your fans like you have always wanted to" katie said

"i know" luke walked out onto the balcony and looked at me. "hey can i call you guys back?"

"good night both of you" i said before hanging up and putting my phone on the side table

"hey" luke said leaning forward on the hot tub to face me. i gave him a soft smile

"hi" i choked out.

"who were you talking to?"

"katie and harris. we were talking about a release date since the album is done" i explained to luke

"got it" he said dryly. i hated us acting like this so i woke towards him and put my hands on his shoulder

he put a hand on my waist as it came out of the water. i smiled at him before kissing him and he kissed back.

"you should come to our room so i can prove to you that you are good enough" he whispered before kissing my neck

i woke up the next morning after punz to find him on his phone next to me. i put my head on his chest and he played with my hair

"album is coming out on my birthday and we need to have a shoot as soon as we get back so we have to book it" i explained while sitting up and fixing the shirt i was wearing

"mmm they still want you to go on tour?"

"sadly yes"

"why sadly?" he asked me

"i would have to be away from you and the animals for months"

he nodded at my answer. he put his hand on my thigh as i grabbed my phone and looked at the texts i had from the night before.

are happy with it. we have 2 weeks once
