"luke will you get me another dr pepper?" i asked him with a pouting face. he just kissed me before getting up to go get me a drink
"so how are things going with you two?" caro asked as we sat on the floor together while taylor swift played in the background
"good. we got into a couple arguments but they are resolved within minutes" i said picking at my nails
"are you guys okay?" caroline asked purely concerned
"yeah! just a lot going on in both of our lives"
caroline nodded as luke came back and handed me my drink. i thanked him as he sat in his chair. karl came over and sat in between caroline and i.
"congrats bestie" he said and i hugged him
"thank you bestie" i said back
"come on i need to talk to you" he said standing up. he reached down and i took it before standing up. "luke i'm stealing her for a minute. i will bring her back"
"you better" he said giving me a look of trust and love.
karl and i went into my writing room and i sat down on my stool and grabbed my guitar. he sat on the couch and looked at me
"i knew you needed a break. i don't know how no one else noticed" karl said as i started to strum the new song i wrote
"i don't know. just not feeling good and i'm so fucking tired" was all i said
"kay if you don't feel good then don't drink or have a party" he said as if it was obvious
"i'm not going to let everyone down" i said and he shook his head disappointed
"kayla" he started. "i'm not going to lie to you so don't lie to me. what is going on with you?"

"i don't know karl maybe the fact that my mom just died, i'm scared for this album to drop, and and umm never mind" i said looking away
"tell me kayla. please i can try to help you"
"karl what is my biggest fear?" i asked. he thought for a second then his guys got wide
"there is no way!" he yelled out happily.
"don't sound happy please. luke literally told me the night i found out that he doesn't think he is ready" i said looking down at my guitar
"he will understand. i mean he was the one who made it happy. right?" karl second guessed
"yes!" i yelled at him
"just making sure!" he exclaimed at me
"i'm done having this conversation-" i was cut off by the door swinging open
"luke and nick are fighting outside" weston said
i immediately got up and rushed downstairs and to the backyard. i found a small group of people that i had to push through.
"no fuck you. you don't accuse me of that shit" luke said through gritted teeth
"she was happier with me" nick said. i was scared to get in between all of it
"fuck you nick. you were the one who broke her heart" luke said pushing him slightly
"you are a dick to her" nick said
i watched as they shared more insults at each other about how they treated me, until nick said his final words
"she is a slut" and boom. luke's fist hit his jaw.
a tear fell down my cheek on impact. everyone gasped as nick fell to the ground.
"don't say that shit about the girl you broke up with for another girl" luke said before turning and making eye contact with me.
he just shook his head and pushed his way inside and went up to our room. i went inside to but went to my writing room and sat at my piano for once.

"party's over" i heard karl say from downstairs. i made sure to lock the door so no one came into the room. i played a few chords
"used to cry bout some crazy shit before. i used to feel so obligated to be so much more"
i kept playing the cords to the songs and singing softly until a knock was placed on the door. i took in a deep breath and walked to the door. when i opened it i saw luke
before i could close to he stopped it by his foot. i opened the door and looked at him
"what do you want?"

Azarinth Healer
A new world with nearly unlimited possibilities. A status, classes, magic and monsters. Sounds good? Well, for Ilea it didn't come quite as expected as for some other protagonists, nor was there a king or god to welcome her. The grand quest? Well, she might figure that out someday but for now, a new world with new food is prize enough. Her fists at the ready, she's prepared to punch and get punched, however long it takes and however many limbs she might have to regrow. A story I've started writing now quite a while ago. Transported to another world, somewhat standard fantasy setting with my beginner attempts to make it dark but funny. There are Litrpg elements here but I do hope it's not too heavy and annoying. The fights should be interesting and aren't just numbers vs numbers. Contrary to the title the protagonist will be quite an offensive fighter. Ilea Spears is your average sarcastic kick-boxing fast food worker and soon to be student. She will be transported to another world rather conventionally and will be confronted with survival in the wild. Give it a shot and let me know what you think. My experience is incredibly lacking. If you find yourself hating it early on, do convey your anger in a detailed comment or review :) I want to get better but without any feedback it's simply quite difficult. Quick heads up: Around chapter 120 there are a bunch of longer PoV changes that I discontinued again shortly after. The Arc around chapters 150-200 is darker than the rest and the themes shift quite a bit. Just know that it goes back to what you've come to know after that section. Thank you for reading. Quick update June 2019: Many complaints regarding the formatting, specifically spacing in conversations and of course the usage of the present tense in the first 36 chapters have been addressed. I'm of course learning by the day but compared to how it was before it should be an improvement at least. Chapters usually around 3k words Cover art by Kevin Catalan

Decay and Deception
One day you can be relaxing, the next you can be somewhere beyond reality struggling to survive. This is one such story, a story of pain, fear, and triumph. Join the main character as he conquers an alternate reality full of humanity's worst fears. Wandering through floor after floor of things from our worst nightmares, he continues downwards endlessly in search of escape. [A story heavily inspired by the backrooms, all but one of the floors are my own ideas pulling basic inspiration from various sources. A huge shoutout to my friends who helped me with a few of the floors and the motivation to write this.] Warning: this story will cover heavy themes of loneliness and horror. If you are adverse to gore, psychological horror, or general dark tones, continue at your own discretion.
