The nine beautiful months of Devakshi's pregnancy were coming to an end. While Dev was more than excited. Sonakshi was excited but worked up at the same time.

It was 8 in the morning, Dev woke up as the alarm buzzed. For the first time, Sonakshi did not hear the alarm buzz. She was fast asleep. Dev got out of bed and began his daily routine of making breakfast, cleaning the house. After nearly an hour, everything was done. He grabbed his cup of black coffee and walked towards the bedroom to sit beside Sonakshi. Sipping his cup of some blissful cup of coffee, he read Sonakshi's file. He was to engrossed in reading the reports. He did not notice that Sonakshi had already woken up and was admiring him since long. 'Good morning' Sonakshi said in a sleepy tone. 'Good morning miss Bose......I mean Mrs. Dixit. Tum theek se soe?' He Asked. Sonakshi came forward and kissed Dev on his cheek. Dev was surprise. 'Wow, itni subha subha itna pyaar?' Sonakshi came forward and whispers in his ears 'woh kya hain na dev, pregnancy mein ladki ke sexual desires bad jate hai'. Dev and the naughtiest smile on his face. 'Ab tum aise aise baatein karogi, toh mein kaam kaise karunga?' He Asked. Sonakshi began to giggle. 'Waise? May I know tum kya kaam kar rahe ho?' Dev looked at her and said 'main bhaut important kaam kar raha hu. Mein tumhare reports pad ke Yeh janne ke koshish kar raha hu ki humara baby ladki hai ya ladka'. As soon as Dev said that, Sonakshi busted out into laughter. 'Kya hua?' He Asked. Sonakshi pulled his cheeks and said 'Dev, aise reports dekh kar baby ka gender Nahi pata chalta'. She said. Dev kept the reports aside and moved close to Sonakshi to cuddle with her. He wrapped her in his arms and said, 'Accha? Toh tum batao. Tumhe kya chahiye? Ladka ya ladki?' She thought for a few seconds and said 'mujhe toh ek ladka chahiye. Bas woh tumhare tarah Mr. obodro na ho'. 'Oh,toh mein abhi bhi Mr. obodro hu? He asked. 'Sonakshi shrugged her shoulders and said 'always.....waise Dev, tumhe kya chahiye?' Dev quickly answered 'mujhe toh ek ladki chahiye. Just like you. But I don't mind agar ladka hua. Agar ladka hua, Toh humara second version ladki hogi'. Dev began to giggle. In between all these cute talks between them, Sonakshi's expressions changed she became silent . It took no time for Dev to realise that Sonakshi was bothered by something. 'Kya hua Sonakshi?' He Asked. Sonakshi took a deep breath and said ' dev, I was worried. Moreover, I am scared. Ab delivery ke lea bas kuch din hai. Sab theek se ho jayega na?' Dev kissed her on her forehead and said 'Sonakshi, why are you worried? Main hu na tumhare saath? Mein hu, humari families hai, aur Mumbai ke best doctors hai tumhare lea. Sab theek se ho jayega. Don't worry'. Sonakshi was still worried 'Dev, you you think we will be great parents?' Dev held her hand and said 'great ka pata Nahi, but I am sure we will be good parents. I promise you ki main apne family ko world ki sari khusheeyaan dunga. I promise you ki jo kuch bhi hume life mein Nahi mila, so sab hum humare bacche ko dange'. Sonakshi felt blessed to have him in her life. 'Thank you dev. I love you'. He smiled at her and said 'Don't thank me Sonakshi....and ya I love you more. Ab tum jaldi se ready ho jao, breakfast kar lo, then I have to take you somewhere'. He said. 'Kaha jana hai? I am not going anywhere. Mujhe bas bed mein rehna hai...all day long'. She said. 'Arey? Sonakshi I have planned something for you. Maine couple spa book kia hai. Trust me you will feel relaxed. Don't be a spoil sport yaar...chalo na please...please'. Sonakshi sighed and said 'huh...chalo...kitne ziddi ho tum'. Dev jumped out of the bed 'Okay chalo, tum ready ho jao, tab tak mein breakfast lata hu'. Dev walked out of the room. As he walked out of the room, Sonakshi kept staring at him. For once she thought what would have had happened if her life wouldn't have given her a last chance with Dev. She caressed her baby bump because her pregnancy was the reason they got a chance. She kept thinking about him. 'Sonakshi....are you ready?' Dev asked from the kitchen. Dev's voice distracted Sonakshi from are thoughts and she quickly went to get ready.
