When I was a kid I had an ability very few my age had. My mom called it my imagination. It was only when I was a teenager that I learned the truth.

I had several imaginary friends that were in fact not imaginary friends but ghosts. One was a little five year old boy named Dan.

The other was a seven year old girl named Shyla. As a kid I thought Shyla was real. When I grew up, I realized she had been made up. Then I soon realized she, like Dan, had been a ghost.

Many encounters with spirits over the years, some even through dreams scared me. I didn't know how to deal with it or what it was.

It was when I grew up that I learned I had the unique ability to talk to spirits. Clairvoyance. I had other abilities too. Abilities which I do not wish to share here.

But it was my clairvoyance that changed my life. It saved me when my grandfather (Pap) died. Nobody knew it but I got to say goodbye to him in a dream.
