I waited until everyone left for school and I slipped out the house and got into the taxi. I drove to town and I waddled to the library. I walked to the history section and pulled out a couple books I hadn't read yet. I sat at a table and read quietly.
"Well, hello there Miss Cullen." I looked up and saw Chief Swan.
"Hello Mr Swan. I heard your daughter moved to town. How are things going?" I asked and he sighed.
"Shes so much like her mother Im scared she'll leave like her mother did. I know its only temporally but I would love for her to stay." I frowned at him and he smiled looking at my baby bump. "How far are you now?"
"Almost 6 month. Im getting pretty big. My dad thinks it might be twins." Charlie chuckled and pat my shoulder. "You know if your worried for Bella I could always go out with her to the movies. Or shopping. I don't mind and it would be nice to make another friend." He smiled.
"You know what. That's a good idea. Thank you Lillian. I'll get Bella to call you." I nodded and hand him my number before looking at the clock.
"If you like I can even go see her at school. I would love an opportunity to see Jasper earlier anyway." The man chuckled and nodded.
"Do you need a rid?" I nodded and he drove me to the school.

Once we arrived he pointed out who was Bella and I waved as he left. I walked over and she looked up at me.
"Hello Bella. I'm Lillian Cullen." She just looked at me shocked. "I'm Edwards biological sister and Jaspers girlfriend."

"Its nice to meet you." She said and went to shack my hand but I hugged her gently.
"No need to be so formal. I'm here because your dad thinks you could use a good friend. Maybe we can go out some time. A meal or to a movie." She smiled and nodded.
"Thanks." I smiled and I heard wheels swerve. I looked over and saw a van coming towards us. I pulled Bela down and had my back to the van. I heard metal crunch and looked up see Edward holding the Van from me and Bella. He just stared at Bella before looking to me and I nodded, making him take off. I felt a hand land on my shoulder and looked up to see Jasper. He looked worried. Very worried. Others around us were shouting and yelling for an ambulance.
*****
I sat on the hospital bed and looked up at Jasper.
"You could have been killed." He said and I frowned.
"I didn't know this would happen Jasper. If I did I wouldn't have been there." I sigh as he frowned. I heard Chief Swan storm in and talk to Bella. Then my dad came in.
"So Bella-Lillian? What are you doing here?" He said and shined a light in Bella's eyes.
"I was with Bella." He froze and looked over to me. "I'm fine. I didn't get hit." He nodded slowly and he turned back to Bella.
"You can say goodbye to you license." Charlie said to Tyler.
"But he stopped. The car park was icy. It wasn't his fault. But he did manage to stop in time." Charlie and Carlisle looked to me.
"He could have killed you and your baby." Charlie said.
"I know but it wasn't his fault. It was just an accident." I said and Jasper took my hand.

"Come on, Lilly. Lets get you home." I nodded and Jasper helped me up before we walked out and I saw Edward and Rose.
"Oh thank god." Edward came over and hugged me gently. "Your okay." He let me go and Rose hugged me gently.
"Is the baby okay?" I nodded. "Did you get a scan?" I pulled out a small photo and hand it to her. She smiled and looked at it. I rubbed my belly and frowned.
"I'm hungry." Jasper smiled and kissed my head, resting mis hand on my belly, earning a soft kick. "Edward you need to be carful. What if someone saw you?"
"They didn't." He said.
"Still. Please. Try to be more carful from now on." He nodded and I heard someone clear there throat. I looked over and saw Bella.
"Can I talk to you?" She was looking right at Edward. He kissed my head before walking over and Jasper took my hand and we walked out the hospital.
"Lets go get you some food." I smiled and nodded, making Jasper chuckle.

No More Respawns
Synopsis: The first time Allen died, he was forced back into a living hell where death is temporary, and power is all that matters. With evil and depravity as the rule, tragedy becomes comedy and life becomes an act. Only a deal with a shady god can get him back to his old life, but what happens if there’s nothing left to save? Maybe hell isn’t so bad if you have infinite lives… until you don’t. Needless to say, it’s all fun and games until there’s no more respawns. Foreword: This story is meant primarily as an action adventure and secondarily as a dark and nihilistic comedy. It may not be readily apparent in the beginning, but that's what I have planned (I feel the need to emphasize the dark; don’t rage at me if it gets too ‘traumatizing’ or something). I’m going to take my time with this, so it won’t immediately inundate you with doom and gloom. This is also a comedy, remember? On that note, if for some cursed reason you just can't handle either the references or the jokes, I am willing to battle in the comments. Anyway, I still put a significant amount of effort into the system, so I hope you enjoy that part. It is a little bulky, I'll admit to that, but I wanted to try something new and its more fun when there's more depth to it. Regardless, I still have a lot of fun doing math in the middle of writing a fictional story (/s). I also want to see if I can keep from messing up the pacing. Many times, I end up going too fast because I'm afraid of the story getting boring, which tends to ironically have the opposite effect. I'm still learning I suppose; we'll see how things go. Lastly, please leave reviews and comments, they really mean a lot to me and (usually) help me improve considerably. I'll be asking for feedback in the polls and I do still check the old ones from time to time. Notes: The story takes a bit of time to develop; give it time if you're here for drama, grimdark, or antihero. The system is all blue boxes and I'm not half-assing the numbers. Chapters will be between 1k and 2k words usually. I always use the oxford coma, fight me. Might drop if rating falls below 4 stars, idk. It depends on how my life is going. Cover drawn by yours truly in MS paint. (I have skill, I know)

Currently participating in the April 2022 Royal Road Writeathon. This fiction will resume in May 2022 When Methuselah’s star explodes, the world burns under the impact of an extinction level event. Emmett Carter just wants one thing - to gather his family at the farm and keep them safe. Rated [M] for Mature Audiences. Contains Alcohol use, Drug use, Gore, Profanity, Smoking, Violence.Rated [D] for Drama. Contains emotional themes, interpersonal relationships, and character development. Author's note: You are reading a first draft, written mostly while drinking cheap whiskey. Expect it to read like hot garbage and I guarantee that it’ll meet your expectations. I’m a storyteller, not a writer - there’s a huge difference between the two professions. IMPORTANT! This story is told in a first-person limited, conversational style, with Emmett occasionally breaking the 4th wall and addressing the reader directly. This means that YOU and Emmett may have absolutely no idea why stuff is happening, because there will be little or no exposition or other POV's. Read the comments for spoilers, ask questions if you want to know something. This work incorporates blended aspects of Xianxia, Wuxia, Super powers, and Western Magic into a post-apocalyptic fantasy adventure. It is none of those things and all those things, mashed together. The MC is Over Powered, but so are many, many others. He just hasn't met them yet. Dear Student, What follows is an adaption of the diary of Emmett Carter before his Ascension. While the decades during and after the Aurora Apocalypse are lost to us, the Ascended himself has allowed us to publish this work so long as we warn the reader that it may not be entirely accurate or present an unbiased viewpoint of the events. One should also note that the Aurora was in flux during that time and some things that were possible in the early days are no longer possible, especially with the advent of the Akashic record. Editors have included footnotes when possible to explain pre-aurora technologies or concepts and how they relate to current magical technologies. The contents of this work may upset readers. If you’ve ever been in a natural disaster, had a house fire, witnessed a murder, lost a loved one to violence, or have a strong opinion on the sanctity of life, please do not read this. It contains dramatic scenes of a world in the throes of an apocalyptic event. There are no rainbows and unicorns, only loss, uncertainty, and death while the survivors struggle to rebuild their lives. Updates Thursdays and Sundays for now. Word count is about 2000 ~ 4000ish per chappie.
