Personally, I don't like the book, the lingo constantly confused me and the constant swearing angers me. He sounds like a teenager, but the lingo is out of time and makes it hard to read. That was my biggest problem, but any other way it's a descent. It gets better as the book cooks along; after you hit a hundred. But, if you want to read an old book I suggest reading To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee.
