《The Feral, Alpha K》TWELVE

My feet felt like weight's anchoring me down to the ground. I wasn't happy to go up there.
Alpha K had stopped walking when he realized I wasn't behind him. I shook my head at him before his eyes skimmed over the room full of men. He wasn't going to leave me down here with them either.
He grabbed onto my arm before yanking me forward. Nothing could have prepared me for the gruesome murder scene I had walked into.
Blood was everywhere, furniture was destroyed. My eyes drifted to the children's toys that were scattered all over the floor.
My eyes landed on the mangled lifeless body down the hall, sticking halfway out the bathroom door.
I hunched over as I let out an unsettling gag. I brought my wrist up to my lips in attempt to suppress my stomach. I could feel the Alpha's eyes on me, his annoyance wafting off of him.
He barked before making his way to the bathroom, the floor creaked under his heavy weight.
I sat on the floor as I kept my eyes trained towards the wood panel's, the floor was clear here no blood in sight. My eyes shot up to a orange haired man. He seemed young probably a couple years older than me.
I took the glass from him and thanked him. I gulped it down completely before handing it back. I probed.
I nodded at him as I told him my own name before my eyes drifted to the Alpha who was inspecting the body with a couple other men.
I whispered, Alpha turned to me with a pointed gaze. He was hard to read, especially around other people. There had to be a child, the toys were for a young pup.
Ezekiel stated, yet this did nothing to subdue my suspicion. I pulled myself onto my feet before I began walking through the bedrooms.
All the men side stepped me as if I had the plague, hastily I checked every nook and cranny though I was sure they probably had done it already.
Finally I stood in a child's room. There were two beds, one much bigger than the other. Half the room was pink whilst the other half was blue.
I heard a small whimper causing all my senses to heighten. There wasn't much room in the room, it was pretty small. I glanced under the beds before my eyes landed on a small toy box. A small scent of blood wafting from it.
I held my breath as I placed both hands on the lid. I felt like my heart stop beating as I stared down at a little battered and bruised little boy.
I whispered as I reached for him, he clutched and whined trying to get away from me. Slowly he placed his hand in mine before I lifted him out of the trunk.

The men all stared at me with wide eyes as I maneuvered around the mess of toys on the floor.
I ignored the man as I made my way towards the stairs. I needed to get of here, the pup needed help. Alpha K let out a growl causing the child to whimper. My steps halted against the ground as I cooed at the pup.
I knew he was talking to me, I took a deep breathe before turning back around and standing before him. I couldn't hide the tears welling in my eyes. Who could do this to a pup? It was sick.
I sulked as I held him protectively. I was aware his blood was covering me, I probably looked like a wreck.
He commanded, I whimpered as Ezekiel slowly took the boy before quickly leaving. My eyes shot up to the Alpha's as I looked at him pleadingly.
His right hand came up and wiped the tears off my face.
He hissed our before grabbing me hand and leading me downstairs. Comforting sparks shot up my arm, I was surprised that he held my hand instead of dragging me like before.
Alpha K barked at Beta X, Xeon gave him a short nod before Alpha K sauntered out of the house. I felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders as soon as I was outside.
I will never follow this man anywhere again, I was traumatized. I squeezed his hand tighter as I tried to get the woman's dead lifeless eyes out of mind. That poor child.
I stood still as the Alpha wiped all the blood off me. We were in his office, though I had never been here before. I hadn't even been in the pack house until now. There weren't many people here, I guess most of them lived in their own homes around the pack lands. It was beautiful, high ceilings and beautiful aesthetics.
A few maids had walked in bringing in trays of food and fresh pair of clothes for me. Alpha K handed my ruined fur to one of them and told them to clean it. I had told him I could clean it myself but he waved me off.
My lips pouted as he wiped the last bit of grime off my face. His eyes scanning the rest of me for any more blood.
He muttered as he motioned to the fresh clothes laying on his desk. He threw the dirty rag at the bottom of the cart before sitting down at the desk and running a hand through his wavy hair.
Quietly I grabbed the clothes before positioning myself behind his chair so he couldn't see me. I kept my eyes glued to the back of his head as I changed in record time.
The sound of his voice sent a wave a relief through me as I slowly approached his side. His hand snaked around my waist before pulling me down onto his lap.

I was more than that, I was devastated.
I leaned my head against his chest, as he began to go through his paperwork.
I questioned, It didn't make any sense.
His eyes were concentrated on the files in in his hand. The paper had 'Western, Aurora Pack' written on the top. I leaned closer to the paper as I began to read it myself.
It was a list of incidents, pack members and bank statements. I hadn't realized that he'd have to over see everything in Osnia now that he had stolen everyone's land and forced them to submit. Truly a fraudulent King figure.
My eyes drifted over the laid out files until I landed on 'Southern, Mayfield Pack'. That's my pack!
Without much thought I picked it up and began to read through it. I hadn't found anything notable until the last two pages. They were request forms for travelling to North. What was so interesting was that one of them was from Avery.
I pushed the paper into his view waiting for his response.
I stated as I pointed to the paper. Alpha K raised an eyebrow before returning back to the papers he was holding.
My lips parted in disbelief, how dare he ignore me. I grabbed the pen off the table before signing the paper myself. I half expected Alpha K to go berserk and yell at me, but he seemed unfazed. Only glancing at me ever so often.
I took this as a sign to to continue, flipping through files and signing off on things which I thought was a good idea.
Alpha licked his lips before leaning back in the chair.
Half of me wanted to ask him how old he was but I decided not to, it would only amuse him.
Suddenly the door knob turned as a women entered. She was dressed in a silk robe as her long white locks cascaded down her back. Instantly I had recognized her as the women who yelled at me the day Alpha had came back. The beautiful she wolf with pale blue eyes and never ending curves.
It took me a moment to realize that she was speaking to me. Alpha K began to let out a low growl that sent vibrations through the back of my chest. His grip on my waist tightened.
So she was the other woman, the woman who he had came home reeking of. Every fibre in my body wanted me to tell her 'exactly who I was and who she wasn't'.
My claws extended as they dug into palms. I spat, my blood was boiling I could feel my temperature rising.
She spoke sexily, I cringed in response. I was going to be sick, on the verge of throwing up and attacking her. But I wouldn't do it, the last thing I was going to to do was fight a women over a man who is mine.
I gritted as I glared up at him through my thick eyelashes, he turned towards me giving me a clear view of his agitated face. He looked like he was ready to pop a blood vessel. The veins in his neck pumping blood fiercely.
He shot her a look so sinister that I had almost felt bad for her. Emphasis on almost.
Her mouth gaped widely as her eyebrow twitched. I could tell she wanted to protest but questioning him is something no one did unless they had a death wish. Though that doesn't apply to me. She hesitated for a second before exiting.
I sneered as I tried to get off of his lap. His arm pulled me closer as his hand roughly grabbed onto my jaw.
He ran his tongue over his teeth as he observed me with his pointed gaze. " He stated as he motioned over to the cart which still had the trays of food.
I retorted as I moved my gaze to my lap.
He pulled the cart over roughly before tossing the cover at the wall. The impact causing me to jump within his lap. Part of the wall chipped away the cover layer demolished on the floor.
He held the bowl of soup towards me eyes blank just staring at me. Daring me to defy him. I took it from it before balancing it on my palm.
I turned my head away from him before lifting the spoon and taking a sip. I was hoping he'd continue doing his work but instead he watched me the entire time. His hand rubbing up and down the top of my thigh. I felt him relax and the tense feeling in the room disappeared.
I stirred the spoon in the nearly empty boil anxiously. Mate's don't fight. Mate's are compatible. Two pieces of one whole.
My face turned towards his as my voice cracked and the tears threatened to spill.
I flinched as his hand came up to cup my face, my lips pouted in sadness, I wanted to cry so bad, I was frustrated. He leaned forward bringing our faces closer to each other. My eyes stared at his as his stared my lips. I closed me eyes as his lips met mine. The kiss was slow and needy, his hand moved to the back of my neck craning it giving him better access. He pulled away abruptly before pecking my lips one last time.
