《The Bully.》Chapter 16.

Win woke up to the sound of yelling coming from downstairs. He groaned as he tried to move to stretch, he felt something hard against his back.
He turned to see Bright sleeping peacefully clinging on to Win.
Win smiled at that and tried to get up until he felt Bright hold him tighter.
"Bright?" Win rasped
"Just 5 more minutes" He mumbled
"But I think something happened," Win replied as he turned to face the latter.
Brights eyes opened and stared at Win with a questioning look. He was going to ask why until the door slammed opened followed by a loud squeal.
"Oh my gosh, Brightty! Is this why you love coming over here so much?!"
Bright's eyes widen and he hastily got out of Win's hold and stood up to face his mom. But instead of standing up he tripped over his own feet and fell back on top of Win, who was too shocked to even move.
Bright looked and saw his mom trying her hardest to hold in another squeal but it seemed as if maybe that was too hard for her.
"OH MY GOSH YOU GUYS ARE SO CUTE BAHHBAHHHHABAHHH" She screamed
Soon Krit came running in with a horrid look on his face as he stared at Bright's mom. He then looked to see the position the two boys were in and smiled wide.
"OHH MY GOSHHH" Krit squealed.
Both krit and Brights mom grabbed each other's hands and started jumping in circles.
Win and Bright blushed as they got out of each other embrace and stood up to stare at their parents.
"MOM!" Bright shouted "please stop it wasn't what it looked like"
Both parents stopped jumping and turned to look at their flustered sons.
"Oh? It's not? Then why were you two in bed together, to begin with?" She asked crossing her arms.
"W-We just f-fell asleep" Win replied in a tiny voice.
Bright looked and see that he was nervous and wanted so bad to hold his hand but went against it.
"Sure" Krit spoke "Anyways let's have dinner, im starving. And Bright why didn't you tell me your Mom was a Fujoshi?? Now I and she are the bestest friends!" Krit exclaimed.
"Is that why I heard screaming?" Win asked as he scratched his elbow.
Brights mom shook her head yes.
"Yeah, he was showing me his manga collection as we talked." She smiled then left the room.
Before Krit walked out he turned to the boys.

"Win, dont forget you owe Mrs. Vachirawit an apology for what went down with you and Bright. She may seem okay with it now but both of you are going to have your own private talk, okay?" Krit told.
Win shook his head to then look down.
"Hey, it's okay" Bright commented as he held Win's hand.
"Fuck you guys are cute," Krit said as he walked out of the room.
Bright and Win stood there for a minute to prepare for the dinner they were about to have.
"Don't worry Win, my mom is really bad at holding grudges and I've already told her you stopped bullying me" Bright tried to calm the younger down.
"And?" Win questioned "It still doesn't mean what I did wasn't wrong, I hurt you for 2 years, and now all of a sudden we are this " Win referred to their hands that we interlocked "I dont even know why you have even forgiven me. Thought you'd at least play hard to get"
Bright sighed and let go of Win's hand to stand in front of him.
"Look, maybe I shouldn't forgive you so easily. Maybe I should try and make it hard for you but that's just not me, im not the type to hold a grudge either, plus, it's obvious we were only like this because we were bad at showing our true feelings. I dont care if my mom thinks im forgiving you too easily or if anyone else thinks that. Fuck them and their opinions they have no right to tell me who I forgive, and neither do you"
"Let's go downstairs before the food gets cold okay?" Bright then walked out of the room leaving Win to stand alone.
Win wasn't sure what to do. He just felt like everything was too good to be true. What if Bright decided to leave anyway? What if Bright didn't really care about Win and was waiting for the day to shove him away and leave?
Win has trust issues and never was able to gain any real friendships, maybe this was all too good to be true.
He walked downstairs with a heavy heart. Making his way to the table he saw his dad and Brights mom on one side while Bright was looking down in his lap on the other side.
He sat down not daring to look up.
"What happened with you two?" Brights mom asked
"Nothing mom, let's just eat" Bright replied

The main course was over with and dinner went by smoothly. Most of the talking was done by the parents as they explained their love for BL and Kpop. While Bright and Win spent most of the meal glancing at each other and stuffing their mouths with food so they wouldn't have to talk much.
"So who's your bias for seventeen?" Krit asked while eating a slice of cake
"Definitely would have to be Woozi" Brights mom chirped "His voice is beautiful, he's smol, and he's so freaking cuteeee" she smiled wide "What about you?" She asked krit.
"My baby Minghao" he exclaimed "Not only is he good at dancing, but his voice is so soft and calm. He also is so relatable and makes me want to update my wardrobe"
Both parents laughed out loud while placing more desserts on each other's plates.
Brights mom noticed how the two boys were quietly sitting while eating slowly. A frown formed on her face when she said Win glance at her son with a sad look. She decided to finally talk to him.
"Win sweetie" she politely called "Come to the living room with me please?" She stood up with her cake in her hand as she walked away from the table.
Win gulped and looked at his Dad before walking away.
They both sat down on the couch. Win could feel her staring at him and started fidgeting.
"Win" she placed her hand on top of Wins "You dont have to be scared of me, I mean im glad that you are, but you dont need to be"
Win nodded and stayed silent to let her continue.
"I'm going to be straight with you. I didn't want my son to be around you. 2 years I had been trying to not only stop you from hurting him but understand you as well. Seeing my baby come home with bruises and a limp walk is not something any parent who loves their children would want to see. I was angry at you for all you did." She ranted "But I've spoken with your Dad and I guess now I understand. I dont like how you handled it but I know you have feelings for my son."
Win looked up at her and furrowed his eyebrows.
Who said anything about feelings? Bright's just a friend, right?
Brights mom smiled and continue to talk.
"Your father is very talkative so he told me everything. Now im not saying it justifies what you did but I guess I can see why you chose that route. I just...I want to let you know that if Bright can forgive you then I will as well, he doesn't have many friends, and his past causes him to have trust issues so if he's willing to let you in on his life then I am as well. I can already see how fond he is of you and im willing to trust you. But promise me one thing?" She asked.
"Anything " Win breathed out
"Don't hurt him." She sighed "He's been hurt enough"
"I promise"
They both smiled at each other and Brights mom reached to hug Win. A single teardrop fell from her eyes (the two let go of each other and got up to walk back into the kitchen.
"Mom? Were you crying?" Bright asked and got up from his chair to wipe the tear away.
"It's okay Bright im fine" she assured "I'm going to get going it's pretty late, you can stay the night im sure Krit would love that"
"I sure would." He smiled and got up to hug her "Thank you Aunnie for coming. It was really night to meet you"
"It was nice to meet you too"

After parting ways than saying goodbyes and good night's both boys were back in Wins room laying on Wins bed.
They weren't touching which made Win feel uneasy. He kept fidgeting his fingers waiting for Bright to say something.
Soon he felt a hand over his.
"You only do that when you're scared or nervous" Bright turned to stare at Win "Are you scared of me?"
"N-No," Win answered
"Are you nervous?" Bright asked
Win looked the opposite way and stared at the wall
"No" he replied.
"You're lying" Bright moved to hover over Win. "What's wrong?"
His voice was soft but with a serious tone.
Win bit his lip wondering if it he could fulfill his promise to Brights mom. He knew that he had some type of care for Bright, but was it serious?
Win sighed and wrapped his arms around Bright's waist to pull him closer.
"Let's go to sleep, please? I'm tired and you're warm" He mumbled into Bright's chest.
Bright chuckled and brought his hand up to pat Win's head.
"Okay Bun. Goodnight"
Win smiled at the nickname and held Bright tighter.
