Marry?

Did he say marry?

He can't possibly want me to marry right?

Right?

„Marry? I don't even know him." I say

„Well you will. We have a dinner with him and his family tomorrow." my mother decided to speak again.

Tomorrow already, wow.

„But what if I don't want to marry him or even like him? I wanna marry because I love someone not because I have to."

„That doesn't matter Aurora you will marry him to make us proud and so we can improve the business." my father says coldly.

Hearing as I will make him proud it was a bit better but I still didn't like it. But knowing I couldn't do anything I tried to hold back and just hope that he won't be bad seeing as I will spent the rest of my life with him from a few weeks on.

So instead of talking back, knowing it will just get me in trouble, I sigh.

„Can I go back to my room now or ist there more you wanted to tell me?" I ask.

My mother not even looking in my direction anymore just waves me off.

„you can go but don't be to loud."

As if I was ever even loud I normally just say nothing knowing that it won't get me anywhere in this family besides in trouble.

Hearing my Mom I'm off up the stairs and directly in my bed. Letting all the tears out and on my pillow realizing just now how bad the situation is.
