I think my nerves couldn't be any higher than they are right now.
Standing off a bit in the distance with my arm locked with the one from my dad.
Hearing the music start we start to walk down coming nearer and nearer the aisle. I see Theo looking at me and never even once looking away as if he is completely captured. The nearer I come the more I feel the same. I just can't look away he looks so mesmerizing in his suit.
Standing in front of him my father gives my hands to Mattheo's so we lock hands. Each of them giving the other a nod my das retreats and sits next to my mom. Looking into Theos eyes he whispers a small „you look absolutely stunning in that dress" to me.
Smiling at him the priest starts the ceremony. Not really hearing what is said I kind of zone out in Theos eyes. I just Zone back in when I feel Theos hand slightly brushing my cheek and the falling tear away with it. I haven't realized I slowly started to cry, quickly trying to collect myself again so that no one will know something's off.
Theo mouths a small ‚it's okay' to me smiling softly.
I just nod my head. No one suspects anything anyway I mean a lot of people cry out of happiness at their wedding so they are just gonna think that that is exactly what happened.
Getting out of my thoughts right the moment the priest says „and now we are going to hear the vows" I instantly panick having completely forgotten about those.
Theo sensing that just says „we don't have them here, we want to do them after the wedding when we are alone just for us."
Knowing he just saved me with that lie I give him a grateful smile.

„Well then Mattheo Blake Rossi do you take Aurora Elizabeth Baldwin as your lawful wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you apart?"
„I do" say Theo with a smile on his face.
Sliding the fitting thin gold wedding ring on my ring finger.
„Do you Aurora Elizabeth Baldwin take Mattheo Blake Rossi as your lawful husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and cherish until death do you apart?"
Looking at Theo I reply with an „I do".
Sliding his more thicker golden ring on his ring finger.
„I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride."
Hearing that I get instantly nervous again I had so much anxiety all the time I completely forgot about this. This is gonna be my first kiss ever. Am I even gonna be good? What will he think? What if I'm bad at it?
Before I could think even more he gently comes forward and pressed his lips to mine slightly. The moment our lips connect I feel everything fade away, having just a feeling of safety and comfort.
Pulling away after a few seconds I become aware of everything again.
Looking at everyone and then back to Theo I blush. I just had my first kiss in front of a lot of people and some I don't even know. Taking my hand Theo and I walk down back the aisle to the rest of the tables to start the little party now that the ceremony is over.
