However, you also have to learn how to balance school and outside activities. I know it by experience. Your education always comes first, so if you have a test to study for: study for it. Outside school activities look good in collage applications. The key to balance it is time management. So, once you see you can manage your time successfully, then you have done good. Do not stress yourself though. If you see things are difficult to balance and you are in your breaking point; take a decision of chosing one of them and maybe changing the activity.
