a few days later, jungkook found himself knocking on taehyung's door since he hasn't heard from him all day, and he was definitely worried, taehyung always replies to his texts.
after knocking a few times, the door finally opened and taehyung stood there in sweatpants looking tired. jungkook quickly threw himself into the other's arms, "i was worried sick about you, tae. you haven't texted me all day."
taehyung smiled and hugged jungkook back. "i'm sorry, i didn't mean to worry you." just then, an unknown male to jungkook came from the living room.
"hey, who's this tae?" the male asked and watched as the two pulled apart. jungkook was confused until taehyung spoke, "uh, hey, uhm- this is my boyfriend, jungkook." he pointed at jungkook, "jungkook this is- uh jimin, my ex." he scratched the back of his neck awkwardly.
"oh, nice to meet you. taehyung talked a lot about you all day." jimin said as he brought his hand down for a handshake. jungkook was hesitating but gave in and shook the other's hand once he saw him smile sweetly at him.
"really? he barely even mentioned you." jungkook said as he unintentionally pressed harder on jimin's hand. "you're hurting my hand, and my dude i'm not here to try and win him back or anything, relax."
jungkook let go of the other's hand, "you can't even if you tried."
"okay, jungkook, come with me for a second, i need your help with something." taehyung said as he pulled jungkook into his room leaving jimin staring at their backs awkwardly.
"really?" taehyung asked after closing the door.
"you didn't tell me you had your ex over. what the fuck is he doing here?" jungkook asked, trying his best to stay calm.

"he came here on business, and he doesn't have anywhere to stay, so he called me." taehyung explained. "ever heard of a fucking hotel? it's a place unwanted people stay at." jungkook clenched his fist, he wasn't gonna hide it, he was upset with all this.
taehyung unclenched jungkook's fist and intertwined their hands together, "it's okay baby. don't be upset, he'll only be here for two days. he doesn't have that extra to stay at a hotel and i happened to be here. but that doesn't mean i have feelings for him again or anything. i'm with you now, and i couldn't be happier with that, okay?"
jungkook sighed and kissed taehyung's forehead, "okay, i trust you."
"if you want, you can stay with us and sleep here tonight, hmm?"
"depends. where will i sleep?" jungkook asked and leaned on the door, smiling.
taehyung hummed, "i mean i do have more than one couch, one for you and one for jimin."
jungkook raised an eyebrow, "or, you can sleep in my bed with me." taehyung finished and jungkook grinned, "only a few days ago was our first kiss and now you're asking me for sex taehyung?" jungkook teased and taehyung's quickly shook his head, cheeks burning. "i-no! i didn't mean that i just- i meant we ca-"
jungkook laughed, "i'm just messing around petal, of course i'd love to sleep next to you. we can cuddle all night." he said excitedly and taehyung hugged him and laid his head on jungkook's chest, "i'm so happy i found someone like you, you know that?"
"taehyung?" jungkook called and taehyung looked at him and hummed for him to continue, jungkook cupped the other's cheeks and smiled, "i love you taehyung." he confessed and felt relieved when the other smiled at him sweetly.

"already?" taehyung asked and jungkook smiled back, "is it too soon to say it? i just think, we're adults and i know what i feel for you is love, i don't think there's a point in hiding that. i love you."
taehyung shook his head, "this is my favourite thing to hear from you from now on, i love you too jungkook. i really do." he said as he hugged him again and kissed his neck.

The Due
Every sailor knows the tale of Davy Jones' Locker. That place drowned sailors are sent to, ever resting on sea's bed. Some tales recount of a ghostly ship, the Flying Dutchman. Many a story has spawned from these two tales. Countless retellings mixing in their own fictions. But all stories spawn with a kernel of truth to them, and the story of Davy Jones is no exception. Those who've met the legendary seaman and his ghostly ship might call him a ferryman, escorting the drowned to their respective afterlives. Others might call him a devil, meting punishment on those deserving. The true story is always slightly different. Davy Jones is a ferryman, but not one for the afterlife, as Walter finds out. No, Davy Jones manages those who die at sea while in debt, and Walter died with a lot of debt. Unable to pay, Davy puts Walter to work. The specter has just the job for the dead college graduate. Another god, Sod, needs an afterlife for his new world. Davy tasks Walter with the job. Suddenly, Walter finds himself having to run a fledgling underworld with little instruction from Sod. To top it off, the denizens of Sod's world have their own ambitions to achieve godhood, and they won't take kindly to Sod's newest employee shaking up the status quo. [Traumatizing Content tag is up just to let everyone know this will be a story that deals with different themes of death. Some of them won't be nice and so better to be safe than sorry.]
