jungkook woke up before taehyung that day, he sat up and looked at him. he wondered how he got so lucky to even have a chance with someone like him.
taehyung woke up soon after, as the two ate their breakfast that taehyung had brought with him last night, then ended up cuddling in between their blankets while looking at the view in front of them.
"how nice it is to be here. it's so peaceful and beautiful." jungkook exclaimed and taehyung hummed, "hmm, i think our problem is that most of the time we forget that it's the small things that count. everyone is so busy waiting in the waiting place. but if we stopped to remember that there's such things as this place and a view this beautiful, we'd all be happier."
as taehyung talked, jungkook lied back against the ground, the blanket wrapped around him, as he brought taehyung's head to lay on his chest, then looked at the sky, "you know something taehyung? you are all the colours in one, at full brightness."
taehyung smiled, "when you say things like that, i get jealous, just for a second, of your brain. your words are so beautiful it makes me feel like my own brain is ordinary."
"nothing about you is ordinary. i can't think of a person that is half as beautiful as you are, inside out." jungkook said, "and you coming up with an idea like this just to show me the sunrise, proves that you're beyond just ordinary. i love you."
taehyung kissed jungkook's chest as they laid down, "i love you too." he whispered.
they stayed like that for the longest time, talking about each and every thing that crossed their minds that day.
"jungkook." taehyung called which made the other look at him immediately, "yeah?"

"thank you for taking interest in me that day. i would've been so lonely if you weren't with me right now." taehyung admitted softly which made jungkook smile, "loving you was the best thing i was ever fit to do baby, i should be the one thanking you for giving me a chance and for being so amazing."
taehyung couldn't help but smile back, "i am pretty amazing, you took interest in me way too fast, fell for my charms quite quickly." he joked and the younger chuckled, "i'll have you know, it only takes four minutes for a person to fall in love, while it took me about two hours to get interested. i don't think it's fast enough."
taehyung giggled, "you're so silly." he said as he pecked his nose. "you still fell for my charms though." he continued and jungkook chuckled, "of course i did, that's undeniable."
"i'm probably gonna ruin the mood, but i'm pretty hungry, granola bars weren't the best breakfast to be honest." taehyung said as he played with the other's hair.
"you were the one who chose granola bars in the first place."
taehyung pouted, "doesn't matter who chose them, but it matters that i'm hungry."
jungkook cooed at his cuteness, "there must be a close restaurant here somewhere, do you wanna go?" jungkook asked taehyung who quickly nodded, "yay! best boyfriend award goes to you. get up!" he said as he stood up ready to go fill his tummy.
