Kelly - That doesn't matter. I want an explanation for why you didn't tell me?

Kelly laughs

Ailsa is shown into the interview room by Sandra

Grace is there waiting

Sandra looks at him with concern

Sandra - The woman has just had the news that her granddaughter has been murdered, I really don't think she is in a fit state to be interviewed

Grace- Yeah well I'm sorry but if she wants me to get to the bottom of this I have to talk to her

Ailsa - What do ya wanna know?

Grace - Any ideas who may have done this?

Ailsa - Yeah Kelly Webster!

Grace - And why would she want to kill Connie?

The women are in the rec room

The others make a noise in agreement

Grace - You expect me to believe this?

Grace turns to Sandra

Grace turns back to Ailsa

Sandra - Making up such a downright ridiculous story won't help Slater

Ailsa flies at Louise

Louise looks genuinely shocked

Louise is with Grace. Sandra is present

Grace - Did you kill Connie Slater?

Louise - I couldn't, I was in the pound

Grace - Did you ask Mr Brewer to kill her?

Grace-Webster says you did

Louise - That's probably because she killed her herself

Grace shakes his head

Grace-Webster was with Mrs Clements at the time of the murder

Louise - Maybe Mr Brewer did kill her but on Kelly's instructions

Sandra - It was on your instructions I know it was, I can feel it

Louise looks at her angrily

Kath is talking to Cheryl

Kath - What did Kelly say?

Cheryl - She says Louise and Ailsa attacked me and she tried to stop them

Kath - Do you believe her?

Cheryl - I think so, I'm not sure Kath. I remember Louise and Ailsa being there now, she's telling the truth about that at least

Kelly is with Ailsa in another part of the room

Kelly - What did you think you were doing telling Grace about the murders?

Ailsa - At the time I was convinced you killed her and I wanted you to pay

Kelly - It's just a damn good job he didn't believe it that's all I can say. But if anyone does ever find out it's true you have to tell them that it was Louise and Mr. Brewer, I had nothing to do with it clear?

Matt - This is absurd, I never touched her

Grace - I must warn you Mr Brewer that the entire prison is being searched as we speak...searched for any evidence you understand. Slater's head was bashed in with something and the item must be in the prison somewhere. The entire prison will be searched to try and find it....including the staff lockers

Matt smirks

Matt - Well good luck..you certainly won't find anything in my locker

Grace leans forward in his chair

Grace - And if we don't find it in the prison we will search everyone's cars just in case...what did you hit her with anyway? It must have been something nasty like a crowbar or something

Matt - I didn't kill her, I told you

There is a knock at the door

Grace = Come in

Sergeant Johnson enters

Johnson - We've searched the prison, we found nothing

Grace - Nothing at all?

Johnson shows him a pair of gloves

Johnson - Well only these

Grace - Gloves, hmmm whoever bashed her skull it would have worn gloves I'd imagine. Best to hang on to these, they could be evidence. Where did you find them?

Johnson - In Janice Raymonds locker

Grace - Then we should have a word with Miss Raymond shouldn't we

Matt has a sly smirk on his face

Sandra is in the reception with Ailsa and Vera

Sandra - I'm taking Slater out for a while

Vera looks surprised

Vera - Hang on a minute governor, this is somewhat unusual

Sandra -She wants to see Connie and it would be rather cruel to deny her that

Vera bows her head

Vera- Yes of course

Vera looks at Ailsa
