"This is crazy, I knew I'd wanted a family, but I didn't think I could be the Flash and-"

"And be a dad," Caitlin could usually tell what Barry was thinking, like now. They stood, leaning on the railing of the balcony, watching the endless amounts of cars pass below. Iris had work early tomorrow so she went home to bed. "At least you saw yourself as a parent, I'd never thought I would be a good mother." Caitlin shrugged.

"You're kidding, you'd make an amazing mom." Barry thought about all the times Caitlin acted like the only responsible person in the room. He even thought about when he and Cisco decided to fight crime and Caitlin yelled at them because they could've gotten hurt. She truly cared, and was always there when someone was feeling down.

"Oh really, Mister Allen?" Caitlin smiled. Barry could always make her smile, even when she thought she would never again.

"Really, Miss Snow." They both laughed for a moment, forgetting all the problems they were dealing with at the moment. "Well, I better get going before Iris thinks I ran away." Only he laughed this time.

"I'll see you tomorrow then," She smiled, knowing she'll see Barry again felt amazing. Barry left Caitlin alone on the balcony and went home.

She was sad to see him go, to see him go home to his wife. Caitlin didn't interfere though, she just wants him to be happy. However, there are some things that even Caitlin can't see.
