It has been a few weeks since they told team Flash about the newspapers. Dawn and Nora have been living with Barry and Iris. One morning Nora and Dawn woke up to the smell of delicious food. They walked downstairs to see Iris sitting up the table and Barry was finishing cooking. "What is all this?" Dawn asks

"I felt like a big breakfast" Barry said and both the girls liked the sound of that. They both sat down ready to eat and saw the massive platter of food in front of them. All of them ate everything. Barry and Iris had finished, there was one piece of Bacon left and both girls wanted it. Dawn was polite and said "You can have it"

"I should think so after what you did" Nora said taking the piece of bacon and shoving it in her mouth.

"That wasn't my fault I didn't have any decision in that" Dawn said sick of the accusations. Usually, she would just let it slide but she couldn't this time.

"You're the reason my life is crap" Nora said, and Dawn just groaned.

Dawn turned to Iris and Barry and as politely as she could she said, "Thank you for breakfast, it was really nice but I've lost my appetite." She sped her plate to the sink and sped upstairs to the bathroom. Barry still wondered why her lightning was blue and yellow but never asked. Dawn was in the bathroom and her hands were going all frosty. She tried to make it stop but it wouldn't, then Iris came and knocked on the door.

"Hey, are you ok?" She asked

"Yeah, I'm ok" Dawn replied as calm as possible

"If you need to talk to someone I'm right here" Iris said

"Thank you, mum" Dawn said the last bit reluctantly. Iris was about to leave but she heard Dawn say "no, no, no"

Then Barry came up "Hey is everything ok?" He asked Iris

"I don't know" Iris said "She won't talk to me"

"Hey Dawn" Barry said, "You alright in there?"

"Yeah, I'm fine" she said starting to get worried that they'll figure out that Iris isn't her mum. "Not now" she said

"What?" Barry said

"Nothing" Dawn responded but with panic in her voice.

"Dawn I will phase in, if you don't come out or tell me what's wrong" Barry said all protective and father like. Dawn closed her eyes and took some deep breathes. When she opened her eyes it stopped. She went to open the door and saw Barry and Iris there.

"I'm fine" she said calmly but part of her face didn't show it "It's nothing I promise"

"Are you sure?" Barry asked

"Yeah, you seemed a little freaked out" Iris said

"No all good" Dawn said, "Is ok if I go to Star Labs?" she asks

"Yeah, I might go with you" Barry says

"I wish I could come but I have some work to do for the Central City Citizen" Iris says leaving

"You ready?" Barry asks Dawn

"Yeah, let's go" Barry and Dawn then went to Star Labs and saw Caitlin and Cisco working. "Hey" Barry said, and both shot their heads up at the father and daughter pair.

"Hey" They both said in unison

"Nothing new?" Barry asked if there were any robberies or meta-attacks

"Nope" Cisco said

"Ok I'm going to go train" Barry says and sped off to the speed lab. Dawn then sat down on one of the chairs and sighed in frustration thinking about the fight her and Nora had this morning.

"What's wrong baby flash?" Cisco asks

"Nothing's wrong and I'm not a baby" Dawn says lifting her head towards Cisco

"First of all, I know that sigh, your father does the same one, second of all if you don't want to be baby flash you can mini flash" Cisco says, and Caitlin and Dawn roll their eyes at the last part

"Do you have to give everyone a nickname?" Caitlin asked

"I don't give everyone a nickname" Cisco defends

"Would you like me to list all the names of the metas we encountered" Caitlin asks

"Yeah you still name the bad guys in my time" Dawn says and Caitlin points to her

"Well I didn't come up with frost" Cisco said

"But it's a great name" Caitlin says "and speaking of frost I need to figure out how to get her back"

"We will I promise" Cisco says turning to Nora "Now back to your problem, what's wrong?"

"I got into another fight in Nora and this time it was in front of her and mine parents" Dawn said almost slipping up

"What's it about?" Caitlin asks

"I can't say, I promised not to and it could change the timeline" Dawn said "We used to be the best of friends and now she hates me"

"Come one hates a strong word" Cisco said

"No, she hates me, I just going to stay here tonight I don't want to cause any more trouble" Dawn said

"Nonsense, that's your family you should be able to spend time with them" Caitlin said

"But..." Dawn was about to say bit was cut off by Caitlin

"Dawn they're your family you should be able to have a meal with them" Caitlin said with a warm smile and Dawn nodded.

"Hey, I'm gonna go back to loft", Barry said to Dawn. "You wanna come?"

Dawn looked at Caitlin who nodded "Yeah let's go" and they sped back to the loft to see Nora there watching tv.

"Hey" Barry said hanging his jacket on the rack and Dawn just looks down at her feet.

"Wanna watch a movie?" Nora asks

"Sure" Barry says "Dawn, do you wanna watch?"

"I'm good" she said and was going to walk up to her room but was stopped by Barry "What's going on?"

"Nothing, I'm just not in the mood for a movie" Dawn said

Barry was about to say something, but he got a message on his phone from Joe. There was a crime scene that he had to attend to. "I have to go to a crime scene but we will talk about this when I get back" he then sped away and Nora was quick to give Dawn a glare.

"Why do you always have to make things about you" Nora says turning her attention back to the tv

"I am trying to make him give all his attention you, I didn't ask him to come to Star Labs he wanted to go and I'm trying to leave you as much father daughter time as you want but it's not my fault that he wants to get to know me too." Dawn says "I am giving you everything I can and no matter what I do you still hate me"

"I despise you" Nora says giving her full attention to Dawn "You are the reason for everything bad in my life, you are the reason my boyfriend broke up with me"

"How was I supposed to know that he liked me" Dawn said "And it's not like I did anything after. You always make me the bad guy when I do nothing wrong. I'm your sister I'm not your enemy" Both the girls have been too distracted to hear Barry and Iris come in.

"You are not my sister, Iris isn't even your mum" Nora said

"What do you mean?" Iris asks standing next to Barry "I'm not your mum?" she says looking at Dawn who just looked at Nora.

"You may as well" Nora said shyly

"Iris is not my mum, but you are my dad" Dawn says looking at Barry "I'm sorry I lied, it's just we didn't want to wreck the timeline even more."

Barry and Iris are adjusting to the news the just heard and then Nora says, "Now you will break up my family for the second time."

"You're the one that said it" Dawn said

"Classic Dawn nothing is your fault, and when something's wrong I'll just complain to my mummy and daddy" Nora said, "Well I couldn't do that, you run from your problems or give them away so someone else has to fix them" Dawn was going to cry, and Barry and Iris were still shocked but when he snapped out of his trance he stopped the argument.

"Hey guys that's enough" Barry said separating them "You guys need to get along you are still sisters"

"Maybe, but I want her out" Nora said

"Me too" Iris said

"Iris" Barry said

"No, they're right" Dawn said, "I've caused enough problems already" and she walked out the door crying. Went to Star Labs and thought no one would be there, she ran to the pipeline and just cried. Caitlin was the only one in Star Labs as she was working late, and Cisco had a date. She went towards the sound and saw Dawn crying in the pipeline. Caitlin went to go hug sit down and hug her.

"Hey you, ok?" Caitlin asked

"I screwed everything up, now they know, and Nora hates me even more" Dawn said chocking on her words, and she couldn't even finish so Caitlin wrapped her in another hug. They stayed like that until Dawn calmed down. "Thank you" Dawn said, and Caitlin let go so she could see Dawns face.

"No problem" Caitlin said

"I am sorry for troubling you" Dawn said

"Not at all" Caitlin said, "Are you going to go back to the loft?"

"No, I was going to sleep in the lounge" Dawn said

"No" Caitlin said

"No?" Dawn questioned

"You going to stay with me until everything gets sorted out" Caitlin said

"You do know I'm a speedster right" Dawn said

"I don't care, come one. I'm not going to let you be by yourself, I have a spare bedroom and everything" Caitlin said

"Are you sure it won't be too much trouble?" Dawn asked

"Of course, not I could use the company" Caitlin said, and Dawn got up and they drove to Caitlin's car into her apartment. When they walked in Caitlin got a message from her phone from Barry.

Hey, I can't find Dawn anywhere and I'm really worried about her Do you know where she is?

She's at my house. I found her at Star Labs she was pretty upset.

A few second later there was a knock on the door. Caitlin went to go answer it and Dawn was sitting on the couch. It was Barry standing there but before he did anything Caitlin asked, "What happened?" and they talked outside.

"We found out that Iris isn't Dawns mum, but I am her dad" Barry said "Nora and Iris both wanted her to leave, and I just feel so bad"

"You just need to go talk to her make her feel loved that's all she wants and that shouldn't be hard because I can see you love her" Caitlin said

"Is it weird? I haven't even known her that long, but I love her so much" Barry said

"Go tell her" Caitlin said with a smile. Barry then walked in the room.

"Hey" he said to get her attention

"Hey dad" Dawn said

"I'm so sorry for the way Iris and Nora were treating you that is totally not fair, I want you to know that no matter what I still love you." Barry said

"Why are you sorry? I'm the one that should be apologising, I screwed everything up, made everything worse maybe Nora is right maybe I do screw up everything" Dawn said putting her face in her hands

"Hey, you do not screw everything up, I don't know everything that happens in the future, but I know that you are a good person who just made a mistake. That's all." Barry said

"Thank you" Dawn said and Barry gave her a hug "Thank you for thinking the worst of me"

"Always" he said, and she smiled. When the separated from the hug Barry asked, "Are you going to come to the loft?"

"No, I uh, I can't face them yet" Dawn said

"Ok" Barry said

"She can stay here" Caitlin said walking in as he knew what Barry was going to ask.

"Were you eavesdropping?" Barry asked

"No" Caitlin said and looked away and biting her lower lip

"Your no looking at me and you're biting your lower lip so you are lying" Barry said going closer to Caitlin

"It was a very nice father daughter moment" she complimented, and they laughed.

"Ok I'll come first thing in the morning" Barry said

"Noon" Caitlin mumbled, and Dawn laughed

"Excuse you" Barry said

"What?" Caitlin pretended to be oblivious

"I am coming for you Dr Snow" Barry said teasing to Caitlin

"You can try all you want Allen but will fail miserably" Caitlin said and then Barry got a text from Iris

"Alright I got to go" Barry said "Bye"

"Bye" Both Dawn and Caitlin said just spending their time together until they had to go to bed.
