Title: Falling for each other
A silhouette could be spotted in the sky, leaping from cloud to cloud. It zoomed past birds, airplanes and some bats.
Some would think it is a fairy, a super hero.
But no, Arin was not all that. Tho belonging to a magical species. Arin was different. Her family has trained her to be an assassin. A weapon.
She never lived a normal life. She had always spent her life training away.
~
There stood a girl, standing by a lake. Gazing into the sky. She flicked her wrist, leaves entangled her, forming a blanket sheet covering her.
She touched the plant as if to say 'thank you'. The plant wrapped its vines around the girls hand and retracted, going back to its lifeless form.
Binnie, she had always been a nature girl. Judging by her power. She never had a family, instead, she grew up in the woods. Isolated from modern society.
Her time spent here without judgemental thoughts had lead her to a more calm and open mind.
She had learnt to appreciate everything, from rabbits coming up to her to birds chirping. She had always been one with nature.
As she walked through the pathways in the forest which she grew accustomed of, she spotted a silhouette of a girl running through the sky. It was unseeable from the naked eye of a human due to its speed.
But Binnie, she saw clearly. She immediately reached out to her horse beside her. Or, what seemed like a horse.
The horse neighed, revealing its angelic like wings. It bent down and allowed Binnie to climb on.
Binnie patted the horse as it took off into the air.
She chased after the figure like a mouse chasing a rat.
Tailing behind the figure, Binnie whispered some words. Vines grew as it latched onto the being, dragging it down.
Binnie and her horse ascended. Landing safely on the ground.
"Berry, stay here." Binnie whispered. The pegasus slumped its shoulders but obeyed and sat down waiting for its owner to return.
She slowly walked up to the figure.
She reached out her hand but was shocked when the figure latched onto her hand.
"Don't touch me." The girl said.
Binnie froze, she shivered. A chill running down her spine as she retracted her hand. She looked into the soulless eyes of the girl.

"Let's get you somewhere safe." Binnie muttered. The girl wanted to fight back, but her energy was drained from her flight. She had no choice but to go with the stranger.
"Berry, you know where to go girl." Binnie said calmly. Berry nodded as she spread her wings and took off. Flying to a nearby oak tree. Binnie didn't forget to thank the plants for their help.
Arin PoV
I had never seen such a caring girl in my life. The only girl I knew was my mother. She wasn't very caring.
Treating me like trash, not as her child but a killing machine.
I wanted to fight back but a part of me wanted to escape. Escape from that horrid home of mine. Be free.
After all these years, I still cannot forgive myself for the killings. I should be immune to it. But I can't. The people I killed had lives. They had futures, they had hope. Unlike me, they had something to live for.
And to take that away from them made me hate myself. Hate my family. Hate my life.
But I couldn't let go of it. Killing myself would be to admit that I have nothing to live for.
I let these thoughts drown me. After awhile, we reached an oak tree.
The branches extended long and the leaves were stable. Almost stable enough for me to walk on them.
The pegasus flew down to the branch on the tree. It retracted its wings and hid them under the furry coat it was covered with.
The girl thanked her horse and the tree before taking me off and bringing me inside.
She once again thanked the tree. This girl is really grateful. I must say, she is one of the most kind person I had ever seen.
She untied the vines on my hands. She had thought I would run away and was shocked when I didnt.
"Would you like food?" She asked. I nodded shyly as I looked away. I haven't been asked that question before. I was used to being thrown a piece of bread.
She whipped up a salad and placed it in front of me.
"I don't use meat. Its torture for the animals. We can survive on plant, so we should." She explained, thinking that I was weirded out by he vegetarian diet.
"Thank you, I havent had a proper meal before" I muttered. Bowing my head in thanks.

She gasped, she walked up to me and lifted my head.
She could notice the emptiness in my eyes. Her eyes filled with sympathy as she came closer.
I could feel my heart beat increase, my mind clouded. I couldn't think straight nor move.
She hugged me. I was like a deer caught in headlights. I couldn't move. This is the first time someone hugged me.
"Th-ank- you-" I said. I choked back my tears.
"Hey, if you need anyone. I'm here. Although I did somewhat kidnap you so-" I cut her off by engulfing her in a hug.
The sudden movement made her blush which I found cute.
"Ah...you might wanna kick me out for this." I said. This was the reason my parents kicked me out to.
This night, when I was jumping from cloud to cloud? It wasn't because I was assigned on another task. It was because I was leaving home.
"Hmm?" She hummed. I glanced away, guilt consumed me.
I chucked my words out, "I'm g-gay ."
The girl just laughed. I looked at her confused.
"Love is love, who cares what gender. You're silly to think I would throw you out because of that." She scoffed. A sudden weight was lifted of my chest.
I smiled softly at her. Even I confused myself. I had never smiled at anyone before, nor a stranger.
She is something. Something special.
"Hey..." she said. She came to me and sat down beside me.
She muttered something and the vines began creating some sort of nest.
She grabbed my hand and walked me to it.
She thanked the vines and laid on the vine, patting the spot beside her.
I cautiously laid down on the vines. Surprisingly, it was rather cozy, it gave me a sense of warmth my family couldn't provide me with.
The vines could sense it. It tightened its grip on me, not in a way that made me feel threatened but in a way that made me feel loved.
Nature is amazing. I stared at the sleeping beauty next to me. Completely mesmerised by the beauty of her face. I memorized the structure of her face. Unconsciously smiling.
I felt this fuzzy feeling in my chest. Was it love? I had never felt this before.
I then felt the vines touch me. It was as to say 'crush.' I smacked the vines playfully (I swear I'm not crazy) the vines retracted and slapped me back. I giggled as I laid back onto the vines.
Touching it and communicating. It seemed to understand me. It was like a caring sister to me.
Who knew nature was this amazing. Nature created her. What could be more amazing?
Binnie PoV.
In the morning, I yawned as I carefully got out of bed. To my surprise, the girl was not there.
"Hey." I heard from behind me. I jumped in surprise as I clutched my heart.
"Oh my god! You nearly gave me a heart attack!" I exclaimed. The girl chuckled. She walked past me to grab a tray of salad.
I smiled at her, she remembered.
"Let's eat." She calmly said. She touched the vines which were following her. She gave it water and some fertilizers before she "ushered" the plant back to its place.
This girl truly has a thing with nature.
She ate her salad quietly. I couldn't help but smile as I looked at her she was perfect in every way shape and form.
I am so lucky to meet her. Shes so cute- wait, am I in love. That moment, I caught sight of the plant bobbing up and down.
I glared at it and giggled.
Nature is amazing, huh.
I glanced back at her. She had finished and was cleaning up.
She was washing the dishes. I carefully got up and back hugged her.
"Hey..." I said as I nuzzled in the crook of her neck. I could sense her face heating up, I smirked. I have a chance!
I tightened my grip and slowly lifted my head.
I flipped her around so that she was facing me.
She gasped. Her face red.
"I like you." I blurted out.
"I dont even know your name"
"Binnie, but you can call me love."
"Mines Arin. Well, love. I like you too." She said. I felt my heart doing back flips
I broke out into a goofy smile and kissed her. I poured out my feelings as I could feel the vines clapping and congratulating.
We parted, both gasping for air.
"You made me fall in love within 2 days, Arin"
" I fell in love with you since the first day, love"
In the end, we fell for each other.
