《LET ME IN (ENHYPEN FF)》21~ramen

Hours had past and the GROUNDERS and I were still working our asses off in the practise room. Seeing the girls' with so much passion and determination began to slowly rub off onto me and before I knew it, I was improving at an insanely quick rate.
"Yes girls! That was good! Let's take it from the top again." spoke Haeun as she pointed the remote to the speaker.
These girls were really no joke. The speed in which they were improving is absolutely insane but unfortunately the show doesn't give them enough screen-time, ending them up in the GROUND. Despite this, I found that the GROUNDERS are just as or even more passionate than the I-LANDERS. Every practice they give 110% and on top of this, the environment is so uplifting and supportive.
Even if not all of us make our debut on this show, I hope that wherever our future plans take us, we will be happy and never give up.
All of a sudden there was a knock on the door. One of the girl's went to open it and looking at their facial expression, they were quite shocked.
"Hey, Is Soojin around?" spoke a familiar voice.
Whilst the girl's all squealed like fan-girls, I peeked my head to look at the boy and my eyes soon met with one of the ENHYPEN members.
"Heesung???"
•••
Man. It's been way too long since I've seen that adorable face.
I carefully pushed my way through the other GROUNDERS and soon made my way to the shocked girl on the floor in the corner. I gave her a widened smile and waved to her with both hands enthusiastically.
"Miss me?" I teased falling to sit down next to her.
The still flabbergasted girl stared at me with large round eyes before cutely coming back to her senses and speaking.
"Yah Heesung oppa! What are you doing here? Won't you get in trouble?" she exclaimed with fear in her expression.
I laughed at her concerned outburst as I brought my hand to her head and patted her silky hair.
"Nah. How could they tell off the one and only Lee Heesung?"

I watched as her concerned face turned to one of annoyance as she rolled her eyes at my cocky remark.
Geez.
That was kind of sexy.
I shook my head at my immature thoughts and looked back at the small girl holding her hands together cutely. I watched as her uncomfortable gaze slowly moved to the other giggling girls in the room.
Oh oops.
I completely forgot they were here.
Thinking to myself, I finally came up with an idea and placed my hand on the girl's leg catching her attention.
"How about I take you back to the I-LAND and we hang out a little there?" I suggested to the girl with hope in my tone.
I analysed her expression carefully before she soon succumbed to my intense gaze and nodded her head hesitantly.
"Okay but I'm blaming you if we get in trouble."
I smiled as I gripped her hand into mine and dragged her through the crowd of screaming girls and outside the facility.
•••
After hearing Heesung's mention of him going to visit Soojin in the GROUND, I made it a priority to try and beat him to her. Completely ignoring the strict protocols of moving between the two facilities, the desire to meet the girl again was too overpowering.
I peeked into the arcade room where I saw Heesung putting on his shoes, supposedly getting ready to go to the GROUND. I smiled at the sight as I realised that if I went now, I would beat him there. Excited about my plan, I quickly made my way to the exit of the I-LAND.
However to my despair, as I was passing the lounge, I felt a pair of hands grip my waist from behind.
"Jake oppa!"
I groaned at the voice as I turned around and faced the short-haired girl.
"Misun. How many times do I have to tell you, please don't call me that." I told the girl in a stern manner.
I turned back around to continue my venture before once again being stopped by the rather bothersome girl.
"My bad. How about I make it up to you? Shall I make us some ramen?" she asked strangely blinking.

I sighed.
Geez.
Eating ramen is the Korean equivalent to Netflix and chill.
This act is saved for Park Soojin only.
I shook my head at the girl as I turned down her bold offer with slight attitude.
"Look Misun. I need to be somewhere very important so if you could, please do not bother me." I spoke boldly to her.
The girl suddenly outburst in whines as she punched my chest with her fists lightly.
"Jakeeee! Why won't you let me do something for you just this once?!" she cried as I tried my best to pry her touchy hands off my body.
Before I could protest, I caught a glimpse of Heesung from the corner of my eye, making his way downstairs.
Are you kidding me?
I can't believe it.
He beat me again.
I slumped in defeat as I felt a sense of deja vu from when I found Heesung hugging Soojin backstage. Watching the boy's figure slowly disappear I fell backwards onto the couch and stared into nothing.
"Yay! I take that as a yes! I'll go cook the ramen!" the girl irritatingly screeched as I felt her hands remove from my chest.
Dammit Heesung.
Must you always have everything?
Of all the girls you could like,
Why does it have to be Soojin?
A few minutes had passed of me sitting in defeat and clouded by my thoughts, oblivious to the girl opposite me trying to get me to speak.
"Oppa are you not going to eat your ramen? Want me to feed you?" her high-pitched voice rang in my ear.
Continuing to ignore the girl, I blankly picked up the bowl and chopsticks from the table, and began slurping the plain tasting noodles into my mouth.
This is the worst ramen I've ever tasted.
How can you manage to mess up the easiest dish ever to exist?
Overwhelmed by my depressing thoughts I accidentally flicked some of the ramen broth onto my face.
"Aw you got some on your face! Let me clean it for you!" the girl giggled as she brought her finger to my chin and wiped it a bit too intimately.
In shock of the girl invading my personal space, I watched as she girl suddenly leaned forward and placed her lips onto mine.
Eyes widened and disgusted, I froze in shock, unable to move.
"Ahem."
My eyes darted to the side of the room where I noticed Heesung and a familiar girl standing with her hands over her mouth.
Finally realising what was happening, I harshly pushed the girl off me and quickly wiped my lips with the back of my hand.
"SOOJIN IT'S NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE." I yelled as I locked my gaze with her's of hurt and sadness.
No no no
Please don't look at me like that.
Please don't make me accept the fact that I really hurt you.
I watched as her glistening orbs began watering in the corners. Her facial expressions displaying emotions of pain and sorrow.
"Come on Soojin, let's go." the older boy stated as he picked up the girl's lifeless arm and pulled her gently into the hall.
Feeling resentment, anger and shame, I finally turned my head to the infuriating girl next to me.
"KIM MISUN. I'm going to tell you this for the final time. DO NOT bother me EVER AGAIN. Get yourself away from me and STOP interfering with me and Soojin." I scolded with complete rage and fury.
"O-oppa..."
I gripped my forehead in utter annoyance as I lashed out at the girl.
"And for the last time. DO NOT CALL ME OPPA."
I breathed heavily in anger as I watched the teary-eyed girl rush her way back into her room audibly crying.
I mentally cursed at the girl internally and crashed onto the couch. My gaze roamed to the hall in which Heesung brought Soojin into. A feeling of loss and frustration washed over me as my mind wandered to the things they may be doing together.
Soojin-ah
Please tell me this isn't the end.
I still have a chance right?
