"I refuse." was Leona's immediate response to Jack's suggestion of the Ramshackle Duo staying with them,"You didn't have to answer so quickly..." Jack and y/n sweatdrop at his response,"We don't allow pets in this dorm. Cause they'll shed everywhere." Leona points to Grim.

"Bullshit! You've got way more hair than me!" Grim glares at him,"That is that and this is this." Ruggie shrugs and y/n sends him a smile,"Hey Ruggie." she greets and then eyes his bandaged arm,"Yo, y/n." Ruggie nods in her direction.

"Pretty much." Leona crosses his arms, continuing with Ruggie's words,"We haven't cleaned the empty rooms in months and they've just become junk collectors for the residents. Where do you plan to put the two of them?" he asks Jack as he points to y/n and Grim.

"... Ah, I've got it." Ruggie snaps his fingers as his ears perk up,"We can put them in Leona's room." he suggests,"Huuuuuh!?" everyone gives him flabbergasted looks,"Choose your words carefully, Ruggie. You want your mouth sewn shut?" Leona threatens with narrowed eyes.

"But Leona, you should be used to having servants in your room. If you make them take care of you, it'll work as their payment then it's a Win-Win." Ruggie explains,"Grrr... Ruggie, why you..." Leona growls before his eyes trail over to y/n.

"Oh no~ My injury from the magift tournament is still bugging me quite a bit~" Ruggie hisses as he holds his arm,"I worked so hard that I had to drink a potion in order to restore my magic. I even went as far as putting my life on the line for you." he guilt trips smoothly,"My condition will get better much faster if these guys were to help take care of you." he says convincingly and Leona feels his eyelid twitch with annoyance.

"... Tch, you're a shrewd one." he comments,"So rude, I'm not lying. Shishishi!" Ruggie snickers mischievously before sending y/n a wink secretly.

Suddenly Leona turns to y/n and pokes her forehead,"But I'm not going to let you near me that easily." he declares before stepping back,"Hey boys, get out here!" he calls out and three Savanaclaw residents stepped up with menacing smirks,"You called, Dorm Head?" Savanaclaw A asks,"Aren't you the ones who came to spy on us before the Magift Tournament?" Savanaclaw B cracks his knuckles,"The prey that got away came back on her own! Hehhheh!" Savanaclaw C cackles.

"If you can beat these residents then I'll have no problem letting you stay as the help. Even if it's only for three days, I'm not letting any weaklings into Savanaclaw." Leona reasons and y/n sighs with an exhausted expression,"We're really doing this? This late at night?" she grumbles.

"There's always the option of you guys sleeping in a tree somewhere." Leona smirks smugly and y/n sighs loudly,"Fiiine..." she whines before dropping her bag and taking a few steps away from the Savanaclaw challengers,"Uh, what're you doing y/n?" Ruggie asks before they all tense up at the sight of her pulling out her gun.

"Heh, same trick again? Don't kid yourself Herbivore. That won't work on us again." Leona tells her with confidence and before anyone could say or think what had happened, the three Savanaclaw challengers fell to the ground clutching their legs,"Shit!" Savanaclaw A curses,"It was loaded!?" Savanaclaw C screeches,"Ugh..." B groans in pain.

"The hell!?" Ruggie and Leona gives the girl ridiculous looks while y/n dangles her gun on her finger with a raised brow and pursed lips,"Never. Ever. Mess with a girl tired of everyone's shit." she tells them.

Leona clicks his tongue,"Getting your asses handed to you by some herbivore..." he glares at his fallen comrades,"Don't disgrace me." he sneers,"Kyaa! We're sorry!" Savanaclaw A screams in fright.

"Are... They're not bleeding." Jack notes,"Yeah, I took some steps back to avoid penetration. They'll have nasty bruises though." y/n reassures him as she puts her gun away.

"A promise is a promise! We're gonna stay here for three days!" Grim grins smugly in victory,"Grrr..." Leona growls before stepping closer to y/n and leans in close to her face,"Tch... If you're even the slightest bit noisy, I'll throw you out before the three days are up. Got it?" he says lowly,"Crystal, Your Majesty." y/n grins teasingly, earning her another growl.

Grim sighs with relief,"At least we avoided sleeping outside." he smiles up at y/n, who picks up her bag again,"Jack, take some spare futons up to Leona's room." Ruggie requests,"Roger." Jack nods before running off.

"... Shishishi! Lucky~ This makes my life easier for the next three days." Ruggie grins widely as he walks off,"That ass... I can hear you. Be prepared." Leona calls after him before turning to an exhausted y/n,"... Hey, dumb herbivores. Follow me. No loitering." he nods his head to the entrance and the Ramshackle Duo follows after him.

Leona's room is big and fancy, but... It's super messy,"Wow. This feels like a wild man's room. Y'know?" Grim says with awe as he explores the room while y/n sets up their futons,"Stop scampering about." Leona huffs in annoyance as he falls onto his own bed.

"I'm going to sleep... If you disturb me I'll eat you. Grrr..." he immediately drifts off to sleepy land,"H-He fell asleep in three seconds!" Grim whispers with wide eyes,"Let's keep quiet so we don't wake him. I don't want a scolding from him. Ever." y/n whispers before going to bed as well.

Hours later, late at night, the mirror in Ramshackle Dorm glowed just as bright as all the nights. But, this is unknown to anyone and y/n, who was stirring in her sleep again.

When her eyes snapped open, she found herself in a pitch black world,"Where am I? Why's it so dark?" her voice echoes before seeing the familiar mermaid at the end of the dark tunnel. Y/n gasps when she sees strange creatures on the bottom floor of the tunnel, all with miserable faces.

"Come in my sweet princess." a voice beckons the princess further in,"I came here because I love people so much." the princess says and the scene changes to a female octopus mermaid standing before a shell-like cauldron. She was also a bit... On the heavier side.

"The... Sea Witch?" y/n tilts her head and squints her eyes a bit,"Here's the deal. I'll make you a potion that will turn you into a human for three days." the witch says as two eels float near her.

"You have to make that prince fall in love with you in that time." she says and y/n feels that same dull headache in the back of her mind,"That sounds really familiar." she mumbles, remembering her own deal with Azul.

"And there's on more thing. We haven't discussed the subject of payment." a contract appears before them,"What I want from you is, your voice! Go ahead and sign the scroll!" the witch shoves the contact into the princess's face, who immediately signs it with a boney fish quill.

"I'll help you, you poor unfortunate soul!" the witch cackles as the contract glowed for a moment and y/n's shoulders tenses up,"No! Wait!" she reaches for the contract, but all she's met with is air.

Y/n blinks a couple of times before realizing that she's back in Leona's room with her hand outstretched above her,"Another weird dream, huh? Ugh, I just can't." she covers her face a sigh before going back to sleep.

The next morning, y/n sits up in bed with pursed lips and drowsy eyes,"Another mermaid dream... And a deal apparently." she yawns and smacks her lips together before looking down at a sleeping Grim and then a sleeping Leona.

"Hey! G'morning!" Ruggie suddenly bursts into the room, startling y/n greatly,"Leona, time to get up." he stands before the lazy lion's bed before glancing at y/n,"You two should get up and wash your faces too." he tells them,"Morning to you too, Ruggie." y/n greets after calming down.

"Mmgah. Morning already?" Grim arose from his sleep and glances sleepily at the clock nearby,"... It's still only 6:00!" he whines,"Why the early morning wake up call?" y/n asks as she gets out of bed and ruffles her messy hair,"We have morning magift practice in Savanaclaw. As long as you're staying here, you're gonna join in." Ruggie explains as he gives the girl her hair brush along with a head pat.

"Wha... Morning practice?" Grim repeats,"We've been doing it since the Magift Tournament." Ruggie tells them with a smile,"... Hmmmm, shuddup... Grruugh..." Leona mumbles in his sleep, not bothering to even open his eyes or glance at them.

"Leona! Don't fall back to sleep!" Ruggie scolds as he drags Leona out of bed by his leg, surprising the Ramshackle Duo,"Whoa, Ruggie has no fear, huh?" y/n sweatdrops, stopping her brushing actions,"Ruggie is supposed to be the underling, but he just yanked Leona outta bed by his leg." Grim says with wide eyes.

"Hmm guh... Hhhuh..." even after that, Leona refuses to wake up,"Even after that, he's still not awake. What a stubborn cat." y/n mumbles as she peers down at Leona,"You gotta be pretty brash to do something like that, Ruggie. I'm impressed." she praises the bashful hyena.

The Ramshackle Duo soon found themselves outside on the Magift field of Savanaclaw,"Ohh. You guys joining morning practice?" Jack approaches them,"Apparently." y/n smiles awkwardly,"We wanted to keep sleeping, but Ruggie dragged us here." Grim whines,"He carried me... Again." y/n deadpans with a sigh.

"You might as well, since we're gonna have a scrimmage match. Gotta coach the fresh-babies, too." Ruggie pats her back as Leona stands in front of everyone, dressed in his PE clothes and hair tied into a ponytail.

He yawns as he spins the disc on his finger,"I'm gonna fall asleep standing here. Let's get started." he announces the start of practice before yawning again as y/n ties her own hair up.

"That guys still yawning, this'll be a cinch." Grim boasts and Leona sends him a smirk,"Hah. I could take you all on in my sleep." he says confidently,"Let's begin!" Ruggie shouts and Leona immediately tosses the disc towards one of the residents.

Though Jack has been doing great with snatching and scoring points on the field,"Jack, you're flying all over the place this morning like usual." Ruggie grins,"I don't hold back, no matter the competition. Please give me everything you got!!" Jack grins with a challenging look in his eyes.

"Uughh, you're really something..." Ruggie groans before they all stared wide eyed as y/n sneakily snatches the disc from Jack and immediately books it,"Mine now!" she cackles as Jack gave chase,"You're not bad... Both of you..." Leona yawns as y/n scores a point before being tackled by Jack,"Ack!" she yelps.

Grim was quick to retrieve the disc,"Alright! Time for my killer-explosive-shot!!" he grins widely before seeing everyone stopping the game,"I finally shook off some grogginess." Leona stretches his neck as Jack helps y/n up.

"That's it for morning practice today." Ruggie announces,"I learned a lot from it!" Jack claims with proud eyes,"Yeah, like how to not tackle the non-magical girl?" y/n says sarcastically and Jack flinches at this before looking away sheepishly,"What!? I wanna keep playing!" Grim whines.

"Give it up Grim, we're done." y/n tells him and Grim sighs and tosses the disc away before running to walk next to her,"Working out first thing in the morning feels better than I thought." he admits as y/n stretches her arms above her head,"I have to agree with you! I feel so refreshed and awake." she smiles.

"Right? I woke up an hour earlier to go jogging." Jack smiles,"I-I think that might be going overboard." Grim sweatdrops,"So this means Savanaclaw is already getting ready for next year's Inter Dorm Magift Tournament? You're gonna make great rivals." he grins wholeheartedly,"I'm really impressed by ya'll's dedication." y/n smiles proudly.

"Ahh, that's right. Ya'll don't know about that, do you? There's a tournament that's even bigger every year in May." Ruggie tells them,"Ffgna!? There are tournaments bigger than the Inter Dorm?" Grim asks,"The Inter High Tournament." Leona reveals to them.

"Inter High?" y/n mumbles before remembering Che'nya,"Ah, that's right! I forgot there's another school around here." she chirps and Ruggie nods,"Like the name says, it's a Magift Tournament between different schools." he explains.

"Our school is pitted against Royal Sword Academy every year." Leona frowns with narrowed eyes,"Hoohh, we've heard that name before!" Grim says,"A friend of ours goes there." y/n tells them.

"There are a bunch of different schools dedicated to magic in Twisted Wonderland, but Night Raven College and Royal Sword Academy are called 'the two great schools of magic'. They're that prestigious." Ruggie explains with pride.

"What kind of school is Royal Sword Academy?" Grim asks,"A school filled with only pompous flower boys." Leona spat with a mocking smirk,"Shishishi! Yeah, yeah. From the building to the uniforms it's all grossly shiny. A white uniform is going to show the smallest stain, y'know? I don't care how prestigious it is, I wouldn't go even if they asked." Ruggie claims with crossed arms and y/n gives them a stern glare.

"But hasn't Night Raven College lost to them in the Inter High Tournament for the past 100 years?" Jack asks and y/n snorts, but quickly covers it up with a cough,"Guh, th-that's...! It's only been 99 losses! This year makes 100 and we're definitely going to crush them." Ruggie declares with determined eyes.

"The feeling I got from watching them play on TV was... The individual plays from the Royal Sword Academy players were great, but more than that... Their team plays were especially impressive." Jack utters with a hum,"Now I wanna watch it." y/n admits.

"Hm? Hold on. An Inter High means... Other dorms can play against Royal Sword Academy, not just Savanaclaw?" Grim asks,"That's right. Tryouts are held and the team is made from students from any dorm." Leona explains.

"How much do I wanna bet that a lot of you guys butt heads with each other." y/n deadpans and Leona sighs,"Last year, everyone fought over which position they wanted and it caused a huge scene." he reveals,"Knew it~" y/n smiles smugly and Leona gives her an unimpressed look.

"That's what I like to hear! You gotta steal the position you want with power! I'm totally gonna get picked to be on the school team!" Grim's eyes glimmer at the thought as his imagination ran wild. Y/n couldn't help but smile softly at him.

"That means you have to train daily to become a starting player and show off your skill." Jack ruins his imagination with the hard truth,"I think I'll stick to the friendlier matches." y/n chirps,"Your chances of being on TV are much higher than the Inter Dorm, so it's great time to sow off your abilities!" Ruggie grins widely.

"How to weed out the competition and get my seat as a starting player? I'll have to start mulling it over now." Leona mumbles to himself with a smirk,"The Inter High Tournament and Royal Sword Academy, huh? This oughtta be thrilling." y/n smiles to herself at the thought of seeing something like that.
