The wizard stood in the castle courtyard. The summoning ritual was almost complete. The dismembered body parts were laid around the pentagram, made of the victim's blood, in the correct order.

"Tenebris spiritus, ego te coco. Ego non erit dominus ante vos," he cried. A tornado formed in the middle of the pentagram, and changed shape into a floating black cloud.

"You have summoned me," it said in it's haunting voice.

"I have, my liege. I will have no master before you," he said.

"You will not," the spirit said. He passed through the wizard and flew towards the castle, while the wizard lay on the floor, struggling to breathe and just barely clinging to life.

"What have I done?" the wizard whispered to himself.
