《A Girls' Night w/ BTS》18

Leah takes a long exaggerated huff. The girls look at her.
"In my opinion, finding the courage is not easy. Y'all probably found the courage. Rahab had the courage to save her people and her family from danger, but Leah was used and betrayed by her own family as I was. It's never good when you find out there's strings attached. It's even worse when you find out you're the puppet. They wait for you to break so they can take advantage of the pieces.
You don't think about fitting in. What you really think about is fitting in to be loved by someone else. I was in love with a man and gave him my all, but it's exhausting trying to fight for someone's love who doesn't show it. I'm tired of trying to force love. I feel like I deserve more than that and Leah did too." Leah puffs out, frustrated.
"Waaaait. what happened with Leah?"
"Well, like me, she found a way to cope with what she truly felt. But truthfully, she was hurting on the inside. See..." Leah said sadly.
"She said she was okay and you believed her?
Let me tell you what really wrong with her.
She's tired.
Thats exactly what she is, tired.
She's tired of getting hurt
She's tired of being let down
She's tired of all the lies
She's tired of holding it all in
She tired of feeling broken, damaged,
worthless, never good enough, pain
She tired of all of her flaws and insecurities
She's tired of trying
She's tired of getting her hopes up
She's tired of being treated like crap
She's me
I am tired of everyone treating me as a piece of crap
I am tired of being stressed about everything
I AM TIRED...."
"She's Tired" by Alyssa Nichole
"I'm just tired..." Leah slowly pushes out.
All the girls look at her agreeing to her statement. Esther move Leah near her as all the girls group hug.
After they all let go, they take a deep breath.
Eve concur, "I can understand that sis."
"I understand that, but, sadly, we can't control how another person feels. He chose your sister; he loved your sister. Jacob is trash period. However, when it comes to your significant other, you can never force love. No matter how much you love someone, you can't force them to love you." Rahab reproves..
Leah sighs and lays on the floor as the girls look at her hopelessly.
Rahab's right..
Rebecca looked baffled.
"Pause." Rebecca suddenly outburst. "Leah had a husband who loved her sister more than he loved her? And you went through that too. Yikes, I can't beee y'all. The minute I found out that my man wanted somebody else, I would have dipped off so fast."
"Exactly. God don't play about that and Ruth don't play either." Ruth said with a dont-play-with-me face.
The girls chuckled, even Leah.
Eve palming her face "look I'm with y'all on that, but think about it though.
They say you're blinded with what you feel
Warned not to fall too deep
But what can you do right now
When you already drowning

With that thing called Love"
(by Z)
Shara agreed with Eve on that.
Taylor look down sad because she doesn't know what love even feels like.
"You are blinded by love because that's all that is shown to you, while all the bad is camouflaged." Eve says gradually lowering her voice.
"The thing is we put ourselves in those situations. The signs were already there. God already showed us, but we choose to take heed or ignore. I have been hurt too so don't get me wrong, but we can't blame anyone else but ourselves. I have to say this though. The sister? Family? Like is he serious? Ruth, you never told me this." Rebecca said shocked and serious.
Leah huffs sadly.
"Sis, you don't have to know everything." Ruth nonchalantly gives Rebecca the 'really' look.
And...I invited you because?
"True but this ain't okay! We are more than options and leftovers." Rebecca flinging her arms, slapping the floor.
Leah still laying on the floor, "Leah was tricked by her father, Laban, and she slept with a man that didn't love her. Her man, Jacob, worked for Rachel, her sister, for fourteen years in total."
"Oh wow. I wish a man did that for me." Rebecca mocks.
"After Jacob found out it wasn't Rachel, he went back to Laban upset. Jacob asked why he tricked him. The father explained that he could not marry Rachel without taking the eldest daughter, who was Leah. Furthermore, their father took advantage of him by making him work seven more years for him after already done seven years. She wasn't loved, but used as a way to get more free labor for her father. Same for me.."
"That's crazy man." Esther feeling vexed for Leah.
"That's wild. This is why women get hurt now." Rebecca adds, getting worked up.
"Right Rebecca and that's why Leah is wasting her time with Jacob now." Rahab balling her fist a bit, while asking Shara to get her another drink.
Shara nods and goes to the kitchen to get a cup and drink.
The boys are getting tired hiding from the curtain. Hearing all of this is only making them angry. Jungkook let's out a deep sigh, breathing hard and Namjoon grabs his shoulders.
"It's gonna be okay bro. When you tell her, she won't have to deal with that dude anymore." Namjoon whispers, understand Jungkook's reaction. The guys direct their attention him, noticing that he is still breathing hard. Jungkook hopes Namjoon is right then looks back in the curtain.
"But at the same time, I get his choice."
They widen their eyes hoping that Leah didn't just say that. Jungkook clenches his fist and jaw a bit in anger.
She wouldn't be thinking this way if that sorry excuse for a man would do his job.
Jin held onto him to calm him down.
The girls give Leah a appalled expression like she crazy and Rebecca says, "Girl, don't say that."
"What the he-Leah?!" Rahab's voice slowly changing pitch from appalled to angry.
The girls jump on Leah for her statement telling her to chill out and stop. Even Taylor tells her don't say that. Shara shakes her head at Leah. Rahab thanks Shara for the drink and drinks some.

Leah gets up from the floor and keeps her empty look. "No, seriously."
"It doesn't hurt that you chose her. She's prettier than me, smarter than me, not broken like me. Her smile is bright like the sun, her eyes are as blue as the sea, and her laugh is like the melody of the most beautiful song I've ever heard. She's your favorite book, and I'm just a page of it. She's really the obvious choice. I'm happy for the two of you, honestly. Sometimes I seen you holding her, and it looks as if you're scared to let go. I seen her smile up at you, and I can just tell that she's lost in your eyes. I'm glad that you found love. It doesn't hurt that you chose her, but you wanna know what does? The fact that I almost had you. You almost loved me. You held me like that, and I smiled at you the same way she does now. But something happened, and suddenly you're all I can think about, when to you I'm just a distant memory."
"Rejections Corner" by Excerpt of Stories
"But my heart said choose me." All the girls say it together while in deep thought, except Shara and Taylor. It's as if they knew what each other would say.
Jungkook gets angrier as the boys caught on looking at him breathing loudly. They whispered him to calm down as Jungkook clenches his fists tightly.
"Kook you need to calm down. I know this is hard for all of us to hear because Leah doesn't deserve any of the pain she is getting. But you have to be in the right mind to tell her the truth and comfort her in all of this. She don't need angry Kook or bruised Jacob." Yoongi whispers to him in his ear. Kook relaxes his face and look at Yoongi and the others.
"We got you bro." Tae whispered. All the guys whisper yea. Kook breathes and smiles a bit, looking back in the room.
Esther comes closer to Leah and hugs her firmly. Leah hugs back as she lets out her tears she had been holding. The girls comfort her. "See...Leah, if you remember God saw that you were unloved. He saw you were rejected, isolated, and betrayed just as Leah in the Word. He knew that even if your family or husband didn't show you love that He genuinely could. He blessed you to show you that He wants you and loves you. He blessed Leah with many children, who later became the tribes of Israel. Don't forget that. He was blessing you with love unimaginable. He reminded me of that and I know He reminded you too. You are enough Leah." Esther spoke softly.
Leah looks up at Esther and smiles a bit. She loves her sisters so much. They always knew how to make her feel better.
The guys smile. Jungkook blushes thinking to himself.
Leah, my love, you are enough for God...and for me.
"You're right." Leah says calmly and wiping her tears.
"Leah, I get it. I know how that feels. It can be very lonely too." Ruth says, while tickling Leah. Leah laughs and begs her to stop. Ruth laughs and stop. She knows Leah is ticklish.
"Ruth, you got me and all of us!" All the girls laugh as well as the guys, but in a whisper tone.
"Yes. We got each other! Ya feel me?" Esther does a little two step. All the girls agree as Hannah do a little two-step and they all shout aye. Hannah stops dancing and they all high five her.
"Yes, I know I have all of y'all and I am truly grateful. The thing is we always look for true happiness in others. We even depend on them to make us happy. However, to be honest, happiness is found in Him, before we realize it in anybody else." Ruth says chuckling then serious.
"Yup and we talked about your story. Dedicated widow who chose to still take care of the mother in law, who decided to permanently live in a foreign land. You did that for your mother in law when you left Delaware to live in Baltimore." Rebecca cheers.
"It was the right thing in disguise." Ruth fans herself.
"Then, you got your Boaz. A win win." Rebecca coos. All the girls say okay sis and period Pooh.
Ruth blushes thinking about Boaz. She truly has a wonderful man. Namjoon rolls his eyes as Jimin notices and laughs in a whisper. All the boys turn to Jimin and said what yo. Jimin looks at Namjoon still laughing and said nothing. Namjoon gives him a stern look then looks at Hobi, who grabbed some chips when the boys weren't looking. All the boys look at him and laugh but then shut their mouths. Hobi smiles and continues eating.
The girls still cheering for Ruth, Ruth laughs at them. "You all are too much sometimes. Seriously, it can still be a rough journey and can get very lonesome at times. Girls, sometimes, God takes us through a lonely journey to learn and grow us."
"Sometimes you have no reason to stay,
and realize that's a perfect reason to go.
And that taking an entirely new way,
is the only method to grow.
If you're washed-on abeyance's bight,
and you feel decision's heavy heft:
To go to the left where nothing's right,
or the right where nothing's left.
Remember it doesn't matter where you proceed,
or which mountain you want to ascend.
It does not matter whether you succeed,
it is the journey that matters in the end."
"Journey to Happiness" by Carina
"We have to detach all so we can attach to Him. See, this journey comes with a price. When we decide to stay by God, we are choosing to let everything go as well." Ruth holds her hands together. All the ladies say yes and claps. They praised God for being the wonderful God He is.
Rebecca finishes praising and watches the girls. She is so happy she had met them. It's like she knew them for so long. They might know each other well yet; but, one thing Rebecca knew is they are her new sisters.
