"Our company is really good as well."Mr Jeon said with a smile."Jungkook is going to take over anyways after me, I'll be happy if you being his wife, could help him!"

"What do you think Y/N?" My dad asked me in turn.

"Okay.. I'll work with Golden Closet but I don't think I can be an assistant CEO just now? Like umm-"

"How about you assist Jungkook then?? We'll give you a few months, you assist Jungkook and learn from him then you can take your post?"

I nodded as I smiled at Mr Jeon agreeing with his offer.

Dinner was great, comfortable and not awkward as I thought it would have been but still I haven't talked to Jungkook anyways,so the awkwardness is yet to come.

The parents were having some kind of funny conversation as they settled themselves in the living room as I was trying to catch on what the conversation was really about.

"Y/N??" I hear Yoongi calling me out from the kitchen.

"What is it?" I asked as I get in the kitchen.

"Mom asked me to tell you to serve the ice cream!"

"Right! I got it!"

"Ohhhh here comes ice cream! I was craving for something sweet!" Mrs Jeon said smilingly as I served them ice cream.

"Ahh Jungkook is out on a call! Go give him some ice cream too!" My mom said.

Once out, I saw Jungkook walking on the lawn while talking with a serious expression on the phone.

"Yes! Just make sure to call them to confirm whether we are meeting or not. Okay! Good!"

He cuts the call and sighs before noticing my presence.

"Heyy!"Jungkook says.

" Uh um hi?"

Jungkook chuckles.

"I've got you ice cream!" I said.

"Thanks!"

"Umm let's uh go in?"

"hmmph! How have you been Y/N? It's been so long since I saw you!"

He definitely doesn't want to get back in.

"I'm good, fine yeah hehe.." I chuckled nervously. "How about you?"

"Good too! So? How do you feel about this?"

"Huh? About what?" I looked at him with a perplexed expression.

"me? And our wedding? This relationship?" He asked.

"Uh oh... I don't really know how to feel about this! My parents really like you, Yoongi likes you too! I guess I'm fine that everyone knows you well and likes you!" I shrugged.

"But everyone isn't going to get married to me right?"

I stared at him not knowing what to say. Was he trying to joke?

He laughs before saying.

"I'm kidding... I just want to know if you're fine with being with me? You know we don't have these feelings for each other! So are you fine marrying me knowing that I'm not in love with you?"

"I'm fine with it. I mean it's not like I have any feelings as well.."

"Oh really? You don't???" He asked.

Why should I be put in these embarrassing situations all the time. ughhhhh!

"Y/N?"

"Do you, Jungkook? For as long as I know, you've been into a serious relationship with your ex-girlfriend and I have no idea why you broke up and why are you choosing to marry someone you don't have feelings for. So let me ask you the same question, are YOU fine with this?"

" Yes I am! I wouldn't have said yes if I wasn't okay with my parents' decision. I know you, even if not really that much personally but I've basically seen you growing up, and you're one of the nicest, sweetest girls I've known."

"That doesn't mean that you like me."

"No it doesn't! But that doesn't mean that I hate you as well! I like you yes but not the way you'd want me to as my future wife."

"How do you know what I want?"

"I know you had a crush on me Y/N and that'd probably mean you'll have expectations from me now that I'm going to be your husband!"

"Y/N? JUNGKOOK?"

We rushed inside without saying another word to each other as we heard Yoongi's voice.

"We'll have to leave since I have an early flight tomorrow morning. We've all really enjoyed the dinner and our time here!" Mr Jeon said.

"We did!" Mrs Jeon added. "I'm sure Jungkook would like to take Y/N on a date, are you okay with-"

"Oh yes yes sure Mrs Jeon! They definitely should spend time with each other now that they are going to settle down soon." My mom replied.

"Right!! Let's meet around next week to fix a date for the engagement then?"

"Sure!"

"Y/N! I hope to see you by Thursday at Golden Closet then?" Mr Jeon asked.

"Yes! I'll be there!" I said smilingly.

"We shall head out now!" Mrs Jeon stated.

"Umm Y/N!"

"Yes?" I said as I turned to Jungkook. "What is it?"

"I'll pick you up tomorrow at six for our date, okay??"

"Huh yes yeah fine with me!"

I watched as their car disappeared from our view. A date with Jeon Jungkook.

Why did I agree.
