"Should we expect some good news from you then?" My mom asked making me choke on my drink.

"What are you talking about?" I cleared my throat.

"I don't know, kids? Did you have this conversation with Jungkook?"

"Mom, please! I'm trying to have a meal here, and you are just-"

"What?I'm asking my daughter if she wants to have kids, because I want some grandchildren." mom cuts me off.

Jungkook and I decided that we won't tell anyone about my pregnancy yet. We just wanted to keep this to ourselves for now.

"Well, Yoongs is here! Tadaaaaaa!"

"I'm talking about YOUR children."

"Well,I'm gonna have mine when I want to. "

"Alicia's daughter is having her second child already and she is the same age as you. You know how they are constantly asking me about you and-"

"I don't understand why does my personal life interests Alicia or any of your tea party friends, Mom."

My mother would always focus on what others want from her. If Nadia's daughter got a boyfriend, I should find mine too. If Alicia's daughter got married, I should settle down too. It's like she wants us to live according to how her friends are moving.

"Well, I'm just trying to-"

"If Alicia's daughter is having her second child, that's her life, her family and it's her business, why should I be concerned here? "

"Well it's time for you to think about having kids, Y/N. You're of age already -"

"That's for me to decide. I'm done with the food. I'd like to have my dessert, Jungkook might be on his way to pick me up."

"That's good, then! I'll ask him directly -"

"For God's sake Mom, pleaaase. You're not going to have this conversation with my husband, just stop it already."

I got up from my seat and head to the living room, to call Jungkook.

"I'm guessing the dinner didn't go well." Jungkook said as I closed the car door.

"What can you even expect.." I sighed.

"Put your seatbelts on, baby.." He said in a sweet voice.

As he drive, he keeps taking a glance at me then and now.

"What is it?" I asked.

"Can I ask what happened?"

"Ughh!" I sighed. "Mom was asking whether we are planning kids or not because her friend's daughter is having her second child already and they've been asking about me, so mom doesn't have any upgrades in my married life yet to share, so she's just pushing me to have children now."

"Why didn't you tell her that you are pregnant then?"

"I don't want to. I can't give her what she wants everytime, then she'll keep having her way with me."

"Well,aren't this going to be happening in a few months though? When she'll know you're pregnant?"

"Yeah, well let me enjoy the fact that I'm not giving her the satisfaction right now. She's always making me do stuffs just for her to have things to talk about or brag about at her next tea party."

"Okay.. Okay.."He placed his hand on mine." I'm going to get burgers and fries, you want? "

" Yes pleaaaase! I didn't finish my dinner at my parents' place. So my stomach is like just half full. "

He pulls over, and kisses me.

" You didn't give me my kiss earlier." He pouts.

"I'm sorry, I was in such a bad mood, I justmmhph" He cuts me off with a kiss again.

"Well, let's go, or I'll eat you if we stay any longer in the car." He pulls away from my lips.

"I don't think I'll mind." I smirked making him laugh.
