《》Chapter Three

Minato didn't seem to have a response, and honestly looking at him hurt the worse, and that was because he looked exactly as Naruto had right before I died. It was easy to forget that before Gaara became Kazekage that Minato was the youngest Kage ever.
That right now he was in his teens.
We remained silent the last few steps as I walked right up the gate before stopping being able to sense the fuinjutsu placed around the gates and house itself from where I stood.
"Hatake-san," I called out loudly even as my chakra pulsed erratically out of my control as my nerves grew. "Are you home?"
"You can sense the fuinjutsu," stated Minato face shifting to shock before turning to intrigue as he looked at me. "That's a very rare thing, to be that sensitive to chakra to be able to sense it even in fuinjutsu seals."
"So, you did decide to come," called out Sakumo breaking the moment and allowing me a reprieve from Minato's scrutiny. "Here let me see your hand."
My own surprise appeared as I offered my hand with some wariness only for him to place a cut upon the pad of my thumb before swiping across a fuinjutsu matrix that had appeared on the gate door. He was keying me into his fuinjutsu matrix that protected his home from invasion, I had not seen that coming at all.
It was a great show of trust that he was allowing to have such access to his home.
"Was that wise?" I couldn't help but ask forgetting to act like a normal four-year-old, then again Kakashi wasn't a normal one by any means as well so Sakumo should be used to it.
"You stuck up for me when even my own comrades had looked the other way," answered Sakumo making Minato flinch. "So yes, I trust you to have access to my home and my son."

"Okay," I said easily enough with a blink of my eyes before stepping forward with a raised eyebrow making him chuckle and move aside. "You said you would help me learn to become a shinobi?"
"I did," answered Sakumo with a nod as he motioned me to follow him after sparing Minato a glance. "First I want to see what all you already know, and don't hide anything because I can tell you know some things, before I make up a perfect regime schedule for you to follow for the next few years."
"Alright," I agreed following a step behind eyes moving to look about as he led me through his house and into the large back yard that boasted a small training area where a chibi Kakashi was already standing. "This is your son I take it."
It almost hurt to see Kakashi-sensei so young.
"Hatake Kakashi," answered Kakashi himself eyes hard and weary as he looked at me with his mask literally and figuratively raised. "Dad said that you stood up for him."
"I did," I answered honestly knowing just how much Kakashi hated lies. "It was beyond wrong that everything that we're taught and that our Founders passed down to us was being spit upon because of Hatake-san making the right choice in saving his comrades lives."
That would be something I would stand by until my dying breath.
"You can call me Sakumo," said Sakumo eyes fond as he rested a hand atop my head before ruffling my hair and moving to stand between Kakashi and I. "Now then we're going to have a spar between Kakashi and you."
Not to my surprise chibi Kakashi was above his age in abilities as I worked to take him down with what I had been able to reteach myself the last two years.

My chakra control still wasn't perfect enough even as I easily kept up with Kakashi using moves I had asked the current Inuzuka Clan Head to allow me to learn.
The Inuzuka Clan Head had been surprised at how strong my connection was to the Clan compared to that of my mother and sister leaving them to wonder and talk about allowing me to try for a canine partner.
This wasn't something I was pushing for considering I was still mourning my previous canine partner from my first life. Because if I had made that choice to die in Sasuke's place, doesn't mean I wasn't mourning those I had left behind.
Not that I could share that with anyone.
"Enough," ordered Sakumo forcing Kakashi and I to a standstill at the one word breathing heavy yet tied with his kunai pointed at my middle while mine rested at his neck. "It's a tie. Who has been teaching you?"
"Inuzuka Tadashi," I answered honestly who was the current Clan Head himself. "He's been teaching me alongside his own daughter."
"Interesting," said Minato once more making his presence known. "You must be part Inuzuka then for Inuzuka-sama to teach you."
"My mother was an Inuzuka before her marriage to my father," I answered knowing it was easily enough to find out. "I have a stronger connection to the Clan and their jutsu and taijutsu."
"Then I'll speak with the Head of Inuzuka about your new training regime," continued Sakumo before motioning for me to begin my after training cool down. "For now, we'll do what most will have you do when getting a Genin team. Introduce yourself, likes, dislikes, and goals for the future. I'll go first."
This didn't really surprise me that he would go about my training this way.
"Hatake Sakumo, my likes are my son, my wolf summons, and my villages. My dislikes are traitors and tomatoes along with anyone who threatens my son. My goals are to help keep my village safe and make sure my son and now you make it far in Konoha."
"Hatake Kakashi," said Kakashi making me remember a different time with some fond amusement. "I like eggplant ramen, my dad, my canine summons, and my village. I dislike traitors and those who turn on their own. My goal is to make it to Elite Jonin."
"Namikaze Minato," continued Minato with a beaming smile. "I like ramen, fuinjutsu, toads, and my village. I dislike traitors and any who attack my loved ones and village. My goal is to become Hokage."
"Nohara Asahi," I finished even as my mind kept going over one thing, Minato didn't even hint at or mention Kushina Uzumaki. "I like fuinjutsu, the Inuzuka Clan, canines, and my village. I dislike traitors, snakes, and large white plants. My goal is to achieve peace for all shinobi villages and make sure my loved ones have a happy life."
My answer was silence.
