Taehyung got Jungkook discharged from the hospital and took him to his apartment. All the Bangtans were there to welcome their maknae. As soon as the bell rang in the apartment everyone jumped out of their seat and ran to the door. Jungkook was holding onto Taehyung's hand like a little kid. The Bangtans took their turn to hug Jungkook and welcome him.

"Guys let him breathe please and let us in." Taehyung told his overexcited friends. His friends finally let go of Jungkook and they all went inside.

"Thank you hyungs for everything you did for me and also sorry for making everyone worry." Jungkook said facing his hyungs.

"Why are you saying sorry Kookie? Whatever happened was not your fault, so don't blame yourself. And we are your friends Kookie so it's our job to take care of you, so don't say thank you." Jin said hugging Jungkook.

"Guys I'll take Kookie to my room. He needs to rest." Taehyung said looking at his friends.

"Yes Tae, take him to your room. His health is more important." Namjoon said. Taehyung took Jungkook's hand before guiding him to his bedroom. He made Jungkook lie on the bed and covered him with blanket. "Do you need anything else Kookie?" Taehyung asked caressing his hair.

"Stay with me hyungie till I fall asleep." Jungkook said in a small voice. Taehyung immediately got under the blanket and pulled Jungkook to his body. Jungkook immediately snuggled into Taehyung's chest, while Taehyung kept caressing his hair with one hand and the other wrapped around Jungkook's waist protectively.

"Hyung did they do something to me?" Jungkook asked in a scared voice. It took a moment for Taehyung to understand what Jungkook meant.

"No bun, they didn't do anything to you. Do you think I will leave them alive if something like that happened?" Taehyung said tightening his grip on Jungkook's waist.

"Then why did they kidnap me hyung? And why did they let me go?" Jungkook asked. Taehyung doesn't know what to answer to that. Those were the same questions that was bugging Taehyung too.

"I don't know bunny. Now no more questions. And leave all your worries to me. You are going to sleep now." Taehyung said not letting Jungkook to say anything else. They stayed like that for a while before Jungkook fell asleep. Taehyung slowly removed himself from Jungkook and placed a pillow in his place. He made sure that Jungkook was in deep sleep before leaving the bedroom.

"How is he? Did he sleep?" Jimin asked as soon as Taehyung came out.

"He is ok just tired." Taehyung said sitting down on the couch.

"Did you find anything else Suga?" Taehyung asked his bestfriend.

"Not really. I went back to the club again from the hospital. I checked the cctv footage for the whole party but didn't find anything suspicious. I don't even know what I was looking for to be honest." Suga said with a sigh.

"Who do you think is behind this and what was even their motive. Who kidnapps someone only to let them go. That doesn't make any sense at all." Jin said being frustrated.

"What are you thinking Joon? You've been very quiet. Please tell us what's on your mind." Hobi said looking at his friend.

"Well it's the same thing that's on each of our mind I guess. Why kidnap him only to let him go. What was the motive behind it?" Namjoon said voicing out his thoughts.

"And what's your theory Joon?" Taehyung asked.

"Kidnappings happens for 2 reasons, 1 ransom and 2 blackmail. The fact that the kidnappers just let him go proves that ransom wasn't the reason for it, so that only leaves the second option, blackmail." Namjoon said explaining his theory. A shiver ran through Taehyung's body as Namjoon said that.

"So you are telling me that they used Jungkook to blackmail someone else." Jimin asked.

"No I don't think so. From the time Jungkook went missing to him being admitted in the hospital, he might have been with the kidnappers for a total of 2 hours, give or take 15 minutes. That's too short a time to blackmail someone." Namjoon said not liking the fact that he can't seem to solve this puzzle.

"What then Joon, if it's not money or blackmail then what is it?" Jin said frustrated.

"Right now we have no other option but to wait and see. We don't know who is behind it and what their motive is. We just have to wait for whoever it is to show their hand first." Suga said.

"I know it's not ideal, but Suga is right, we have to wait and see and I hope it's not something bad. Till then let's keep an eye on kookie at all times and not leave him alone if possible." Namjoon said.

"We can't keep an eye on him 24/7, he will have to go back to his home at some point and how will we keep an eye on him at college? He's our junior, we have no classes together and the only time we see each other is at lunch." Jimin said exasperated.

"I'll do whatever it takes, I already let him down once, I am not doing it again. I won't let anyone hurt him no matter what." Taehyung said vowing to himself. They all talked for some more time before the Bangtans decided to take their leave.

"Alright Tae, we should leave now. Take care of Kookie and call us if there is anything you need." Namjoon said hugging Taehyung. One by one they all left, now it was just Jimin and Tae.

"You should go wake him up and make him eat something. I'll heat up the food Jin prepared." Jimin said to his soulmate. Taehyung just nodded before going to his bedroom. Jungkook was still sleeping soundly. Taehyung sat beside him slowly caressing his head.

"Kookie, wake up bun. You need to eat something." Taehyung said softly. Jungkook just groaned pouting while Taehyung cooed at him.

"Come on bunny wake up. You need to take your medicine." Taehyung said little more sternly. Jungkook just went inside his blanket hiding completely. Taehyung looked at him in disbelief. Taehyung thought for sometime before smirking. He immediately pulled the blanket away causing Kookie to whine at the loss of warmth, but he still didn't budge. Taehyung slowly went closer to Jungkook's ears before whispering "If you don't wake up now, I am going to kiss you." Jungkook immediately bolted up and looked at Taehyung with wide doe eyes while Taehyung just smirked.

"Hyungggg.." Jungkook whined.

"What happened bunny?" Taehyung asked feigning innocence.

"Why did you do that?" Jungkook asked pouting cutely.

"But what did I do bunny?" Taehyung asked again suppressing his laugh.

"You said you'll...you'll..." Jungkook couldn't complete his sentence.

"I'll what bunny?" Taehyung asked coming close to his face. Jungkook blushed and hid his face with his hands. Taehyung removed his hands and leaned closer to his face.

"Tell me bunny, I'll what?" Taehyung whispered. Jungkook could feel his hot breath against his lips, he gulped and looked into Taehyung's eyes. Taehyung looked at his eyes before traveling down to his lips. He kept leaning in. Jungkook closed his eyes and clutched the bedsheets in nervousness. Their lips were just about to touch when Jimin came inside. Taehyung immediately jumped back. He couldn't believe what he was about to do. Jungkook just looked down blushing. Jimin looked between both of them and smirked.

"I thought I'll call you both for dinner but I guess you are hungry for something else." Jimin said controlling his laugh. Taehyung glared at his friend, but Jimin just smirked in return.

"I'll leave now. You can come have dinner when you're ready. Oh Tae, maybe you should lock your door before you know.." Jimin said laughing and leaving the room. Taehyung just groaned in embarrassment while Jungkook became even more red if that was possible.

"Kookie go freshen up, I'll go bring dinner for you." Taehyung said before walking out. Jungkook stared after Taehyung for sometime before going to washroom.

They both ate their dinner in silence. Taehyung didn't know what to speak and Jungkook was just too shy to say anything. Taehyung has been intimate with many people. But he had never felt anything for any of them. It was just physical needs. But with Jungkook it's different. He feels protective over him. He has this need to always keep him safe and happy. He feels a spark like a jolt of current everytime he holds his hands and whenever he sees him pouting he just wants to kiss those pouty lips.

The night Jungkook went missing, for the first time in his life he felt actual fear, the kind that makes you paralyzed. If he closes his eyes he can still feel that fear. He doesn't understand what these feelings are but he knows one thing for sure and that is he needs Jungkook in his life like a body needs oxygen to live. He won't let Jungkook go away from him no matter what. Taehyung cleared the plates after having dinner and gave Jungkook his medicine. Jungkook tried to get out of taking medicine but one look from Taehyung was enough for him to gulp it down without making a fuss. They both were just lying on the bed when Taehyung thought of something.

"Hmm Kookie, can I ask you something?" Taehyung asked.

"Why do you need permission to ask me anything, you already know everything about me." Jungkook answered.

"I was just wondering about your father. I mean it's been two days since you went home and as far as I know you didn't inform him neither you got any call from your father asking where you are. Is he not at home or something?" Taehyung asked being curious.

"Oh" Jungkook said feeling sad all of a sudden. Taehyung heard the sadness in his voice and cursed himself for making him sad.

"I am sorry Kookie if I made you sad. It's ok if you don't want to answer." Taehyung said immediately.

"No no hyung you didn't make me sad and like I said you can ask me anything. It's just I have never spoken about my father. It's not easy for me to talk about." Jungkook said.

"Kookie you don't have to say anything if it makes you uncomfortable. You can take your time. I am not going anywhere." Taehyung said giving him a smile.

"But I want to tell you hyung." Jungkook said leaning against his chest. Taehyung immediately hugged him close and leaned back against the headboard. He kept silent and let Jungkook organize his thoughts.

"My relationship with my father is not a typical father- son relationship, it's more of a formal one. He is a very busy man and since he has business in other countries as well he is barely at home. Sometimes I don't see him for months and I never know where he is. I was basically raised by nannies and after I became little old those nannies were also gone. I always get presents for my birthdays or for holidays from his assistant. I am pretty sure he don't even know when my birthday is and you know what the funny thing is I don't even have his phone number. He never calls me and I am only allowed to call him if there is any emergency and even then I can't call him directly instead I'll have to contact his assistant and the assistant will tell my father. Even on the very rare occasions that he is home our conversations are basically scripted and it doesn't even take a minute. So to answer your question hyung, my father will not even notice if I went missing for a month or two. The only people who would notice will be the Noonas and hyungs who work in my house and my driver uncle." Jungkook said sighing sadly.

Taehyung didn't know what to speak. Jungkook always makes him speechless. Taehyung suddenly felt a new hatred for someone whom he never met. How could a father treat his son like that. Taehyung's parents were with him only for 10 years, but they loved him a lot, they loved him enough to last an entire lifetime. Taehyung was angry for Jungkook.

"I am sorry bun, you don't deserve that. I feel sorry for your father because it's his loss not yours and I am sure one day he'll realize that." Taehyung said tightening his hold on him.

"Thank you hyung, but it's ok. I am used to it and it's not that he don't love me or care about me, it's just he doesn't know how to show love or any kind of emotions to be honest." Jungkook said yawning.

"Are you sleepy bun?" Taehyung asked. Jungkook just nodded. Taehyung immediately arranged the pillows and made Jungkook lie down before lying down himself. Jungkook immediately snuggled into Taehyung and Taehyung covered them both with blanket before hugging him tight. Taehyung kissed his forehead and said goodnight. Not long after they both slept in each other's arms.
