I stared at the page for a while deciphering it slowly, eyebrows rising as I finally got past the important wards. I sighed and tossed the newspaper back onto the desk rubbing my eyes with the palm of my hands. Of course, the Ministry would blame Black. Sighing I threw on a jacket and headed out into the snow, I needed to appease my mind somehow, and the forest was the best way.
I wandered through the forest for a bit, but something felt off. Tensing I drew riptide from my pocket. What was with people disturbing my forest?
"Oh, hey Blue," I greeted coming upon the Thestral.
'Hey boss, coming to check out the giant?' he asked circling around me, I froze,
"Giant?" I asked and Blue nodded,
'Yeah, Hagrid brought him with us, he's tied up now but the creatures don't venture very far, we don't tend to like his pets' I nodded,
"Would you mind taking me to him?" I asked and Blue nodded eagerly,
'Sure, sure," he said eagerly, 'This way boss,'
"You've been spending way too much time with Blackjack," I commented laughing as we went deeper into the wood.

I slammed the paper angrily on Dolores desk, "Teachers are hereby banned from giving students any information that is not strictly related to the subjects they are paid to teach?" I asked, causing her to pale,
"I- well I-,"
"Take it down, get rid of the rule or else I'll be enforcing it on you," I said and she hesitated for a minute before nodding and running to take down the papers, I sighed and looked over her papers, I had talked to Annabeth about her and, she thinks that it's best to stay on her good side for now, but... my sword lessons... I pouted a bit thinking about what could've happened to them.

"I'm truly sorry Percy, I didn't think before posting them," She said bustling towards her desk, and pulling out parchment and a quill, "I'll get this amended immediately, please don't pay any mind to it,"
"Alright, I have a class right now though, so I'll be off," I nodded before turning and running to my classroom, I might be a little late,
"Professor," Fred sang,
"You're late again," Goerge finished, man-eating-horse-poop eating grins, I shuddered at the thought of those horses.
"I know, I know," I muttered marking it down on the chalkboard I had converted into a scoreboard.
The kids made a deal with me due to some of my habits, every time I was late, or they beat me in a fight with one of my hands behind my back (which had yet to happen but some of them were naturals so it was bound to happen eventually) they got another sword lesson, and due to all this adding and subtracting, well let's just say the score board was the easiest solution, "So what do you want to do this period?" I asked and the class smiled at each other.
I groaned as I lay on my back, they wanted to do exercise. exercise! Who in their right minds would do that? I mean being active is one thing but straight-up excursing... gross. I felt a light kick to my ribs, and gently glared up at the red-haired culprit,
"Are you dead?" Ron asked and I snorted and covered my eyes with my arm,
"If I say yes, can we cancel class?" I asked causing people to chuckle and Hermione to huff,
"Of course not!" she said indignantly, "Besides I want to try my hand in beating you, I think I might have a strategy,"

I groaned and launched myself up, "Fine," I wined trudging towards my desk and handing Hermione a stack of papers,
"Umbridge wanted me to give these to you, and before you ask no- I don't know what they are and yes- please read it out to me," I instructed,
"They're just review packets for the OWLS Professor," Hermione said passing them out, and I perked up,
"Oh! Great! Anything in there that we haven't covered yet?" I asked giving them a second to look over them,
"Er-," Hermione said review through the packet,
"Quite a lot," she said and I frowned, before nodding and clapping my hands together,
"Alright class, I have your first homework assignment," I said, groans coming up around the room, "look through these packets and create three lists, 1 things we have gone over, 2 things we have gone over but you're unsure of and 3 things we need to go over," The class looked around approvingly before I grinned evilly, "And then find a charm to change it to Ancient Greek," groans went around the class at that and I smiled shrugging my shoulders,
"You just want us to do the work for you!" Hermione exclaimed and my grin widened,
"Precisely, now if it's not in Ancient Greek then I will not be accepting it," I said, "And no I don't care if you all use the same one as long as it's translated, I will not be checking your wands to make sure that you did it, just find a charm and a willing witch or wizard, pay them off and get it translated,"
"Professor!" Hermione said scandalized, I looked over at her
"What? It's not like I don't know how these things work, it's pretty standard stuff, you might as well get some money out of it," The class was gapping at me and I rolled my eyes, "You really would think that you would be used to this by now," I muttered settling down into my chair, "Study period today, do your homework or practice spells, just don't hurt anyone or yourself."

GLADIUS // Eret X Reader
PHANTASM SERIES BOOK 4---Gladius, (noun): (in ancient Rome) a short sword.---Eret perked up as soon as you and Simon walked into the room, a wide and welcoming smile coming onto his face. He was softer looking than his father had been, but you could still see some of the similar traits. He had a head of thick dark curls, and the same sharp jaw that his father had had. He wasn't as bulky though - he was tall and thin - and his face was a lot more open. What separated him most from his father's likeness though was the colorful cape, and the large mirrored glasses he wore - swirling with colors reflected from the room. He stood from his seat when Maven let the doors swing shut behind her, that wide smile still on his face. "You must be the embassy.""And you must be King Eret." You said, stooping into a bow. "Oh, there's no need for that." Eret said as you rose from your bow. He stepped down from the dias where his throne sat - colorful cape trailing behind him - and came to stand in front of you, taking your hand instead. "I'm not really one for formalities." He grinned, shaking your hand. His palm was warm against yours, and you could feel some slight callouses - most likely from practicing his sword work.
