《A Melissa x Midoriya Fic》8: Beach day

I wake up next to Melissa, and yet again, she's holding onto my arm with her head on my shoulder. This has been getting common and I decided to just turn on the tv and wait for her to wake up. It was only about 5 minutes later when she woke up and just hugged my arm tighter trying to go back to sleep. I poke her head and she grumbles and sits up still holding onto my arm. I laugh a bit and go do my morning routine. When I finish brushing my teeth, I notice a small hole in the wall. I realize Mineta was on the other side of this wall and honestly I dunno what to think. I put a hamper right there so he won't be able to look in. I would've patched the hole but he would've made another hole in the wall.
When I get out, I see Melissa already for the day and runs into the bathroom after I walk out. "Guess she had to go," I say slipping on my shoes. She walks out with a relieved face, as if she was holding it in for a year. We walk down stairs and everyone was down stairs for once. "Guys! The temperature is perfect for a beach day!" Mina yells from across the room. Everyone agrees that a beach day would be nice and the rest of the week won't be this warm and the weekend would be raining. "So, can anyone not join this Mon-Beach day?" a floating pair of clothes, Hagakure, askes. Everyone shakes their head and Mineta just looks at the ceiling drooling. Melissa and I look at each other and she smiles, so I take that as a 'yes'. "Okay! Everyone meet up in 30 minutes with their beach stuff!" Mina yells running up the stairs.

We get to my dorm and Melissa searches through her stuff and grabs her 2-piece. She goes into the bathroom while I quickly switch my pants for my swim trunks. She comes out in the same clothes with her under garments in her hands, so I guess her suit is under her clothes. We hear Mineta yell in frusteration, probably because he won't be able to peek at Melissa. "Why's the Mineta yelling?" Melissa askes pointing her thumb towards where the screaming came from. "He made a hole in the wall, probably to peek at you, so I blocked it with a hamper," I say grabbing some towels. She gasps and seems clearly angry. I laugh at her angered face and tell her, "Don't worry, if he saw anything I'll pound his face for you." "Aww, tryna win me over Deku?" she says with a teasing tone. "No, just looking out for a friend," I say opening the door for her. She gives me a sarcastic 'mmhmm' as she purposely sways her hips for a few paces. "Knock that out! I may find you attractive but I would never try to impress you," I say catching up to her. "Haha- Wait, what?" she says looking back at me. Me not realizing what I just said keeps walking with a confused face.
"Did you say you find me attractive Deku?" she questions bending forward trying to look at my face. I soon realize what I said just smile. "Maybe," I tease her as revenge. She pouts and yells, "This is no time for revenge teasing! Now, do you find me attractive or not?!" "Maybe," I say with a smirk on my face and she keeps pouting before we make it down stairs. Everyone leaves for the beach and I notice Uraraka talking with Tsuyu. I wanna go up and talk to her but the whole atmosphere feels really awkward. "You wanna see how Uraraka's doing right Midoriya?" Kirishima says catching up to me. "Yeah, but it still feels awkward after what happened a few days ago," I tell him with a saddened look. "Don't worry bro! You'll find the right time. Just look at me and Bakugo, you know how long it took for us to get together?" he says putting his arm around his boyfriend. Bakugo makes a few explosions in his hand and glares at Kirishima.

We finish the walk to the beach and everyone throws off their cover clothes and run to the water. "Guess everyone already had sunscreen on," I say with spraying sunscreen on myself. Melissa comes over and askes, "Hey Deku, can you hand me that sunscreen?" "Yeah," I say tossing it to her. I head into the water while she puts it on and catches up with me.
For a while, everything's going great. Everyone's relaxing in the water, splash and chicken fights happen with me and Deku coming in second because we lost to Todoroki and Yaoyorozu. Shinso never went into the water which I found weird but no one else did. Mineta kept trying to cop a feel but someone was there to stop the guy. Eventually we all got hungry and decided to grab lunch then head back to the dorms. On the way, I heard some weird giggling and turned over to see Deku with his hand out like he punched someone and Mineta a few yards away in small hole. "I take it you know what was going to happen," Deku says shaking his fist a bit. I just stand there in slight awe. We all walk to the cafe, leaving Mineta behind in that hole. So I say, a successful day, except I don't know if Deku actually called me attractive or not. But knowing him, he probably does, and I got some tricks to get it out of him. Though I probably won't use them looking back on all of my plans.

Big fantasy worlds. Multiple cultures, lots of characters, many different types of magic--this story is expansive rather than closely focused on a narrow storyline. Progression fantasy that takes its time. Our main character will be progressing through magical ranks, but this is going to be a lengthy story.
