《A Melissa x Midoriya Fic》13: A Nice Day

I wake up with Deku at my side. I was cuddled up to him with his arm around me. I get shocked because I'm usually the last one up, so I check the clock. It was midnight and I didn't know why I woke up so early. I look around and see everything in it's place and everything is quiet. I shrug it off and cuddle back up to Deku and try to sleep. I lay awake with my eyes closed for about 30 minutes and decide I should do something to help me sleep. I check my phone and it says it's 6 in the morning. I get up, put my glasses on and look outside. The moon was high in the deep black sky so I knew it was about 12:30. I check the timezones on my phone and I honestly couldn't tell what time it was because I couldn't find where I-Island was and I was to tired to calculate it.
I hear shuffling in the bed and look over to see Deku sitting up, "Why are you up so late babe?" I look at him in slight shock at him calling me 'babe' but I honestly couldn't answer him because I didn't know why I was awake. "Dunno, I just am." "Can't sleep then? Come on, we can watch some tv until you fall asleep," he says sluggishly while getting up and grabbing the remote. He puts on the Seven Deadly Sins for me while I cuddle up to him and he almost immediately falls back asleep on my head. I smile and watch tv with my head on his chest. I stayed awake for about an hour, just thinking about a future together. I eventually fell asleep with an image of us with a kid and a baby in my arms.
He wakes me up a few hours later and I just keep him in my arms trying to go back to sleep. He just accepts it and texts someone, probably Uncle Might, and leans his head on mine. I wake up, again, and hear Deku talking to someone. "Who are you talking to?" I say grabbing my glasses that were in front of my legs. I see Iida at the door way waving his hand at me slightly. "Seriously Midoriya, if you're going to achieve your goal of top hero, you can't have a woman persuade you like this!" He scolds waving his hand like a robot. "It was one time Iida. This is the one and only time it'll happen." "Okay then. Come down for lunch, we don't want you starving to death," Iida saying closing the door behind him.

"Sorry for causing you all this trouble honey," I tell Deku getting up. He gives me a small yet warm smile and jumps out of bed already fully clothed. "It's fine, just don't let it happen again." "Like last night?" "We can do that when we're older. But for now, yes," Deku says walking out of the room to let me change. I walk out of his dorm after a few minutes and see him beside the door on his phone. "Finally," Deku teases while putting his phone in his pocket. "Melissa, what was with that pet name you called me earlier?" "You called me 'babe' at midnight when I couldn't sleep so I just assumed," I said looking at him and grabbing his hand. We walk down the stairs and catch the attention of the school's 2 gossip girls. Mina and Hagakure run up to us and yell pointing at are conjoined hands, "Are you two dating?!" We now had the whole class turn their heads to us and we just pull up our hands and nod.
Kaminari and Mineta were giving us death stares, half of the class were congratulating us and giving looks of 'good going', the other half went back to what they were doing, and Uraraka gave a look of sorrow then went on her phone. Deku didn't notice Uraraka and I was going to mention it, but all of the girls, except Uraraka, were crowding around us and asking questions. "How long have you been together?" "Have you made out yet?" "How big is he?" I laugh at Hagakure's question but also give a face of 'wait, what.' "Ever since last night, only once, and we haven't done anything like that," I say half lying on the second question and completely lying on the third question. The girls disperse and go back to what they were doing after a slight conversation.
I don't see Uraraka anywhere, but I hear a car leave the parking lot, so I guess it was her. Deku and I make some lunch and talk. I was about to mention Uraraka when Bakugo comes up to us with Kirishima in his arm. "Deku, congrats on hookin' up with big tits over here," he says with a monotone voice. Kirishima gives him a slight slap, "I told you to congratulate them, not congratulate them and give Melissa a lewd nickname," he scolds. Bakugo scoffs and leaves, all I can do is blush and see a bolt of lightning shoot past me and hit Bakugo. Deku has his hand out with a spoon full of curry in his mouth. "You wanna go Deku?!" "No, just don't call her by that name." he says with a smirk on confidence. Kirishima says sarcastically to Bakugo, "Told you he'd attack you if you gave her a nickname like that." "Shut up!" We share a laugh and finish eating. I tell Deku what happened with Uraraka and he told me about her therapist and that she was probably going there and not to worry.

After seeing Deku holding hands with Melissa and saying they were together, I called Dr. Devamayi and she says she had an opening but we had to make it within 30 minutes. I drive over quickly and I see her at the door. She waves and opens the door for me. We walk into her room and she was ready for me. "So, why did you need to talk? There's still a week until your next appointment," she says with curiosity. "You said we need to make this quick and I don't want to cry a lot and stall this appointment and-" "Say no more," she says quieting me down and I appear in the same little world she made last time. The ground was checkboard-like and the buildings were towers and there was a large bird flying around. We were in a small room at the top of a tower and she had an 8-legged cat in her lap. "Okie-dokie. So, Midoriya and the blonde beauty are together? Pretty rough. I know it won't do anything, but sorry," she says petting the cat. The cat jumps into my lap and I start petting it and it calms me down. "Yeah, I know I have no control over it and he won't trade her for me after our break up and that dream. But I can't help but feel terrible," I say crying. The cat nuzzles up to me trying to calm me down. "Try to take your mind off of it. Spend time with friends, focus on school since you do want to be a hero, maybe even work on your friendship with Melissa, since this whole thing is straining your once friendship. If that doesn't keep your mind off of it within the next week, we can try some other methods."
The world around us disappears and I am back in her office petting a pencil sharpener. I just laugh at this and put it on her desk. "Thank you Dr. Devamayi. I'll try all of those methods." I say shaking her hand. "Like I said, if those don't work, we can try something else. If you're looking for a shoulder to cry on, I'll be hear to listen. That sounded weirder than I wanted it to, but you know what I mean. But I do have a son that will be an almost perfect match," she says winking slightly. "I'll think about it. See ya doctor." I hop in my car and drive to the dormitory with my mind else where. When I walk into the Heights Alliance, Tsuyu walks up to me with a worried expression. "Where were you ribbit?" she asks with her finger to her chin. "Therapy. Don't worry though. How about the girls and us hang out for the day." Tsu beams and walks over and calls the girls over.
