《A Melissa x Midoriya Fic》20: News Alert

I wake up on the couch with Melissa on me. I check my phone and All Might cancelled training because he had something important. I sigh and look down at my sleeping girlfriend and kiss her on the forehead before falling back to sleep.
I wake up and notice almost everyone is up and Mina is just taking pictures like the ship freak she is. I just sigh and try to shake Melissa awake. She groans and sits up a bit before laying back on me. "Okay, can't sleep all day. Wake up," I say nudging her. She tightens her grip on me and I started coughing because I was loosing air. "And she says she doesn't have a quirk," I manage to squeak out. Mineta walks over and says smugly, "Yeah, her quirk is having the tits of an angel." "Hey, could you come over here Mineta?" "No! I know what you'll do!" he yells running. "Hey Mineta," Shinso says. Mineta replies then stands in place. "Go over to Midoriya," Shinso says giving me a thumbs up. I grab his head and he wakes up, then I shock him as he screams for the heavens before falling down. Melissa wakes up after all of the screaming and we get up for breakfast.
After breakfast and getting dressed, we decide to go for a casual walk. It was a nice morning, though it was going to rain later in the afternoon. We head into a small shop and we looked around for nothing in particular. "Izu. Look at this thing," Melissa says walking up to me with a cat statue make of amethyst. "It's beautiful. You want it?" I ask while looking at the amazing detailing. "Nah. It may be cute but it's not for me," she says putting it down. I shrug and continue looking around. I grab the cat statue when she leaves the area and give myself a smile.

After a few more minutes, I tell Melissa to wait outside while I pay for some of the stuff we got. I got a dreamcatcher in case I get some weird dreams, and she got a tote bag with a panda on it. I also bought the cat statue to surprise her, thinking it would be a nice thing to do. I walk outside and see Melissa looking at the clouds. "Oh, Izu. Look at that cloud, it looks like a bunny right?" she askes while pointing to the sky. I look at the cloud and nod. "Hey, I got the stuff, and a surprise for ya," I say reaching into the bag. "It wasn't that cat statue right. I told you I don't want it," she says as I pull it out and she grabs it and hugs me. "Faking it?" I ask. "Faking it."
We start to walk to the dorms when it starts to rain. Luckily I brought my umbrella so we weren't soaking wet. We walk in and see everyone doing their normal stuff. We head to my dorm to relax the rest of the day. I put down my bag and lay on my bed while she turns on the tv. I text All Might to ask why he cancelled today's training. He said he had some hero matters to work with. I found that weird since he retired. I ask him about this so called hero matters and he didn't reply. I got a bit worried but knowing All Might, he'd tell me, or have someone tell me, if he was in danger. I go back to what I was doing and just chill.
After a while, I get a text saying that he was sorry for not responding and that he was fine if I worried. I send him a thumbs up emoji and turn off my phone. There wasn't much going on that day except for a few villains in the area that were dealt with pretty quickly. Then there was some breaking news about several Nomu running amuck down town. I jolt up and check the window. I see smoke coming from a few blocks away. I book it downstairs grabbing my suit on the way. "Y'all see the news?" I ask putting on my sleeves. Everyone said yes and Bakugo, Todoroki, Kota, Mina and Kaminari grabbed their suits. We ran outside and I texted Melissa, 'Hero mission. Don't worry. Will bring back food. *heart emoji*.' She didn't reply or anything but I knew she was worried about my and the others.

Descent into Mayhem
After two hundred years of isolation, the colonists of Capicua, a fertile super-earth orbiting Gliese 667C, are suddenly faced with an unknown and hostile military force. Oblivious to the impending invasion, Toni Miura joins Capicua's decrepit armed forces in a bid to escape domestic troubles, aiming for the privilege of driving the Hammerhead, a bipedal mobile suit which is the epitome of his planet's ailing warrior spirit. With the arrival of the earthborn invaders, Toni's unqualified platoon, brimming with misfits and plagued by internal differences, is suddenly thrown into the midst of battle. Abandoned by their seniors in the course of their mission, Toni and the remnants of his unit become lost in a world which, owing to the nature of its orbit, suffers periodically from planet-wide hurricane conditions.
