《A Little Intelligence Never Hurt anybody》Chapter 3

It's been 2 months since the testing of Hatsume's 'baby' and Izuku wishes to never speak of it again.
Speaking of things Izuku never wants to be brought up again, Izuna's going to U.A entrance exam for the hero course... great, just..... excellent.
So now Izuku has to see her off.... perfect, just peachy...
Ignoring the stares, Izuku got out the limousine and opened the door for the spoiled princess. "Thank you, Satoshi-Kun~." Said Izuna, thinking she was charming, Izuku bit his tongue. "It is not a problem, young miss."
And with that she left, and so did the limousine. Sighing, Izuku looked up at the people still in awe. "I believe you all have an entrance exam to participate in?" Stated Izuku in a questioning tone, that snapped them out of their senses and they rushed into the school.
"Idiots..."

Izuku sat in silence while the other participants stared at his uniform. "Attention all." Called out a man with a large yellow helmet that Izuku thought kinda look like a T-rex head. "My name is Power Loader and I'll be your examiner."
"We have multiple different scraps here for you to build anything you want, points will be added via how impressive the invention, how long it took you to make it, and how helpful said invention is for any one hero of your choosing. Start now."
Many students rushed towards the scraps, hoping to find anything useful to them. 'Idiots.' Thought Izuku, standing in the back. 'Did they not hear the last part of Power Loader's speech? They're just grabbing what they can get.'
'Just think of a hero with an easy quirk to boost.' He thought it over a bit more, watching Hatsume make something akin to a jet pack while giggling to herself. 'A simple quirk...' He looked down at his hand, the index and middle finger sparked. 'That's it!'

"Time's up!" Shouted Power Loader over the noise of the examines, many stopped and looked up from their inventions, others panicked either internally or externally, maybe even both.

Izuku looked at his invention in silent joy, he heard Hatsume's cackle from across the room and felt a tingling in his spine. "Never again.." He said quietly.
"Examine 546." He looked over to Power Loader and a man in a black suit with a clipboard. "What is your invention?" Izuku stepped aside and showed them a black cube with elaborate markings. "What is it..?" Asked Power Loader in uncertainty. "Gauntlets." Izuku said simply. "What??"
"They're gauntlets. Here, let me show you." He picked up the cube with one hand and with the other he pulled it across his palm, the examiners watched in fascination as the cube broke down and moved where his off hand directed it. Seeing the cube cover the entirety of his inner hand, he flipped his hand over and pulled it onto his knuckles.
Once he was done the cube-now-gauntlet went up to his bicep, deciding to show off a bit he made and an open hand with his left and a fist with his right before punching his open hand, the examiners watched as the gauntlet moved in a wave-like motion and transferred to his left hand, leaving him with two gauntlets that went up to his forearms.
"Amazing... what can it do?" Ask Power Loader, many examines watched in interest. "It builds up electricity and releases it with a punch, I made them with the pro hero Death Arms in mind, I heard about an incident with a villain made of sludge that gave Death Arms a real hard time. With this, he'll be able to touch him with no problem, it'll pack one hell of a punch too." He finished, with a lame joke at the end for good measure.
"That's incredible! To be able to make such a thing and make it so portable is unheard of! Congratulations on your invention." Power Loader praised while the man behind him nodded and wrote on his clipboard furiously. "Thank you for the kind words, Power Loader." Said Izuku, bowing in gratitude.

"Hotshoooooot!" Called out a voice, giving Izuku slight panic before stumbling forward when the bearer of said voice rocketed towards him and latched onto his back like a koala. "Ah... hello, Hatsume.."
"Hotshot, you never told me you could turn babies into boxes! Oh, hey you're really muscley.."
"Why do you have to say it like that!? Oi, hey! Keep your hands up here at least!" Said Izuku, grabbing her wrist before her wandering hands could get anywhere lower than his flat stomach.
"I assume you know each other?" Asked Power Loader, both nodding in response.
"Acquaintance."
"Test dummy!"
"Oi! Don't call me that!" Izuku shouted in protest, walking out with Hatsume still attracted to his back and the support item still in his possession. "Why not?"
"Because I'm not!"
"But you-"
"I know I did!"
The two continued bickering while Power Loader and the other examines watched them leave.
"But when will-"
"It was a one time thing!"
I was walking out with my old friend Bakugo Katsuki, a grude girl of average height and short ash blonde hair. I haven't seen her in years but we've chatted through calls and text. "So scandalous!" I heard as that blue haired guy from the entrance exam speed walked pass two people at the school gate.
"Come on, pleeasssee?"
"For the last time, no!"
I looked over to see Satoshi-Kun with a pink haired girl with goggles, she was hanging onto him with her arms around his neck. Suddenly, she used something in her boots causing her blast her around Satoshi-Kun, still holding onto his neck.
"Oi, don't do that! You could have gotten yourself hurt, idiot!" Said Satoshi-Kun, holding the girl bridal style after her rocket boots died down. The girl giggled. "You're such a tsundere, hotshot."
"Wha- no I'm not!" Shouted Satoshi-Kun, blushing hard. "Yes, you arrrreee~." Said the girl, poking his flush cheek.
"The hell..."was all I heard from Katsuki as the two continued to bicker? Flirt? Whatever, I decided to walk up to them and make my presence known.
The two looked at us. "Ah." Was all Satoshi-Kun said, dropping his expression to the blank one I'm used to seeing. "Young miss, how can I help you?"
"Who is this woman, Satoshi-Kun?"
"This is Hatsume Mei, an acquaintance." Was all he said as that Hatsume girl kept poking at his face.
"And that?"
"Gauntlets with the ability to store and release electricity." Satoshi-Kun stated simply, putting the pink haired girl back to her feet, though he didn't stop said girl from taking his hand and examining it.
"Where the hell did you even get it?" Asked Katsuki from behind us, Satoshi-Kun's eyes narrowed in recognition before answering.
"I made them myself, it's a prototype for curiosity's sake. Hatsume don't do that, you'll hurt yourself." He explained quickly before telling the pink mechanic off, said girl just pouted and took away her screwdriver from his hand.
"Now then, shall we go?" Satoshi-Kun asked, the limousine driving in behind him. He opened the door for me. "Will miss Bakugo be accompanying?"
"A-ah, yeah, she'll be coming with us, right Kat?" He nodded at the response and gestured for us to enter the car, as we got in he looked to that Hatsume girl who waved and said. "See ya' later hotshot!"
"Likewise, Hatsume."
"Why'd you lie to them?" Asked Bakugo looking at the black haired boy in butler attire.
"You know as well as I do why I chose to keep my identity from them, Kacchan."
She stared at him a bit longer before looking away and nodding begrudgingly. "Yeah, I get it."
"Look to the bright side of things, I'll be able to make all the support items you want, Queen Explosion Murder." He teased before walking to his door. "Keep a watch on the princess tonight, will you? I'll make something nice for breakfast as thanks."
"Sure, whatever...."

Fallout: Vault X
An original novel set in the Fallout universe, written to be accessible to all, featuring unique people and places. Vol.II. out now Fallout: Vault X tells the story of John. A vault dweller, who spent every day of his twenty five years underground. Like his father, and his father before him. Proud to live in the last remaining bastion of humanity, all that survived The Great War of the atomic age. Hidden deep below the surface of the earth, toiling under brutal conditions. Year after year, decade upon decade. All to expand into the natural cave system the Vault occupied, building for the future. However, John knew what his forefathers did not, that everything he’d been taught was a lie. After finishing school at the age of ten, John received his standard issue pipboy. An arm mounted personal computer, worn by everyone in the Vault. Used to coordinate the relentless pace of expansion, needed to work as an apprentice. To learn the craft that would be his life’s work. A noble calling to ensure a future for all that remained of the human race. A quirk of fate saw John equipped not with the crude, clunky, pipboy model his father wore. That almost everyone around him wore. His looked smaller, sleeker, finished in a jet black sheen. And capable of doing far more than its drab counterparts. The world above had been ravaged by atomic flames, yet life clung to its bones. The Red Valley fared better than most in the century since the bombs fell. The clean water and rich soil protected by rolling hills. All spared from direct strikes, for the most part. Life survived here. Trees spawned from charred ground, misshapen, green leaves turned red. Along with simple crops, grown wild at first, then cultivated by the survivors. The scavengers of the old world were inventive, hardy people. All determined to rebuild in the ruins of a world they never knew. In the decades that passed settlements emerged. They grew, spreading along the valley floor. Reclaiming the pre-war remnants of the once industrialised heartland. Salvaging the robotic wonders of a bygone age to build their walls and work their fields. To protect them in the dark of the wasteland. But such things are uncommon in this world, and the rarer something is, the greater its value. And the worth of pre-war technology had not gone unnoticed. The last, real, power in this world rested in the mechanised hands of The Brotherhood of Steel. Forged from the mortally wounded old world military. The Brotherhood used its access to the weapons made for a conflict no one won to strike out into the wastes. Men and women were equipped with advanced armour, aerial transportation, high grade weaponry. Accompanied by the training, strength, and will, to put them to use. They established chapters and set up outputs far and wide. All dedicated to a single purpose. To ensure the technology left abandoned by its long dead creators didn’t fall into the wrong hands. Namely, any hands that were not their own. This is the world John escaped into. A place of horrors brought forth from atomic fire. A place where survival meant battling against the darkness. Fighting a war each day to get to the next. And war...war never changes

Yet Another RimWorld (Dropped)
*Fanfiction based on the game RimWorld*A more realistic take of RimWorld, where we follow the pawns that must struggle to survive in yet another Rimworld. Their stories, guided by a particularly playful narrator, will tell the tales of survival, defeat, gains, losses, triumph, and ultimately ruin. Trials faced by people, in places of various circumstances, will be observed and presented to its audience. What will be presented here are insignificant snippets of history, merely few of the innumerable tales and prospects to be found across this wide galaxy; The things we discover from these pawns, so many yet so few. Ultimately, they are just more drama meant for enjoyment, albeit in a twisted way. A/N:This is a fanfiction, based on the game "RimWorld". Using my personal gameplays as a basis for this fanfiction, in addition to some embellishments here and there. Unlike the silly antics that caused grave consequences if you had ever played RimWorld, my rendition will (hopefully) stay more grounded to reality, whereby no one will go beserk and dig up corpses if they can't eat on a table for 3 days in a row. That's all I need to say, you get the point. I'm writing this for fun. So please expect me to be inconsistent. Lastly, I am incredibly grateful to Tynan Sylvester for the game he created, "RimWorld", which is loved by many across the world and it will always remain a special place in my heart. For without his game, my work would not exist.

RELINQUISH
Sometimes I wonder why the world isn't decorated with something as cool as magic... Why can't we manipulate the laws of the world? Why does the story about God sound too fake to be believed? Why the hope for this world to be saved from the bottom of everyone's heart can never be fulfilled... Then I landed on each conclusion from each of those questions... That humans are the most cunning, meanest and stupidest creatures who are most desperately expected to not have any power including magic itself. That it is not God that we should believe in, because they themselves do not believe in how disgusting human nature really is. That everyone's hope is not for the world to be saved, but for the world to be destroyed in order to save their own selves. That the world from the beginning, was not meant to be saved... (I frequently revise and update the use of sentences in the previous chapters without disturbing the original storyline. so sometimes it takes me a little longer to publish a new chapter.) I have the same novel posted on another website (Webnovel.com , creativenovels.com) with the same name (RELINQUISH)
