I switched between my notepad, and my screen. Focusing on multiple things at a time. I hadn't been able to see (Y/n) recently due to the fact that I still went to school. My grandma always told me that if I didnt go, something really really bad would happen, ans I never dared to find out what it was. I was planning on going home today, I told my grandma that I was staying over Richie's for a little bit while working on a project. I technically wasn't wrong... I was working on a project. I was out for a week when we first took (Y/n), and the teacher said that they would give me the credits if I did this project. My fingers were going from typing to writing in less than seconds. "YES!" I yelled in victory as I finally finished one of tasks. "I better get all this sad, then I can go." I saved all of my progress and shut down my computer. I packed all of my things in my backpack and walked out of the room. On my way towards the front door, I noticed Trevor coming from the basement. "Hey, Trevor! I'm gonna be gone for a couple days. I'll still be next door, but tell the others to refrain from getting me. I'm gonna be with my grandma." I smiled.
" I'll tell then that. Did you finish your work?" Trevor asked in his monotone voice.
"Most of it. I just have to look some things up, but I can do that later. See ya!" I waved goodbye and walked out of the house. Looking around the neighborhood gave me a weird, homey sensation in my stomach. I walked home and rand the doorbell. Not long after the door creaked open.

"Freddy! You've been home for so long I almost forgot what it was like for you to be here!" She laughed as she allowed me into the house.
"Sorry... I've been really busy with the project, and other things." I hung up my jacket and took off my shoes as she walked by.
"Well its nice to have you back, dinner is in the kitchen." I thanked her and made my way towards my food. I hadn't had a nice meal since the last time I was here. I had been living off of Cola, chips, and fast food for the past week. Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner, all Junk.
I sat and enjoyed my home cooked soup and scrolled between some of the tabs on my phone. My grandma walked in and took my empty plate. I was so focused on finishing the level that I had forgotten my surroundings. "Freddy dear, don't forget to actually go to your room tonight." She pat my on the head and left the room. After a few moments I nodded my head a response, a late reaction if you will. My eyes drooped, and felt as if the bags under then were weighing them down. Sleeping wasn't a thing for me either.
I finished up and walked to my room in the basement. I felt a chill as the realization of (Y/n) and Juliet being in a basement as well... Except they were in a cell, and I was in a bed. Thats when it hit me, "I should buy beds for the girls!" I declared as I opened up a tab for amazon. I ordered the best of the best, just for them. I finally gave up fighting against sleep, and drifted off to dreamland.
My eyes slowly faded open, causing me to shiver when I saw the ceiling of the basement. My arms seemed to be held in place by restraints. I quickly realized that I was strapped to the table in the left part of the room. I attempted to scream, only finding out that my mouth was taped shut. 'Is this a dream?!? My last one was just as vivid.... Maybe its just my mind being an ass to me.' I tried to close my eyes and wake up, failing miserably. 'Why won't I wake up?!?!???' The panic set in when the stairs began to creak.

"Finally. I thought you were never going to wake up." The girl moved her head to the side in order to look Jason in the eye. "You don't remember falling asleep, do you?" The boy teased as he slowly inched closer and closer. Shaking her head no, he chuckled. "Thats because I used, the best in my opinion, Chloroform." he smirked as tears began to form in the girls eyes. "I can only imagine all the things going on inside your mind. 'Is he going to kill me?' 'What's he gonna do?' 'What did he do to me when I was sleep?!' Waah waah wahh." He laughed out as she let the tears fall. "Don't worry. I'm not going to do anything. I'd be an idiot if I kill you. All the other, including me, would be heart broke. I want to win the race, but killing the prize is no fun." Jason untied the girl and held her wrist as he yanked her off the table. "While your still open to the others, and this is my turn.... We can go and play somewhere else."
My body tossed and turned as my dream progressed. "(Y/n) don't leave me... Please." I mumbled quietly. "I'll never let... you go." My eyes quickly opened as I heard a door slam shut. I laid as still as possible and listened as the footsteps walked around the upper floor. Slowly, but quietly, I got up and grabbed the closest object, my phone. I crept up the stairs and opened the door slowly. The person seemed to be in the kitchen, the like was on, and the most noise was coning from there. I knew it wasn't my grandma, she doesn't wake up after falling asleep, ever. I dialed in 911 and shut off my phone, this way if it was needed I could just press call. Out of the corner of my eye I saw an umbrella and took it for defense. 'Whoever this is needs to get out now or else I'll show em what its like to rob my grandma.' I took a deep breathe and quickly turned the corner into the kitchen. "GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!" I screamed as I swung the umbrella without looking. I heard it make contact with the intruder and a large thud. I slowly opened my eyed and was truly shocked. "DAD?!?"

Not Another Isekai RPG Story Alternate
The story ends at Alternate Route Finale. Ch 2-2 and on can be treated as Extra Chapters. I still hadn't edited that one and it's low on priority. I may come back to it if I'm in the mood. Most of the portions of the story will NOT focus on the skills, stats, grinding or battles. More about the dialogues (or the internal monologues) and the MC interacting with the world (or glitching, if you name it.). ... With parts of his memory lost, Takeshi, a 25-year old lazy office worker was transported to a game world. Using his casual knowledge on video-game mechanics, join Takeshi's journey as he discover more about the world, his companions and himself. (only if you're interested though.) My personal review: from ch-2 on expect a lot of perversion going on. It can be pretty weird, like the MC want to be a girl and Y*ri other girls, Fut*nari folks, Traps, the mention of t*ntacle monsters and some lulzy display (like shoving a morning star up someone's b*tthole in retaliation). In here, the MC will discover new things as he kept on exploring and trying different stuff. This story will mostly be character-driven. Explanations about the world and its mechanics was kept to a minimum. The MC's on the shameless side with not much real-life common sense (maybe) and he's (probably) not righteous at all. The other characters can be pretty weird as well. It won't focus on romance. Well that's about it.

This is my 3rd story on RoyalRoad, the other two having long since been dropped years ago. They were a mess of ideas and had no real substanence to them, leading me to begin hating writing them and eventually just stop writing altogether for about a year and a half. Finally, after reading hundreds of thousands of pages of novels, from low fantasy to sci-fi litrpg's to thousands of pages long xianxias, I finally feel ready to write a real story that isn't a cesspool of ideas blended together. I plan to see this out to the end, as I already have the first few major arcs planned out unlike my other stories where I thought of ideas as I wrote. This story takes place in a world with a litrpg system, as per tags. This isn't a VRMMO or Reincarnation story. The main character exists in and is from said world. There are some differences from other litrpg's which will be explained in author notes in the few few chapters. I plan to publich 6-7 chapters a week, each 2-3k words long. If i fail to do so I will create a back-log I have to eventually make up but as of writing this it's the summer for me so I'll have plenty of time to write. Since time immemorial humanity has always feared and shunned what it didn’t understand. Over time this changed a bit to encompass things that didn’t conform to their thoughts and ideals. Due to humanity’s stubbornness with which the enforced their ideals many lives were lost and changed. When humanity first clashed with monsters and the beings that use magic, this trait caused many bloody fights. Over time the fights escalated into battles and full on war on several occasions. Humanity due to their adaptability and persistence won many of these altercations, causing huge casualties to the magical beings. Humanity did not come out unscathed however; many of the empires and civilizations noted in human history fell due to these battles and wars. Eventually over time humanity and the magical beings came to a sort of agreement. Magic and the beings associated with it faded into the background of history, being relegated to myth and legend. Humanity meanwhile advanced leaps and bounds once magic faded, leading to our current level of civilization. Not all magical beings were content with this, thus they did their own actions and killed or fed on humans. This has led to many organizations to be formed concerning this, on both the side of humanity and the side of magical beings. They regulate and control the use of magic as well as protect humanity from the darker things that are now not but myth to them, but there is a reason humanity instinctually fears the dark. Unfortunately there are always those that are unsatisfied by the status quo, and those that are prejudiced against things that are different. This is a story of a young man who wanted nothing more than to be normal. Unfortunately Fate and the world he lives in do not easily allow that this, thus his life changed, not for the better. Everyone has heard of or read stories about monsters and legends, heroes and villains, this is one such story. Hi, this is my second attempt at a story here, the first was before the major overhaul happened and i lost everything related to that story due to PC troubles. I hope you enjoy this if you dont please leave some constructive criticism in the comments. An Editor and the like will be needed, but I will edit as problems are pointed out and as i proof read. This story will have no set schedule, unless of course I decide to type up a bunch in succession then i will note that in a chapter beforehand. ADDED NOTE: most sexual content will be in Interludes or sub chapters with a .5 attached. Profanity and gore however shall be plenty in the actual story, though the descriptives for the gore may be added later. What's different about this fic is it's a reader insert! Now I've messed up the timeline A LOT (Barry Allen who?) with this. Aunt May let Peter live in the compound so she could travel the world like she's always wanted to. But (Y/n) and Peter both go to Midtown High. It'll make sense.... eventually.
