Lynn was busy for the next few weeks and it was then, that Jake surprisingly had no magical problems.
"Man, other than the few errands, no magic problems."
Trixie got excited at that.
"That's great Jakie! That means you can come with me to this concert."
Jake perked up at that.
"Cool! But why not take spud or Rose?"
Rose gave him a sad smile.
"My parents want to go on a small road trip to Maine to visit family."
Spud smiled lazily at him.
"I got a convention for Space Raiders that's guest speaking with the one and only Benjamin Cucumber!"
Trixie went on about the rising star.
"He's so dreamy Jakie! His voice makes my feet feel week and like I'm going to faint. Here listen to his latest hit."
Jake put on the headphones and was actually into it.
"Dang, he has some vocals. You're right, he sounds great, a bit weird on some parts. His voice sounds..no it just rings in your ears after some parts."
Trixie shrugged it off.
"It's just catchy and I wouldn't mind his voice ringing in my ears. Actually, I don't get that when I listen to it."
Jake was surprised at that, it seemed normal for him to hear.
"Maybe it's your heightened hearing from being a dragon?"
Spud suggested as he was building a tower with his fries.
"It makes sense, you do respond to all my mumbles, I though you were psychic sometimes."
Trixie said. She remembered one time insulting jakes style under her breath and he was a couple of feet away too. He heard it and shouted at her about how she couldn't judge.
"I still think your old style was wack."
Jake grabbed a couple of fries from spud's tower and threw them at her. She retaliated and soon enough, the two of them destroyed tower of spud. Spud wailed as his creation was destroyed. Rose dodged the fries easily from her huntsgirl training. Jake wore a white tank top with some black shorts.

"Jakie! I better see you in normal clothes-good enough, it is gonna be hot anyways."
Jake was surprised how decked out Trixie was in merch. All it said was Val~. It was a teal color with a music note at the end.
"At least the merch is pretty ok. Let's go, trixie where is the concert again?"
Trixie winced and smiled nervously at Jake.
"It's a, it's at Delane.."
Jake took a double-take and squinted his eyes at her.
"You want me-"
"to fly us there yes, come on! It'll only take 30 minutes top through flying! And it's night time too-"
Jake turned to go back in his home but Trixie latched to his side.
"Come on!!! Fine I'll get you your Diablos breakfast taco tomorrow!"
"Three."
Trixie widened her eyes but Jake's face told her it was his deal. She groaned and nodded.
"Fine, you're running me thin! Thin!! Now dragon up so we can get in on time."
Jake transformed and flew them out to the concert. It was pretty low profile but there were plenty of people there.
"Huh, it smells sorta, like the sea.."
Trixie nodded pointing at the decorations.
"Val is all for sea life! His song about the sea life is especially great. I donated some money into those metal straws from it."
Jake was liking this singer more and more. A person for wild-life, that's pretty cool.
"Ooh! The shows about to start soon, come on jakie let's get good spots."
They stood near the middle of the crowd and the lights dimmed. In the middle of the stage a puff of sparkles stood the most prettiest being in the world to Jake. The boy's hair half shaven on the side and the rest pushed over with teal highlights against their raven hair. The boy wore dark blue makeup and the blackest lipstick that made Jake want to claim them. Wait, what? The boy's eyes, closed but as soon as they opened Jake felt they stared into his soul. Bright blue, unnaturally like the ocean.

"Hello lovelies! Thanks for coming out tonight, I want to think everyone for coming and help support my sea charity! Please, without further ado! Let's get this party started!"
The boy sang and danced sensually that really made Jake feel weak. It was odd with the flashes of lights and Jake almost thought he saw something odd, whenever Val would go sing to a fan they would faint. Which wasn't that bad, but sometimes the light didn't flash fast enough. It was then Jake could make out a wisp of something go between Val and the fan.
"Yo trix something ain't right!"
Trixie was to busy screaming to listen and Jake felt himself pushed into the mosh pit. He luckily got out but ended separated from Trixie. Once it was the ending song the whole vibe was chaotic and Jake almost wanted to join. But he knew something was going on and couldn't bring himself to get lost in the hype. Val ended up catching his eye again but this time neither looked away. Jake felt something stir in him. He licked his lips and pushed back his hair at Val.
Val spun and puffed out his chest a bit. Soon enough the star actually made his way to him singing. He jumped into the crowd walking and making way to Jake. Jake was surprised the crowd gave the two space as they circled each other. The two danced in sync oddly enough. Jake, although shorter, dipped the other easily. Val stared star struck at the being in front of him. Sadly he still had a show and left Jake before leaning to whisper in his ear.
"Till we meet again firecracker~"
Jake smiled and gasped as he felt adrenaline leave him. When he finally made it to the back Jake decided to find Trixie. Before he could do anything Trixie grabbed him.
"Jakie!!! You just danced and caressed VAL!"
He blushed and before he could explain himself Trixie started jumping around.
"I can't believe I didn't know you liked both as well!"
Jake paused and turned to Trixie surprised.
"You're Bi? I mean, I don't know about me that was uh-"
"Jacob Long you can not tell me after you just sensually danced with that man, that you did not feel attracted to that cutie at all"
Jake paused before flushing hard. He put his face in his hand and nodded. Trixie smiled understandably.
"Oh jakie, it's fine if your figuring it out now. Actually I'm surprised you didn't know before. What with Nigel and you-"
Jake glared at Trixie.
"Ok, I'm not interested in some arrogant wizard, plus no one except Rose was really all that for me."
Trixie hummed before turning to him.
"What about Kyle?"
Jake scoffed at her for even suggesting him.
"Trixie, you and I can do better than some jock nerd."
Trixie sputtered and began to laugh, which soon enough had Jake joining. They left and spent the night having a sleep over.
